Guest Reviews
- Alexandra (1/5): Avoid - dirty, broken and unlivable - Location Dirty everywhere, shower leaked everywhere due to blocked drain, front door broken and can’t lock screen, outdoor area overgrown, curtains ripped and mouldy, didn’t look like photos online at all, dirty tissues under bed, toilets dirty, beds looked unmade, lounges all broken with springs (hurts to sit on), pee mark on lounge upstairs, lights don’t work, little door downstairs opens up to a 2m drop under the house (should be locked due to safety issue with toddler/children), list goes on.
- Wayne (8/5): Overall my stay was suitable for what I was in Sydney for. - Location was great, place was clean and tidy, communication was good. Not too sure on the hygiene of the aircon so didn’t turn them on which was hard as the temp was above 30 degrees.
They maybe ok but look like they need a clean.
The shower doesn’t drain fast enough (possible blockage). Had torture off to let water drain then one to rinse off. A good water saving intuitive I guess 🤭.
- Greg (5/5): - Excellent location Couches, bathroom, blinds
- Stephanie (1/5): For the money we paid to stay here is was sooooo disgusting and disappointing. I would not recommend. - It was close to Woolies. The property was dirty. Belongs everywhere. Shower was blocked and water would go everywhere. The steps to upstairs where so dangerous to go up and down. There was a smell in the upstairs bedroom that was sooooo bad we couldn’t sleep in them.
- Lisa (2/5): - The location was good.
Place was clean where it not need repairs. It is very run down and needs alot of work done.
Eg- light covering missing in dining room, laundry/bathroom cupboard swollen and chipped, toilet seat loose, mould on the roll up blinds, no air conditioning in 2nd bedroom. They only had a small portable fan/cooling device. We had to buy insect spray to kill lots of mosquitoes and cockroaches in the kitchen. Front screen door did lock at all and I was very worried about the lack of security thru out the place on windows and balcony door. Internal stairs are very steep and narrow with no rail on the upper half. Elderly person could not go up for safety so slept on the pull out sofa bed down in the lounge. Toilet in the upper room was extremely small and smelled of urine. I sprayed with Glen 20 but it stil smelt. Did not use it at all.

- CHUAN CHUAN (7/5): 如果再選擇一次不會來這間 - 位置很好,請人維修,維修工態度很好。 沙發很臭,排水系統不好會淹水,床、浴巾不乾淨。
- Lorna (7/5): -
- Wayne (7/5): - The location was great Could have been cleaner
- Christophe (5/5): Moyen - Il n’était pas propre et lit trop petit
- Matt (5/5): Buyer beware. - Location was amazing Cleanliness.
I have concerns regarding the exposed wires that were hanging out the wall. The visible presence of black mould on the roller blinds and air conditioning unit forced myself and my family to sleep in the lounge room for the entirety of our stay.

- Warren (8/5): Eddie on the booking team was always very communicative and helpful. The property is well located. -
- Warren (10/5): Loved it, great neighbourhood! - The response to my last minute booking was prompt and positive. Eddie was a pleasure to deal with and always responsive and supportive. I’ll certainly be back in touch.
- Linda (8/5): The central location was so convenient yet also quiet and peaceful. Easy to locate and had everything we needed. - Great location, terrace home experience, well provisioned Mould in bathroom
- Steven (8/5): -
- Beverley (7/5): Fantastic location - The location is fantastic !!!!! and it has everything u need close by. The beds, bedding, towels, and floors are spottless. Kitchen and bathroom basic but again has everything you need. It's dirty (window ceils thick of dust and blinds mouldy & broken) smells of damp, so they have air fresheners in all rooms, but apparently, the damp is a big problem in Pyrmont. It's run down and in need of some TCL
- Sarah (7/5): - La localisation et l’espace chambre à l’étage L’isolation et la douche (évacuation à réparer)
- Michael (7/5): Well located house, but not too secure and clean - Location
Really well located house right next to the supermarket, very close to bus stops and restaurants/cafes, short distance walk to Darling Harbour and the city and a lot of good shower supplies Cleanliness and safety
Doors and partly windows not lockable, not fully cleaned (dust and leftovers from pervious guests under furniture), shower drain too slow, which flooded the bathroom
- Matthew (5/5): Overall it is a comfy house, and a great location. I enjoyed the stay but there desperately needs attention to be payed - Great location for shops and food and it’s a good distance to the tram lines to get other places quickly. It’s cosy for a small group While we knew it was going to be couch sleeping for some of us (4 beds/2 couches), the quality of the couches is low. The bathroom had a lot of black mould on the curtains and the first heater we went to plug in almost cost us our trip as the plug was already half melted and burnt. A few of the power points also had no power running to them at all.
- Kristie (8/5): Loved our Sydney visit - Loved the space we had great super close to the supermarket and relitevly close to the harbour.
Great kitchen everything you need, lots of lounge seating We needed a couple of spare towels for 5 ppl and being there 3 days we found it alittle light on but no big deal at all really!
- Nicky (10/5): Location, location, location! - Great location. Clean & tidy. Well equipped kitchen.
- Julie (7/5): Pleasant and very handy for a group of four. Good value for one night but probably Wouldn’t stay longer - Great location Could do with a bit of attention. Lounge spring broken, mouldy blinds. No spare sheets. Stale air smell.
- Helen (9/5): Lovely terrace house in a fantastic location - This terrace house is in a great location. There are shops and restaurants very close by and it was an easy walk into the centre of Sydney. The property was comfortably furnished and equipped with everything needed for our 1 week stay. As a few people have said the stairs are indeed steep so I would not recommend the property to anyone with mobility issues but for us it was fine.
- Jacob (10/5): Great bang for buck - Property was great location, cozy and cute place Nothing, property was great
- Wells (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (4/5): Might make sense price- and location-wise for some, but you've been warned. - Location The pictures are super misleading. Aside from being greeted by full trash bins right outside the unit, the inside looks like a cleaned up party unit. Walls are scuffed, a bookcase holds random belongings like a lost and found, the fireplace holds extra linens (clean?) in a basket, the upstairs double bed had extra linens dumped on a chair, the twin beds were almost on the ground so good luck if you have mobility issues, the bathroom flooded whenever someone showered (rotting alongside sink shows this is not new), vacuum sat on laundry sink area, tv didn't work and a random cable hung over the living room, backyard space looks neglected, one of the bathroom windows doesn't lock (fortunately too small for an adult to crawl through), and the upstairs toilet was so small (and inside a room) my friends ended up using the downstairs. Warnings about "NO PARTIES" is one thing, but the place looks like they host them on the regular.
- Andra (5/5): Passable -
- Schenone (4/5): Terror house in great location - Only the location Unfomfortable: Beds and sofa beds were all very uncomfortable. We booked the property for 7 pple and the 1st night there were not 7 set of sheets and pillows, so we had to use the sofa cushions wrapped on t-shirts and struggled to sleep as there were not sufficient sheets. Next day the host brought all what we requested, including a Mould Killer for the shower as it was full of mould, super disgausting, we always had to shower wearing thongs. One of the bedrooms do not have blinds so the noise and lights do not let you sleep well. Cleanliness: was the worst, the main bedroom upstairs is full of mould on the wall behind the bed head rest. All binds are stained with mould. One of my friends got a rash in all his body on 2nd day of our stay, we suspect it was bed bugs. The waste bins are located at the front of the unit right next to the entry door. On our arrival, all bins were overflown with rubbish that wasnt ours, and they got emptied on the 3rd day of our arrival. As mentioned before, the shower was terribly disgusting. Unsafe: various electrical parts were unfit, backyard is in abandoned conditions. I checked another place on the 1st night because we wanted to leave, but as we went to a concert, everything was booked out. Despite of the great location, we will never come back.
- Brendan (7/5): Good -
- Gary (8/5): Very good - Host is responsive. Location is great. Great value. The shower drain does not drain quickly. The bathroom floor will be flooded.
- Sandra (6/5): Felt like budget accommodation for a premium price - Easy check-in process, lots of cafés and restaurants in the vicinity, easy to get to from airport. Really uncomfortable mattresses on the two single beds (you could feel every spring), broken toilet seat, broken light shade, bathroom floor got wet when using shower. Steep stairs to bedrooms so we left all our luggage downstairs. We messaged the hosts at 7:45 am (it was on a Saturday) and we had no response by the time we needed to check out at 10 am.
- Alistair (8/5): Very good - Location Uncomfortable beds, very dated and lack of storage space if stopping over for more than one night
Grubby old windows, no curtains over from windows and had to hang a sheet over the curtain rail.
Total revamp is required on this property
- Vikki (8/5): Very good -
- D-marie (9/5): Great location and comfortable place to stay - Location, location, location. For anything in near or around The Star or Lyric theatre, this place is very central. Most of the furnishings were in good shape. Bedding was comfortable and the owner was really amazing to contact and helped us out with parking locations as well. The lack of sound insulation, mainly coming from the windows and old “circulation vents” in the walls, which is typical for the vintage of the place. Bathroom and blinds could use a little TLC, but it was good enough for the duration of the stay. Despite these, would happily consider staying there again. 😁
- Marie (4/5): Very average for the price - Location was fantastic and owner was responsive to issues. Back step was broken and unsafe
Staircase is dangerously narrow and steep not easy to get up and down. No handrail
Shower floods over base and onto bathroom floor
No walking room around bed - have to climb/ crawl in
No storage or place to put your belongings.
Could not connect to Internet
- Alana (9/5): Superb -
- Mr (10/5): Exceptional - Cute and cosy.
