Guest Reviews
- Chelsea (10/5): -
- Nathalie (7/5): Nice apartment in a great location with easy links to central London - Instructions very clear and easy to follow. Apartment was clean and in a great location for travel to central London. The area has some really nice cafes and restaurants as well. Room was ready later than advertised. Listing states 3pm check in but I got an email 2 hrs before saying it wouldn’t be ready then. It’s a basement flat and there can be a lot of noise from creaky floorboards upstairs.

- Jean (6/5): Pleasant accommodatiin let down by multiple details. - The location was as described, and exactly what I wanted. Surpisingly quiet. Bedroom, sitting room and kitchen were a good size, and well arranged.
Access instructions - once we got them - were clear and accurate, and the motion sensitive light was helpful. Administration of security deposit was laborious, and delay in providing access details led to unnecessary stress. A well designed kitchen was wasted, because it was not well equipped (no plug for the sink, no tea towel, only two mugs and three tumblers, no wine glasses...). The bathroom / shower was not only small but cramped, and in need of maintenance (plumber called during our stay).

- Michelle (9/5): 5 min walk to tube - Lovely property, 5 min walk to the tube. Had everything we needed, full kitchen, iron, hair dryer, bed is very comfortable. 5 min walk to nearest town, with sainsburys and nice restaurants. Would definitely recommend. Would have liked instructions on how to use the heating
- Leanna (8/5): - Location, comfortable bed
- Sarah (7/5): Nice flat, perfect location, clean and tidy. - Perfect location, nice sized flat and a very comfy bed. All very clean and tidy. Toilet seat and oven door need repairing. We would have liked more than 1 mug! There are smaller cups available.
- wendi (10/5): Perfect for my needs as solo traveller in great safe area - Brilliant location for Tuffnell Park tube and The Dome in a lovely residential area
Nice little home from home Front steps down a bit tricky in the rain
- Karen (6/5): - The flat is really large and bright, with an outdoor sitting area. The bed is comfortable. The surrounding area is attractive, quiet, safe and friendly. It's less than 10 minutes' pleasant walk to Tufnell Park underground station. The flat looks generally tired. The shower temperature cycled between tepid and boiling. The toilet didn't flush very well, and the seat was broken. Cleanliness was not the greatest - I cut my foot on a piece of broken glass - and the vacuum cleaner hardly worked. The dryer didn't do anything and the oven door didn't close properly.
- Lyn (10/5): Brilliant overnight stay and will definitely be back. - It was very clean and had everything that you could possibly want for a short or long stay.
- Robert (10/5): -
- Matt (10/5): Brilliant - Great space and outdoor area N/A
- Ruth (8/5): Good time - Very nice bedroom which kept cool, despite the really hot weather. Nice to have some outdoor seating and a little backyard too. Fairly quiet and private. Very clean. The bathroom was very small and somewhat dark. It could be improved with a shower curtain, I feel. Also, the provision of a tea towel would help, for a solo traveller, as there are not enough dishes to fill the dishwasher.
- Giovanni (10/5): -
- Danut (10/5): Perfect - Nice and close to the city, plenty of cheap parkings around
- Madeleine (8/5): Would stay agai - A lovely flat with all the amenities you could need, clean and fantastic neighbourhood
- Katherine (3/5): Good location needs a bit of work - Central location. Quiet road Not ready when turned up. Hot tap running full on continuously heating didn't work was freezing cold.not great for more than 2 people as have to walk through lounge to toilet
- Hayley (8/5): Very good - Location, space, clean and comfortable Nothing to dislike really but the shower room is snug
- Karen (8/5): Great value for money - The apartment was very clean , the bedroom a lovely size and the bed was very comfortable. Everything I need was there and so close to the station. Also I couldn't believe just how peaceful it was there. I didn't really like the bathroom it was very small. And I know this is probably just me being stupid but I could have done with some instructions on how to put the heating on .
- Bush (10/5): Perfect space for a couple in north London - Very convenient location , private and spacious Hacing an iron , could also use an ironing board
- Jasmine (10/5): Perfect - The tv had multiple streaming services. It was clean and well organised. We were able to adjust the temperature which was great because of the weather. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing that I didn’t like was the placement of the bathroom being in the kitchen.
- Bush (10/5): Exceptional - Very well located to public transport, as well as the living spaces and given facilities, all top
- Steve (1/5): Bad - Not clean and really not worth the price paid
- Grace (5/5): Grim but good location - Very near the tube, safe area. The mattress was comfortable. Flat was always warm when is nice in December. The bathroom is a CRIME AGAINST HUMANS. Seriously. The bathroom is tiny, the tiles are cracked and covered in mold. The shower is awful, the temperature runs from freezing to scalding and you've to duck in and out in-between these moments. And the cheap £3 shower curtain was caked in mold. The whole bathroom and kitchen stinks of mold. The sink was dirty and plug hole was damaged.
The mattress is comfy but the quilt is too small for it, its a double on a king bed. We searched for a duvet cover to put on the spare quilt but the sheets were in the washing machine (unwashed and covered in blood!)
The bedside lights don't work and as mentioned by other guests the steps leading down to the front door are broken and dangerous. The chair in the living room is very uncomfortable and the beige sofa needs to be cleaned.
In short. The flat is very tired and run down and in need of urgent renovation.
- Edwards (4/5): The apartment was comfortable enough, but the bathroom facility was in need of a deep clean. - The cleaner hadn't left the keys ready for us so we had to wait around before we could check in.
- Nadia (6/5): functional enough for a nights stay - easy with a lock box
mostly tidy and open
close to tube station which is great for us
it was functional enough a few things weren’t quite things I feel hadn’t been checked like whether lamps work
didn’t seem to be any hot water
couldn’t make the sofa into a sofa just set out as a single bed
plug so led sparked near the window
remote control batteries were low
the kettle really need a good descale it smelt too
bathroom
was not a good smell at all stagnant snd hair in plug
- Staicu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (6/5): Could have been a 5* rating except for the stairs and bathroom - The flat is a great size, both bedroom, lounge/diner and kitchen of really good size.
The is plenty of hanging space and the bed was really comfortable.
The lounge was big enough to accommodate a fold down bed/sette, chairs, dining room table and did not feel cluttered.
The kitchen is huge and there is every conceivable appliance too, including washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher Again, like the previous property I stayed in via Booking.com, there needs to be a welcome pack explaining how to actually use all the appliances including the T.V and, more importantly the heating.
The worst parts were the steps down to the flat and the bathroom.
The steps are lethal. They are crumbling away, slippery, very steep and the hand rail is far too low.
Tiles have broken off, and it would appear that this was quite awhile ago.
The bathroom though is TERRIBLE
Considering the size of the other 3 rooms, this seems to be an after thought.
It reeks of damp.
The grouting is mouldy
The toilet seat is the wrong size and doesn't fit properly.
The shower is extremely complicated to operate.
The shower doesn't work properly anyway and would appear to be something the early stone age people would use.
There is no water pressure and the water runs from freezing cold to boiling hot even though the boiler is within feet of it.
Finally, it so small, you can only just turn around.
The kitchen.
There is a gas cooker but the oven door doesn't shut properly, there are no indicators on the oven knobs so you gave no clue what the temperature is.
- Anita (10/5): comfortable - good location, spacious, well equipped. Coffee maker, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher. Everything is there.
- Landis (10/5): Fantastic! -
- Rabmac (1/5): Bad - Could not gain access to key box,
not properties faul.
- Hoyos (10/5): Great property, really clean - Excelent property really close to tufnell park station
- Cathy (7/5): Good - Communication from the host was excellent
- Jane (6/5): Perfect for our one night stay but itobably eoukd try somewhere else next time - Very clean accommodation
Easy Parking Shower not easy to control
Blinds in front bedroom could be better
- Marek (9/5): A good balance between location and price - Very good location, close to the metro, the area and surroundings were quiet and safe. When we reported a technical problem in the apartment it was quickly fixed - the owner was very responsive. The apartment was clean and with good quality equipment.
- Andrew (9/5): Very pleasant stay! - Owner responsive and helpful. Apartment clean and well fitted and provided for.
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donna (9/5): Superb - Host was great any help we needed they was straight on it and complaints they fixed it straight away. Near shops, friendly area, very clean apartment WiFi was broke but host fixed the problem ASAP
- Jo (5/5): Passable - Location was excellent Front door didn’t feel very secure, but it seemed like a safe neighbourhood so possibly not really an issue.
Main problem was the noise from upstairs - constant loud noise from first thing until late at night. Can’t imagine what they were doing but it was so sustained it felt like it had to be intentional.
Sofa bed was very uncomfortable.
Finally, there was a weird smell coming from the bathroom/kitchen area - almost smelled like gas which was a bit worrying.
- Simon (5/5): Great location, not 100% comfortable, could be cleaner. - Visiting family nearby and night out at Coliseum. The location is excellent, with tube and shops nearby. Quiet street. Host communication excellent. Great connection into central London. Clean fresh linen and sofa bed made up- thank you. Not overly clean, very poor attention to details and finish. Clearly, this was a quick makeover to maximise income eg tiling unfinished behind cooker, poor paint finish, paintings on floor still not hung, plastic film still on TV etc .
Sofa bed was unusable- 5ft long, hard and incredibly uncomfortable, not even a child could have used this, on of the worst nights sleep ever! No microwave. Dust thick on fake coal fire, broken steps down to the flat area trip hazard.
- D (8/5): very good - All good many thanks, cooker door needs fixing everything else perfect
- Lisa (7/5): Good - It was clean & comfortable Very basic
