• Melanie (6/5): It fit our budget, and the location was great. - The unit is spacious and had lots of room. I liked the family room at the back with extra bed and pullout trundle. The location was great, 15 minc to downtown. We love the bidet toilet. It is a basement apartment and there is a family living upstairs with children. You can hear them talking and walking, sometimes loudly. The unit itself needs a paint job, and the decor is nice but done cheaply. There is also a damp, moldy type smell so a dehumidifier would certainly help.
• Michelle (6/5): Not as restful as we wanted. - It was a great location and the road outside was not busy at all. I appreciated the communication with the host. The rooms are not sound proof at all. We didn’t find out until the day before our arrival that the property had tenants with children upstairs. Kids should play and squeal and have fun, but we would have picked a different location if we had known. We could hear them word for word. Also the blinds did not block out the lights from the street or the security lights that came on periodically in the driveway. It felt very much like a finished basement as opposed to a rental suite.
• Kristina (9/5): Definitely would stay again. - Quite a spacious apartment with 3 beds and 2 bathrooms so appreciated that I did not need to share bed with a family member! (Family of 4). Clean rooms and bathrooms. Good location in a pretty neighbourhood and close to city centre by a car or public transport - Skytrain stop nearby. Clear instructions for self check-in. It was a little too chilly in the apartment although it was hot outside, and when it started raining it got a too cold for my liking inside.
