- Joanne (10/5): Divine! - Tell Tales Review
To host a stranger in your home is the origin of hospitality. It is not just providing comfort and food, it is the art of putting people at ease and feeling welcomed. Debbie and Lee are masters at the art of hospitality. They make their guests feel, not just welcomed but valued and cared for. Any small request will be met with enthusiasm and exceeds expectation. From the delicious breakfast in the magical dining tram to the fascinating collection of books, there is much to explore. The alpacas are delightful companions and I was blessed to watch baby Plovers hatch. Even the birdlife know Tall Tales is a safe and nurturing wonderland. Thank you Debbie and Lee for making the world a better place. You are not just running a business you are restoring people’s faith in humanity and the sometimes fading art of true hospitality.

- Steve (10/5): Beautiful property, exceptional hosts, would highly recommend. - From the moment we arrived Debbie & Lee welcomed us to their beautiful property. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the little extras on arrival (eg. Danish, chocolate and fresh iced water) added to the experience. Breakfast was fantastic, and made even more enjoyable by the location, a refurbished vintage Melbourne tram, which included a sitting area and library. We stayed for 2 nights, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, break.

Just got home from an amazing weekend at Tell Tales bed and breakfast!
The Mystique room is decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean.
There are amazing hosts, and then there are Debbie and Lee. Words can’t describe the generosity and kindness of this amazing couple. Two of the most down to earth and warm people we have ever met. We arrived as guests and came away feeling like we have been friends for years.
Breakfasts were beautiful and enjoyed in the tram, which was a completely unique and wonderful experience in itself.
Feeding the alpacas was one of the many highlights of our stay. We highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
- Jana (10/5): Unique and unforgettable - Everything was great - we got such a warm welcome! The room has a really huge and comfortable bed, a bathroom with very soft towels and kitchen equipment. There was coffee and fruit left for our stay and cold water, the fridge was also filled with cold drinks and so on, we never had before and it showed again with how much love the owner runs the B&B. There is also a huge yard around and you can watch different birds and parrots. Do not miss having breakfast in the tram - what an experience. We got fresh fruit, yogurt, ham and eggs … juice !Books and puzzles invite to stay. There are so many details and every little corner is made with love - watch my pictures, maybe you can a feeling and understand. We are so thankful about meeting and staying and recommend it totally .

The old Melbourne tram set up on the property was a great place to enjoy our perfectly cooked breakfast the next morning.
Well worth the overnight price and would definetly stay here again.
Thank you Bradley and Ann-Maree
