Guest Reviews
- Polly (10/5): Excellent - The property was lovely, clean and beautifully decorated. It’s in a great location with the tube a couple on mins away and great food everywhere.
My friend left something behind and they went above and beyond to get the item back to her.
I highly recommend this property for your London stay and I will definitely be booking it for my next stay.
- Hichem Aden (10/5): GREAT CHOICE - AMAZING HOST, SPACIOUS, GREAT LOCATION, VERY NICE, CONFORTABLE, WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED, QUITE AND CLEAN, ABSOLUTELY A GOOD EXPERIENCE ONE ANTIQUE CLOSET IN THE LIVING ROOM HAS A BIT OF HUMIDITY SMELL, SO FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGY AGAINST HUMIDITY, IT MIGHT BE A BIT OF A PROBLEM IF YOU STAY IN FRONT OF THE TV A LOT, OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT
- Burkhard (10/5): Perfect two-bedroom aparment for a stay in London. - The hosts were tremendous. Karolina responded quickly when we had a question and was really helpful in general. Her messages were always super friendly and made us feel like we could write to somebody and get help, if anything actually did go wrong (which it didn't, we mostly just asked stupid questions, the kind you write when you're on your expensive holiday for the year and are a bit too keen for things to go smoothly 😅).
The pictures in the listing are way oversaturated, but if you can tone down the colours in your mind, it does actually look like the pictures. It‘s lovingly furnished, spacious and welcoming. If I understood correctly, the owners are sometimes living there, which means you can find everything you need, like skillets, a bit of salt, olive oil, dishwasher tabs —everything you need for everyday living. This is definitely not standard in rentable flats anymore.
It was cozy, the bathroom is nice, you actually have a bit of room in the shower (we haven‘t used the tub to take a bath). While you can only tilt the windows slightly, you get good airflow on the 4th floor and have fresh air again in no time.
We haven‘t tried the TV, so cannot attest to what channels you get, but WiFi was working fine.
We also loved that it was so close to the Tube. You can only get the District and Hammersmith&City Line from Aldgate East, but it‘s really enough for most things and you can get pretty much anywhere, with only changing once. And Heathrow is also reachable with just one change. (Or directly, if you walk to Whitechapel for 12 min.)
After long days with lots of walking, lots of sweating on the Underground or getting chilly in the rain, it was really nice to have a place to come home to that was welcoming and comfortable. Take a shower and unwind on the couch with a cup of tea, nothing more you can ask for. I guess if you really wanted to find something, one of the sofas is kinda lain through, but we found it comfortable nonetheless. And we can kinda see where some of the comments are coming from about the area/neighbourhood, but we felt perfectly save.

- Annika (10/5): Perfect stay for our Christmas Holiday! - We had an amazing time at this accommodation! The hosts, Tamara and Karolina are incredibly welcoming and surprised us with a Christmas tree! We even had the chance to decorate the tree together, making it a highlight of our trip.
The location is perfect, just a short walk from Brick Lane and close to the Tube, making it super convenient for getting around London.
The apartment is beautifully decorated. We were a group of five and had enough space. The sofa bed even came with an extra topper, which made it very comfortable. We also enjoyed cooking dinner in the well-equipped kitchen one evening, which was a great experience. The only minor downside was that the knives in the kitchen were quite dull which made food prep a bit challenging. But honestly, that’s the only issue I could think of, which really speaks to how great everything was.
We would absolutely stay here again on any future visit to London.
- Ivano (10/5): Exceptional - My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Karolina’s apartment in London! From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, professional, and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Karolina showed us the apartment and made sure that we felt welcome and had everything we needed during our stay.
The apartment itself was immaculate, well-appointed, and exactly as described—if not better. It’s clear that Karolina takes great care of the property, as it was spotless, cozy, and very well equipped. The location was perfect, with easy access to local amenities, restaurant and transportation (underground sation Aldgate East is just 100 away), which made getting around the city a breeze.
Karolina’s attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our stay memorable. I would highly recommend her as a host to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in London. We would definitely stay here again!
Thank you, Karolina, for such a fantastic experience!
