Leider ist der Kühltresen im Frühstücksraum, in dem Butter, Wurst und Käse dargeboten werden immer noch so laut, wenn er anspringt, dass man sich in unmittelbarer Nähe dazu nicht mehr unterhalten und sein Frühstück genießen kann!

(7/5): Licht und Schatten... - Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit vielfältigem und frischem Angebot Sehr ruhige Lage im alten Ortskern Sehr freundliches, aufgeschlossenes und kundenorientiertes Personal Sauber Ausstattung des Zimmers (keine Minibar/Kühlmöglichkeit, keine Kaffeemaschine, Kein Wasserkocher) Die Matrazen der Betten sind sehr sehr weich (nicht alt und durchgelegen, wie viele sagen, sondern einfach nur sehr weich) Diverse elektrische Einrichtungen funktionierten nicht (Hauptstromschalter, eine Nachttischlampe) - wurde aber vom Personal aufgenommen (vielleicht ist es beim nächsetn Mal repariert ;-)) Glasschiebetür ohne Schallisolierung zum Bad direkt neben dem Bett Terrasse und Zimmerausrichtung (bodentiefe Fenster) direkt am Hotelparkplatz (1 bis 1,5 m Abstand, Trennung durch Hecke) - fast ein Aufenthalt auf der Straße....

Although we didn’t eat in the restaurant the menu was very good The bed was very comfortable with good pillows The room was nice and a really good size but had a very poor view of a heating duct and the noise from kitchen could be heard at 11pm. The shower tray was very slippy

It’s stylish, absolutely spotless, very friendly and personal staff - you feel this is a professionally run place where staff delivers excellent service in a naturally genuine way. Beds/room were wonderful; clean, comfortable and inviting. Perfect and big breakfast with great choice and quality produce. It felt like the most perfect place we have ever visited in Germany in our travel through the country. In addition, it’s located in a charming little village in beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t believe our luck to have found this little gem - and will definitely return. Thanks for running such a wonderful hotel!

Martin (4/5): The names studio / apartment do not correspond to their equipment. - Studios/apartments are ordinary rooms. There is no kitchen, fridge or kettle in them. When I asked about the equipment of the studios/apartments jus after boking, the hotel replied that kitchens and refrigerators are in all the studios/apartments I ordered, even though this equipment is not in the description. Only one of the apartments had a kitchen and a refrigerator. Call ordinary rooms like apartments and studios is at least misleading. Internet speed was very low.
Kostya_la_roche (9/5): Overall, a pleasant experience, 9+. - Cozy small hotel in the center of the commune. There is also a restaurant in the building. There is free parking. The staff is very friendly. Overall, I was left with a pleasant impression. The only strange thing is that they take payment not before checking into the room, but upon check-out. This surprised me) 1. Strange lighting system in the room. Unfortunately, until the end of my stay, I still didn’t figure out where the switches were. LOL. 2. There is not always staff at the reception desk. As I understand it, this is more of a restaurant than a hotel. The hotel there is like an addition to the restaurant. Perhaps that's why. 3. Not very comfortable shower stall. A little tight for a large person. 4. Not all staff speak English. At 10 am the cleaning lady knocked on the room. I didn’t want to open it, but she knocked persistently, so I ended up leaving and still didn’t understand what she wanted. I think the towels should be changed, but I'm not sure. Since she didn’t know English, and I only know a couple of sentences in German.
Nells (9/5): Superb - Wonderful hotel and staff. The best location in town. We had an apartment with 2 bedrooms. Although the building from the outside has the charming Fachwerk look, it's completely renovated inside. All modern amenities you need, very clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was spectacular, local ingredients, variety and quality. The staff was great! I'll definitely be back. A minor point - the couch in the living room is really hard. Not very comfortable to sit.

Astrid (8/5): staying in the heart of Bad Essen - special local atmosphere nice SPA, but no place outside
Martina (7/5): Good - We stayed often before- this time the room was not great - over the air conditioning - warm and smelly .. other rooms have been much better !
