- gacquist (9/5): - Casa grande, silenziosa e vicinissima Baker Street. La metropolitana è i mezzi di superficie comodi.

- Kelly (10/5): Large, comfortable home in great central location! - Thank you Karina. We loved staying in your gorgeous home! The Christmas tree in the sitting room was a lovely touch. Location was great and easy walk to the tube to get into all the central London attractions. We stayed with another family in the house and we had the basement bedroom which was warm, clean and comfortable.
Karina was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay!
- Hayley (8/5): Great location and house, well worth a stay if want a quiet central location. - Great facilities and fantastic communication. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 teenagers.
Loved the fans provided (we are a family of warm sleepers!)
Clean rooms which have obviously had a great deal of care and attention. Nothing was too much trouble.
Any issues and queries were dealt with really promptly. More towels would be good or better access to washing machine/tumble dryer (the room was full of clean wet towels drying) in utility room.
Some lights need bulbs changing (flickering in kitchen or no light in wardrobe) but these really are little moans!
- Ryanne (9/5): It was lovely. - The pictures show the property accurately. It’s very lovely. The local is very nice. We were able to catch buses just outside the door and also walk to many attractions. The only area that was a little uncomfortable is the room with the trundle beds as there is no room for luggage if the bottom bed is out. We put our luggage in the next room to make space.
- Rohrbaugh (9/5): Well equipped villa is an excellent location for visitors. - The location is very good. Renters have easy walking access to public transit - bus (within 100 ft) and rail (0.4 mi). There are a number of local restaurants available for meals. We found business owners to be friendly and welcoming. The area is near a school, a business college, and a hospital so it felt safe and approachable. There are nearby local stores for essentials as well. The owner communicated with us thoroughly and offered their property manager to assist if needed. That was comforting though we did not have to call for help.
We especially enjoyed visiting Marylebone and the weekend market. The villa's kitchen was well equipped and sufficient that we were able to prepare a few breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. This allowed for us to have some gathering time together during our visit.
We enjoyed the sitting area on the 2nd level and the weather occasionally allowed us to use the outdoor seating area as well. The bedrooms were generally comfortable and welcoming. Adequate bed linens, towels, and paper goods were available. There were even coffee pods provided. We found the villa to be comfortable (temps during our visit were 60-70 deg F). The villa has good WiFi. The entry is pleasant with a coat rack, shoe storage and a small seat. The foyer makes it easy to leave the weather outside when entering. First - we would stay here again. Our negative observations are comparatively minor.
There are a lot of stairs. Our group totaled seven adults. The stairs were not a problem, but users of the upper bedrooms do have a notable climb.
Lighting in the basement bedroom is a bit harsh, but not a deal killer. The fourth bedroom on the 3rd level is smaller. The other three bedrooms have en suite baths. The smaller bedroom (on the 3rd floor) must access the 3rd floor (full) bath by passing through the adjacent bedroom - not a big issue but do know that is what you're getting.
The villa is well equipped; we were excited to have a washer and dryer. They are small, but we expected that. The dryer doesn't seem to work well and shuts off prematurely. We were still able to do some washing and used a combination of the dryer and a drying rack (provided) to get by. The dryer operation was annoying, but again, not a deal killer.
There were a couple of light blubs out and the basement TV system didn't seem to work, but those were very minor issues for our stay.
- Diane (9/5): I would definitely stay here again! - The location of this property was excellent, right next to a bus stop and a 6 minute walk from the Marylebone Underground Station. There are two grocery stores on the walk back from the tube. We really enjoyed having the kitchen and ate almost all breakfasts and dinners at the house. The bedrooms are spacious, giving you much more room than hotel rooms. The kids loved having the living room to hang out in, and they played several of the games they found in the cabinet. The washer and dryer are tiny but nice to have. Just don't count on doing much laundry. The dryer took forever! The owner, Karina, and the property manager, Sumeet, are VERY responsive.
There are 5 levels in the house. The lowest level has sleeping for a family of 4 (2 large beds) and a full bath. The entry level has a toilet/sink and the kitchen. The next level is the living room with an outdoor space. Up the narrow steps from here is accommodation for 4, a queen bed and 2 twins (trundle) in a separate room, as well as a full bath. At the top (many stairs to get there) is a queen bed and a full bath. My family of 9 (single grandmother, 2 families with 2 children each) fit perfectly. The two upper bedrooms have very large closets. The lower level one has a hanging rack and chest of drawers. It says it is air conditioned, but we didn't see how to turn on a cooling system. We were lucky that the weather was cool, but I imagine that the house would be quite warm if the weather is hot, especially the top floor. Each room has a fan, but it's not very powerful. The top floor does have a cooling unit, but I couldn't make it work. The manager would probably have taken care of it if I had needed it.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Lovely house. Not quite as big as photos make out. Roof terrace was lush given the weather we had, but did feel a bit like it wasn't set up for us to use properly.
- Yeat (8/5): Very good -
- Alan (10/5): My family enjoyed a wonderful weekend staying in The London House. Thank You - Great location, excellent facilities, very clean and homely.
- Tárik (10/5): Fabulous - Great comfortable and perfect for a family stay. Complete house, appliances and amenities
- Rotem (10/5): A great house for a family or two - This is a great house for a large family or 2 families traveling together. It's equipped with everything needed, well maintained, centrally located yet quiet and relaxed. Communication with the host was easy, and some small things we needed to sort out were quickly addressed. We were a group of 6 and found it perfect for our needs.
Some things to note: it's an old London townhouse so it's 5 floors with lots of stairs, so not for people who have a problem with that.
Check the floor and room plan to see in advance how it fits, there's one small room that shares a bathroom with one of the double rooms (for us it was perfect for one of the kids).
- Marianna (9/5): Great place to call Home while visiting London - The London house was wonderful for our group of 9 (two sets of grandparents, and a family of 5 with teens). There are 5 levels so be ready for some stairs! The beds were comfortable, the wifi fast, and the bathrooms were clean. The layout is: basement - queen with queen sofa bed & full bath; ground floor- kitchen & toilet; first floor - living space & terrace; 2nd floor - 1 BR (queen w/ full bath & trundle twin beds); 3rd floor - queen w/ full bath & folding chair bed. The decor is fresh & airy. There is only 1 AC on upstairs floor, but there are fans in all the rooms - the top floor can get warm so that makes sense. We really appreciated the Host's quick responses to any communication and needs we encountered. Location is EASY walk to Marylebone station & Regents Park - we loved the location! We cooked a couple meals at the house, and a Tesco was a couple blocks away - it was a wonderful place to call Home during our London visit. As mentioned, we specifically looked for a place with AC as some of our party like to sleep COLD. We managed by running the unit upstairs at night and leaving the door to stairwell open so cold air would spread to the rest of the house (this worked ok as temps were mild during our stay.) There was a little stress on checking in while cleaners were still in the house, and it seemed we interrupted them - but the house was clean. Only one of the TVs worked for us (remote missing & power issue) but it wasn't really an issue - in fact it was almost nice to unplug. But like I said above, any issue or concern we had was quickly resolved or addressed by the owner & property manager.
- Kip (6/5): I would not stay there again. - The owner was responsive to our needs. The bedrooms were good size. Location was not really close to the things we wanted to see in London. Towels and other typical items found in rentals were limited. No welcome packet with information on how to find transportation, attractions, or restaurants. It was also dirty - however the property manager did come over quickly to address these concerns. For the price we paid, it was not a good value.
- James (10/5): wondefil visit with an excellent host. quick walk to multiple underground stations. our family had a great time - plenty of space. clean. very, very quick response from the owner. well stocked. the basement bedroom was pretty stiff. lots if stairs but hey that’s London.
- Ryanrod (10/5): Absolutely exceptional stay for a large family and kids - Location was perfect! Short walk to Baker street tube station and Regent's park. Lots of little eateries nearby. We walked to Lord's cricket club and Abbey road which were both on the to do list of our family! Lots of stairs, but we were all fit to do it. Beautiful house, amazing facilities would EASILY book again for a large family gathering. Karina had kept baby gates to keep my naughty little kids from going up and down the stairs. She was an incredible host.
- Amy (10/5): Wonderful home away from home for kids and parents. - The house was a wonderful home away from home for our two families on our trip of a lifetime. Quiet neighborhood and comfortable for sleeping all 10 of us but still close to all of the central London attractions and easy to get around. Kitchen is well appointed for cooking and hanging out. Living area was perfect for gathering and relaxing after long day of sightseeing. Kids say their favorite things about the house are the X Box, the bathroom in their rooms and cool spiral staircase. There are a lot of stairs/levels so it would be challenging for someone with mobility issues but this wasn’t an issue for us.
- Francesco (9/5): Highly recommended. - Very big and comfortable house.
Well equipped.
It's placed just 4 minutes walking from Marylebone underground station.
The landlord is always available for all needs.
It's a perfect place to go in order to live in a typical English house.
Highly recommended.
- Shira (10/5): What a great Villa! We stayed here as a group of 6 people (2 couples and a 2 more friends), and it was perfect. There’s -
