• Abel (10/5): Week end parfait à Londres ! - Notre hôte était vraiment parfaite : elle nous a donné plein de conseil sur notre voyage qui ont été très utiles, nous a accueilli comme à la maison tout en respectant notre intimité. Nous avons eu la chance de partager de beau moments de discussions avec Candice et avons aimé rencontrer son adorable chien Teddy ! L’hébergement se trouve à crickelwood qui est un quartier autour de Londres très bien desservi en transport (il faut prendre un genre de rer pendant 12 min à peu près depuis st Pancras). Choisissez ce logement si vous souhaitez rencontrer une locale très gentille et son petit chien très mignon. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter ! 🥰
• Pavlína (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay with Candice and her lovely dog Theddy in a very quiet part of London. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and full of character, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Public transport was only a 5-minute walk away, and the city centre was easily reachable within about 30 minutes. There were also shops and restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. Candice was an amazing host who gave us a very warm welcome and recommended great restaurants and beautiful walks tailored to our interests, including both famous landmarks and less touristy but equally charming places. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to London.

Amazing stories! It feels homey and is just absolutely wonderful. Absolutely no dislikes, everything was picture perfect. :)

• Patricia (8/5): Amazing - I would definitely stay again, Teddy the dog is the best thing of the house and Candees was very kind to us, we had a problema with our oyster and she tried to dux for us. The house is very conveniently located for getting to central London and neighborhood has all the amenities you need: transport, supermarkets, and shops.

• Nick (8/5): Goed en vriendelijk - Teddy de huishond! Slaapkamer en badkamer zijn prima. Candace doet er ook alles aan om je verblijf zo prettig mogelijke te maken, waarbij ze ook goede tips heeft voor Londen! Voor iemand boven de 2 meter, is het nogal krapjes hier en daar.

W mieszkaniu jest wszystko co potrzebne, ręczniki, suszarka, naczynia, kosmetyki i adaptery do wtyczek. Mieszkanie jest piękne, okolica spokojna i całkiem cicha. Polecam dla osób które szukają inspiracji i spokoju.

• claire (10/5): - The accommodation was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need. Candice, the hostess, was totally amazing . I took my four year old grandson for 3 days, and he didn't want to leave . There are several options for public transport to visit all the attractions in the city centre nearby and plenty of shops and eateries minutes away from the B&B. I will definitely return.

There was also a lovely dog, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable, exactly what we needed after a day out. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the city centre by train, underground, or bus. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

• DUVAL (10/5): Un super chouette endroit où séjourner, avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix ! - Candide est une hôtesse extrêmement sympathique qui prend le temps pour échanger et répondre à vos questions si besoin. La chambre se situe au rez de chaussée, elle est petite mais il y a suffisamment de place pour ranger des affaires pour quelques jours (un portant et une commode) et est bien chauffée. Elément assez exceptionnel pour les logements chez l'habitant à Londres (j'y viens régulièrement), la salle de douche est privative et possède une douche avec un mitigeur et un wc avec un bouton de chasse d'eau facile d'utilisation (contrairement au système poignée, souvent galère à utiliser..). L'emplacement est hyper calme malgré la proximité d'une rue passante et de la voie ferrée. Le petit chemin d'accès très végétalisé et la terrasse extérieure en font un endroit charmant même si, en novembre, je n'ai pas eu le loisir de beaucoup en profiter. Le centre de Londres est très facile d'accès. La station Crickelwood du Thameslink est à 8 minutes à pied et vous emmène directement et rapidement à Saint Pancras International. Il y a également plusieurs lignes de bus à 2 minutes et la station de métro Willesden green à 19 minutes. Le quartier en lui-même est très vivant, avec de nombreux commerces et restaurants. Cerise sur le gâteau, Candice possède un petit chien absolument adorable (et qui ne dérange pas par des aboiements intempestifs). Bref, tout est parfait. Rien

• Tainá (10/5): Comfort and tranquility - Candice's place is truly amazing. Comfortable, clean, and spacious. I must give honorable mention to the shower, which was really great, providing a relaxing shower after a long day of sightseeing. Her house has a wonderful decor that reflects a bit of Candice in every detail. Candice is also a great host, always concerned with supporting us in finding the best adventures in London. We even made a friend, Teddy, who is a very sweet and affectionate little dog. I highly recommend it and plan to return many more times when I'm in London.

• Anja (9/5): Wonderful stay in North London suburb - Wonderful privately run accommodation in a lovely terrace cottage a short walk from Cricklewood Station, with excellent bus connections into the centre as well. It's about 8min walk to Cricklewood Station where there are frequent trains to Central London. As a former West London resident, I really loved it here. Very convenient for a touristic visit. My room, though small, was quiet and had everything I needed for a restful stay. I also had a bathroom with shower and toilet for private use, and the room was quite private at the back of the house. Super clean, and much nicer than any hotel in my price range. Everything was wonderful. Some might think it is too far out when you are a tourist with little time, and Cricklewood isn't exactly a touristic hotspot, but the connections to the city center were good. I felt safe at night as a solo traveller.

• Julia (10/5): - The host was super friendly and helpful. Made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Good value for money. Beautiful location - a bit out of city, but main attractions were easily accessible by bus/underground. Would definitely recommend!
• James (8/5): If all hosts were like thus one! - Great host, couldn't do enough. Quiet, railway line nearby but not that busy. Access to west end by bus / tube.. Can't think of anything.
• Stella (9/5): Cosy, green retreat (with the friendliest little co-host) - Lovely little place in the north of London! Candice went above and beyond, to help me create the perfect tour for my trip, providing tipps, recommendations and even creating personalized google maps routes. The house is in a quiet, calm area and has a lovely garden. And if you don’t like dogs – after meeting Theddy you will! I felt very safe and got two good nights of sleep in this busy city. Hope to see the two again! It is a bit far from the „main attractions“ but easily accessible with public transport, so that’s only a minor inconvenience.
• Lothar (10/5): Nice for outgoing people - They have a lovely dog and the premises are cosy, clean and on the ground floor (no hauling heavy suitcases upstairs). You have your own bathroom right next to the bedroom, the kitchen is well equipped and there is a washing machine, a microwave and a fridge. There is a lovely playground in the immediate vicinity and a Tesco just around the corner, lots of busses nearby and a lovely cage called La Esquina you must visit while there. Love the dog really, such a great personality. There is a neighborhood book box as well just around the corner where you can share books and get some lovely reads. A quiet place where you can get a good night's sleep and you can have the window open at night as it overlooks the fenced-in and locked garden. You share the kitchen and the living room with the owner, so at times you are in each other's space. The host is a pleasant, kind person, but if you are looking for a place of your own where you can close the door and have no interaction with the outside world unless you so choose, that is not the right fit for you. Of the entire fridge, we were assigned one shelf, which was a bit tight at times, İ prefer my own fridge like the one we have now at the other accomodation and İ really missed having a desk in the room as İ needed to work quite a lot and then did that in the kitchen/common room where İ felt like a nuisance at times for taking up the space. Also, the light in the living room is really dim and you are not supposed to use the light above the kitchen table for a long time because there are plants inside and as amazing as that looks on photos of the place, it is impractical once you are there. İ would visit again, but maybe bring my own table light.

My sister and I were visiting London and looking for a comfortable, well-connected place to rest, and we ended up finding so m uch more than we expected. She really made us feel at home. The location is fantastic — quiet and safe, but with excellent connections that make getting to central London quick and easy.
