It would have been helpful if the was laundry detergent to do our washing. We left a day early as we could not handle the smell / mould on walls unfortunately. Also in some of the reviews of this place it states that there was a rooftop pool - this is not the case

• Peng Hong (8/5): Good place but marred by unfortunate incident of payment. Host was responsive to request when needed - Everything is within my expectation. Host did not inform me that he need to collect cash for the stay and cannot accept the credit card that I used to book my stay. We could not enjoy our stay as we need to waste time to find ways to make cash payment. We were worried that we will be kick out of the property if the payment was not made. The host should inform us no to worry and in the worse case, he would accept credit card.

• Süleyman (1/5): WIR WURDEN AUSGERAUBT. - Die Lage und der anfängliche Empfang waren in Ordnung. Direkt nach der Ankunft wurde das Geld in Cash verlangt. Nach der Bezahlung wurde unsere Reservierung auf Booking storniert von Seiten des Vermieters. Auf meine Anfrage warum, hat er gesagt, dass es ein Versehen war von seinem Kollegen. In der letzten Nacht wurden wir dann noch beraubt. 2200€ und 1100$ wurden aus unseren Portemonnaies geklaut. Wir hatten alles eine Nacht vor der Abreise vorbereitet, so dass wir morgens nur raus müssen. Unsere Sachen lagen im Wohnzimmer. Morgens im Taxi ist uns dann aufgefallen, dass unser Geld weg war, was wir abends noch hatten. Das Soho Management hat angeblich Video Aufnahmen sich angeschaut. Leider wurden uns nur 2 Videos von morgens 7:19am gezeigt. Die ganze Nacht fehlt. Angeblich hätten sie sich das Video zu dritt angeschaut. Der Vermieter Yu Fee ist definitiv ein Lügner. Er kann mir angeblich das Video nicht schicken, er dürfe es nicht. Dann wiederum hat er mir Videos geschickt, aber nur von der Zeit als wir das Zimmer verlassen haben. Angeblich hat er es der Polizei gemeldet. Aber er behauptet die Polizei unternehme nichts. Er wurde auch direkt aggressiv und hat alles direkt verneint, er behauptet wir hätten es woanders verloren. Dann wiederum hat er gesagt, dass er schon öfter sowas erlebt hätte. Ganz fiese Nummer die dieser Besitzer mit dem Soho Management abzieht. Danke für Betrug und Ausbeutung. Wir wollen unser Geld zurück! Booking!

The place is going downhill in facilities. It seems like they don’t really care about doing renovations or maintenance at all. Bathroom and bedroom are dirty, bedsheets colours even have odour and yellow marks.
• Karin (8/5): Fijne locatie, ruim appartement - Goede locatie, dichtbij de drukte, maar wel rustig. Lekker ruim en schoon. Goed contact met de host. De eerste twee dagen hadden we lauw water bij de douche. Dit was de derde dag wel lekker warm. Bedden waren voor Nederlandse maatstaven wat hard.

De host is makkelijk om mee te communiceren en reageert snel. Alles op loopafstand. De bedden zijn erg hard, en ook al hou ik van harde matrassen vond ik dit bed wel erg hard.

Located in a prime area, it’s within walking distance to all major attractions and conveniences. Daily essentials are easily accessible with 7-Eleven, K-Mart, and Family Mart just around the corner.

• Deb (10/5): We were very happy that we chose the Yu Stay apartment in Soho D1. Great facilities, great location, made for a wonderfu - Our 2 Bedroom apartment was on the 34th floor. We had a fantastic view of the city, and it was reasonably close to most things. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay. The mattresses were a futon style, which we found a little firm for our liking, but this was just a personal preference.

• Björn (9/5): Great place to stay in HCMC - Good contact throughout the stay. Very hassle free. The view from 26th floor is astonishing and the apartment is in great condition. Pictures are views taken from the apartment. Truly recommended! The beds are harder than what we are used too, but we all slept well.
• Chetana (8/5): Very Well located airy apartment in Ho Chi Minh District 1 close to the historic sights and markets. - The location was excellent. We were interested in staying in District 1 and this apartment worked out very well for us. Most of the sights we were interested in were easily accessed on the Grab app, like the War Remnants Museum, The Opera House, The Saigon Post Office, Book Street, the markets.... The owner was in touch with us and was very accessible with help and information. The washing machine came in handy and the kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery. Since we are light sleepers and we were two adults sharing a bed, it would had made it more comfortable to have two duvets instead of one. We did ask for an extra one but they couldn't provide it. Since we stayed for 4 nights, a change of towels would have been a welcome addition along with a bath mat .

There is no concierge or help desk. When someone finally brought the elevator key and he was extremely rude.

• Tanmay (9/5): Best spot to explore D1 in HCMC - 1. The location is fantastic. Everywhere in D1 was 5-7 minutes away. We managed to do everything we wanted on a tight schedule because of the reduced travel time. It's very close to Bien Vue so you can party hard but come back to a quiet apartment and not be disturbed. 2. Grabs (Vietnamese Uber) reach the apartment within 2 minutes at any hour of the day. 2. The host, Yu, and his staff were extremely helpful. He kept in constant touch to ensure we were having fun and even got us a great deal on the Saigon Princess cruise. We had two apartments on separate floors. Access cards only give you a single floor access. While this is great for building security, we had to go down to the ground floor everytime we wanted to go to our parents' apartment, which was a lot since they are seniors and require care. So if you are booking more than one apartment you may not get them on the same floor.

I was given the wrong info but the owner sent me correct ones when I contacted them. The door was a bit tricky to use but by the time I got help I figured it out.
