Guest Reviews
- Kris Arnold (10/5): - Room was clean, spacious, great location. Balcony and views were a good bonus. Would definitely stay again!
- Sue (9/5): Enjoyable - The Unit was central to where we needed to go and close to transportation lovely view nice clean unit we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we return to Brisbane Not being from Brisbane sourcing the key was a little trying but once we got our barings all was good
- Karen (10/5): Very comfy, clean and lovely apartment.. brilliant location would stay again - Excellent location Having to get to an alternate location to and return the key

- Emma (3/5): Dissapointing, not very clean, late communicaton, good location. - Location for the Exhibition Centre is good. Two bathrooms was helpful, bed comfy and clean. It could be a really nice apartment, high ceilings, exposed brick etc but its so basic, unclean and too many things were broken. The bathrooms were not very clean - old toothpaste in the (ripped) bin liner, shower screens in both bathrooms were dirty, old use tissues in one bathroom when we arrived (yuk), broken microwave and exhaust fan (not communicated before the stay), see photos. Black table and coffee table chipped laminate. Lipstick marks on mugs and glasses so had to re-wash. We chose to not eat in the apartment and eat out as everything felt a bit grubby. A blind is being held together by band-aid tape.....oh, and the lift was out so we had to walk down 9 flights of stairs (it did take us up).
But the most disappointing thing, was a late message on arrival day saying we have to walk 6 minutes to get the key from a lock box, there were so may boxes, it was dark, we couldn't easily get into the box, our Uber driver helped us, the Uber charge was $20 more because he had to wait. Then when we arrived there are some lock boxes outside - so very strange. Also, loose the weird owl toy on the bookshelf - it was creepy - camera?!
- Rod (6/5): I was not happy with the charge for laundry when in my opinion it should have been included in general laundering. -
- Zissis (9/5): - Close for work Alot of constuction going on causing noise eatly in the morning.
- Driver (1/5): Disappointing and not as advertised! - Nothing Did not stay, property is not as marketed or listed (misleading and deceptive) on the website. Was not well presented, felt aged and not very clean. Asked for a refund early but was denied.
- Nick (6/5): Ok but a budget stay. - The location and height of the property. It was fairly spacious and convenient. The furniture is old and in bad repair. Dining table is gross. Big balcony but it was dirty.
It is a shame because it has great bones and could be a fantastic place to stay. Getting the keys was a major trial. Communication was very poor. Wifi was really bad.
Views are lovely and windows are huge.

- Christine Fitzpatrick (7/5): Great Location, that's all - Location, easy walking distance from Cultural Centre Bus terminal, QPAC, Museum, Central Station Southbank and not too much further from Queen St and the Casino.
Unit is quite roomy with 2 seperate bathrooms. We had unexpectedly booked the unit on the same weekend that the British Lions were in town. Accommodation prices all over Brisbane CBD were at a premium this weekend, and we paid top dollar for this unit. Unfortunately the unit itself did not reflect the price paid.
The furnishings are quite dated, but enough for what you need.
Was disappointed to find that there was still sanitary rubbish in one of the bathroom rubbish bins. There was no doona on the bed in one of the bedrooms, and the dishwasher still had dishes in it. There was foid left in the freezer. We had to clean the balcony furniture before we could sit on it.
Also there was only 1 key and lift tag supplied, access to unit without key was impossible, 2 keys would have made things easier.
I did email re the bedding to ask if a doona could be supplied, but got no answer.

- Rebecca (10/5): Great place staff easy to contact quick reasons would stay again - Was noce and close to everything clean and comfortable
- Bevan (7/5): Good -
- Maggy (7/5): Good location - Ni breakfast available. Picking the keys up from another location. Microwave didn't work. No available internet.
- Ver59 (4/5): Not for me. - The location I didn't like, that to get the keys, it was a 7min walk away, pulling a suitcase š got to where the key should be, only to find it, 5min later, across the road from the address given, then had to walk back. Why it can't be at the apartment building somewhere, i don't know.
- Vanessa (5/5): They jacked the price up because there was a concert in town we paid $600 a night instead of $200 which is really disapp - We had to do a scavenger hunt to find the key which is in a lock box hooked to a fence 2 streets away and when your not from Brisbane was quite the adventure There was no air conditioning in the second room and you couldn't open the window due to the street noise
- Annette (5/5): It was satisfactory but some of the guests were unhappy with vague directions ans lack of information in the room for ch - Good location. The lack of clear and concise directions. A key box located on the fence opposite 58 Hope st, and entry to property is via Fish Lane if parking is required. Would have saved us a lot of time and stress due to roadworks and maps.
- Muhmmad (8/5): Overall was it was a wonderful stay, great location and price but utilities such as wifi and home entertainment systems - The check in process was thorough, the apartment was much more spacious than the images on booking.com which was a plus. Had a parking space which was very useful. Also the location was close to the bus stop and not a far walk from the CBD. The wifi was extremely slow, for overseas travellers it made it difficult to make plans at the property. Additionally remotes for both TVās had no batteries so limited out options in terms of at home entertainment.
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Vanessa (7/5): Great apartment with good facilities, Good location. - location to the exhibition centre and restaurants Check in was from 3pm although I didn't receive information on how to get the keys and access. Messaged and called when we landed in Brisbane, no reply. We arrived to the location at 5:45pm still not contact. Managed to find another number to call and get access. Booking.com email instructions came through at 10pm that night!
Some noise due to road construction.
- Sharyn (4/5): Good location , nice apartment , inconvenient check in process . - Good position, nice apartment . Check in was not great . There was a lengthy email which asked for a copy of my ID to be emailed back to them before I was sent instructions on how to enter property . We were in car on route and did not have good internet access , so I didnāt see this request until I was waiting outside the property wanting to get in . It took us an extra hour waiting to enter property , as It was hard to contact the owner , and all felt very de personalized . I resent the fact that I had to send a copy of my drivers license - I have never been asked to do this before , and would request that the property owner deletes this info . I chose booking .com over air bnb as I thought this type of situation would be avoided . I will be hesitant to book through booking .com again .
