Guest Reviews
- Oliver (7/5): Perfect location and a lovely studio - Location is excellent and the studio is lovely with comfortable beds. Only issue was that landscaping was being done so bobcat was in middle of driveway and studio was surrounded by wheelbarrows, old lunchbox and even glyphosate sprayer. Would have loved to have got nice photos to share of our stay but the equipment was in the photos

- Elizabeth (7/5): - Nice location. Clean. The instructions for getting to the property need improving they do not mention the lane at the rear of the property. The car park at the rear was taken by people in the main house as the owners car was in the carport. The internet instructions were wrong and the internet barely existent. Only small double beds. The sink in the bathroom is small and difficult to wash dishes in or even fill water bottles.
- Gorman (7/5): Besides the things mentioned above, overall we had a great stay and would most likely book again - Quiet location and easy access to walking track and beach. Internet kept cutting in and out. TV was way too small and no airplay, no ironing boards, not a functional tap to do dishes in the bathroom, only half roll toilet paper and required more bath mat towels for the length of time there.
- andrew (2/5): Bring your 2min noodles - the “kitchen” is a just microwave only. Bring a bucket. You’ll need it to wash any dishes and - Location close to Dunsborough main road and cafes Misleading statements in property description about “cooking” facilities. No mention it’s a granny flat 10m behind a main house which is also open to seperate renters. It’s a fishbowl for others to look in. Called a Studio. Every studio I know is a one bed with small Kitchenette and small laundry. This place doesn’t even have a kitchen sink. The single sink is the bathroom. No laundry. No window to open up at night. The design and build screams of a Perth owner who puts as little as possible into it then tries to screw people. Unsurprising really.
- Jacqui (9/5): Great little cottage. - Great location, quiet, beachfront Tiniest of fridges, barely a bar fridge . Not enough room for basics , no freezer to keep ice
- Jarrad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Allan (3/5): Failed to meet expectations. - Improving the facility’s could make it a reasonable place. Having to use the hand basin in the bathroom to get water to wash the plates and drink is not okay.
The supplied directions did not explain the need to access the unit from a back lane, which was confusing especially when arriving in the evening.
The WIFI signal was week and dropped out frequently.
The kitchen facility are really only suitable to manage having continental breakfast or serving takeaway meals.
The chairs inside and on the veranda are too few and uncomfortable.
Located behind the main house at the back of the block does not give good views of the beach and it’s not private access to the beach.
The bathroom door is inadequate.
The management of this studio failed to sufficiently or adequately respond to my phone, text & email complaint.
The studio does not live up to its description, I felt it was not good value.
- Asha (8/5): Very good -
- Anastasia (9/5): Perfect getaway place for a peaceful relaxing stay. - Location is ideal, peaceful and right on the beach but close to the town centre. the size of the place was great. Very comfortable, all amenities high quality. The sliding door on the bathroom is difficult to close/ open and kept coming off the top rolling rail and when fully closed there are large gaps around the edge so someone can see in.
- Tarun (8/5): Very good -
- Karie-anne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (9/5): Simply lovely in the most perfect location - The location was perfect - literally steps from the most gorgeous little beach and 5 mins to the down centre. Very comfortable beds, quiet and really pretty. It didn’t matter to us as we stayed only one night but there is no real kitchen - microwave and coffee machine, small fridge. So more like hotel facilities rather than a place you could cook.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kyle (8/5): Very good -
- Courtney (6/5): Beautiful setup but lacks value for money and amenties - The property was very aesthetically pleasing, a nice small coastal studio. Great location close to the beach. The property description is not accurate -There is no oven or dishwasher. The washing facilities for the studio were only available in the bathroom which is far from hygienic. Very little privacy with the bathroom, the barn door leaves gaps on either side, not suitable for people wanting privacy.
- Natalie (7/5): Great location, quiet studio at rear of other rental. Glimpses of bay. Very comfortable but lacking some amenities. - Lovely aesthetic, costal vibes and beautiful comfortable beds and linens (only double size). Unfortunately it’s an entities were advertised differently to what was present. Namely no kitchen sink inside or outside.
- Chelsey (5/5): Somewhat disappointed - The studio was clean, modern & comfortable. The facilities that were provided were in good condition/ good quality (crockery, cutlery, glassware, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, TV, air con, small microwave, small fridge, kettle, tea and coffee). The bathroom was lovely. The facilities were not as advertised, and we would not have paid the high price tag had we known. Advertised, but not provided were: kitchen (bench only), kitchenware (basic crockery and cutlery only, with bbq utensils), stovetop, oven, dishwasher, dining table, and the advertised 'sea view' was a stretch. Other items not provided were of little/no consequence for a 1 night stay, but everything else impacted our stay, and we had to re-plan our meals and go and buy more food to suit the limited kitchen facilities (including an ADDITIONAL trip to buy sugar as there was none provided). The signage indicated that we needed to wash our plates etc - fair enough, but in the bathroom sink? Surely this is unhygienic? Could guests not have a tub to place dirty items in to wash them/have them washed in a more appropriate place? The only tap in the bathroom was a tight fit for anything other than a mug, so we had to use that to fill the kettle and drink bottles etc. I would recommend an alternate sink or provide a jug for filling vessels.
It was a lovely little studio, but not worth the price tag, and the advertising was not accurate (3 trips to the shops for one "special" overnight stay is not ok.)
- Melissa (8/5): Very good - Location was great, exactly as advertised and had a little bbq which we used for dinner.
