• IULIIA (10/5): Супер локация! - Отличное расположение отеля! Большинство главных достопримечательностей расположены в шаговой доступности. Можно не брать такси, а прогулочным шагом дойти до нужной локации и в процессе знакомиться с атмосферой города. Уборка номера производилась ежедневно. Чистые комфортные балкончики, где можно вечерами посидеть на свежем воздухе и отдохнуть. Отзывчивый и доброжелательный персонал, всегда готовы помочь в разрешении любого возникшего вопроса.

• Joanna Hui Ling (10/5): Great! Will return. - The hotel was not by the main road so it’s relatively quiet. The service was excellent and the staff was attentive. For travelers going to SaPa by train/bus at 10pm, the hotel can arrange for a day tour to Ha Long Bay on your check out date, return to the hotel by 8pm to shower before you head to the train station. -

Ilmastointilaitteiden koneita oli vain yksi mutta kuitenkin 2 tuuletinta, jotka oli säädetty eri lämpötiloille. Eli kun löysimme toiseen huoneeseen sopivan lämpötilan, oli toisessa huoneessa yllättäen liian kylmä. Tai toisinpäin.

• Kirsty (10/5): Great find. Really happy to recommend and would use again for sure. - Great location (one street back from the fabulous chaos of Hanoi!). We could walk to all the tourist spots such as the lake, train street etc (we like to walk but easy enough to get a Grab if you did want) Staff were super friendly and helpful. We arrived at 630am off the overnight train and were basically dumping our gear and off to Ha Long Bay. They let us have a shower and breakfast (we switched days) which is another hotel just round the corner (like 100m if that) and then put our suitcases in our room for when we returned. We had a family room for 3 of us which was superb. Lots of space, decent beds, lovely bathroom with really decent shower, big balcony and even a sofa area. Breakfast was great. We had massages and they were awesome too. The receptionist gave us advice around train street (5 mins walk away) and also booked us a taxi for Hanoi airport. Am being very picky and not a major though as soon as we had the massages the masseuses were onto us before we even got dressed regarding a tip and it didn’t feel like you could say no. They were great and deserved it and appreciate why they are doing it though it just took the edge of what was otherwise a fabulous massage (and yes we did tip!)

• Heidi (10/5): A Small hotel with a big value - It's a very small boutique hotel. on a side alley. I think there are only 3 rooms per floor. My room had a hot water maker with coffee and tea and cups in a tree. There were nice things in the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and the the other things that are not necessarily there anymore, like qtips, shower cap etc. The staff was super nice, they took us to the breakfast in the morning. Also the shower was nice, with a rain and a regular showerhead.

Highly reccome - The facilities and the room were extremely clean and confortable. the room had plenty of space too . The staff and the service was the best. we arrived there earlier than the check in time, but they still provided us with a temporary room in which to shower and change in after the long flight to Hanoi.A few days after, when we found ourselves in Hanoi for a transfer, we did not have a Booking with them but they still allowed us to stay in their lobby to wait for our bus to arrive. Their shuttle service to the airport was really useful too. Highly reccomend. Everything was absolitely lovely and the staff went above and beyond to accomodate our needs. I have no complaints.
• Avigail (8/5): Would recommend the place to others and definitely worth the money - The room was spacey, close to a lot of restaurants, stores, and spas. Very convenient! It was also nice that they gave us new towels and water bottles for free every day. All the concierge was very helpful every time we needed assistance. It was difficult to carry our luggages up or down the stairs to reach the entrance. Aside from that, everything was great!

Wij kregen al maanden voor onze aankomst het whatsapp nr zodat we vragen konden stellen voor als we die hadden, ook stuurde ze een filmpje van de kamer zodat we een goed beeld kregen Er was ook het weekend vanaf 7.30am geluidsoverlast omdat de buren naast het hotel een grote verbouwing hebben. Dat was erg jammer, maar niet iets waar het hotel aan konden doen.

The massage at the spa wasn't the best I've had. Great nail girl but they asked for a tip on the survey form at the end of the session and I didn't bring spare cash so that was a little awkward.

Les chambres sont très petites, on s’y sent vite à l’étroit, avec d’humidité. Les murs étaient sales et l’ensemble manque clairement d’entretien : les finitions font assez “cheap” et peu soignées. Au vu de la qualité globale, les prix sont excessifs et ne valent pas la prestation proposée.

As indicated earlier, the breakfast is partnered with some other hotel at the back and is extremely dirty. Not only the location but even the breakfast itself is very low quality.

• Jacqui (8/5): Lovely hotel for the price, convenient location and good amenities. - Hotel is excellent value for the price, rooms are as advertised and lovely and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast at the neighbouring hotel was very nice quality with plenty of choice. The were only a few things we didn’t like the main one was that in our family room the lift opens directly into the room and you can get in the lift and go down to the lobby without a key card. I feel this is something that needs to be stated on the room information as it’s a very serious risk when travelling with young children. Beside that our basin was severely cracked and the shower flooded after a few minutes but not major problems for a 3 star hotel at a very reasonable rate. The beds are very hard but this is pretty normal for Asia so is expected.

The location was great for wandering around the old quarter. The staff were exceptional. They were professional and friendly and went above and beyond to help us with the kids. I big thank you to Daisy and Dillan for holding our baby everyday while we ate the great breakfast buffet. When we are back in Hanoi we will stay here again!

• Gayle (9/5): Great place to stay in the Old Quarter - The hotel was a hidden gem located in a quite side street and just around the corner from all the hectic activity of the old quarter. The facilities were modern but the real plus was the attitudes of the staff who were wonderful. Amanda and Ruby, in particular always made themselves available and we're happy to offer advice and tips on practically any subject related to our stay. The doormen deserve a special mention, always on hand to help and open doors. All in all we had a fabulous stay at the Calista and would recommend this hotel. N/a

The location was excellent and made it easy to get around, with plenty of things within walking distance. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience and made check-in and day-to-day interactions smooth and pleasant. • Sérgio (5/5): Is not 4 stars - What I really liked about this hotel was the bed, it is large and very comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep, I also liked the shower, it is spacious with both hot and cold water and allows you to easily adjust the temperature, and the location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit the main attractions of the city, I also appreciated some of the staff, especially a few of the guys I spoke with, although not all of them. Honestly, I was quite disappointed with this hotel due to several issues. First, the elevator opens directly into the room. While this might seem convenient, it creates a lack of privacy, as there is a real risk that another guest could call the elevator at the same time and it would open directly into your room, exposing the entire space. Second, the room I paid for is located in an area with a lot of external light. Because of the position of the window and nearby lighting, the lights outside are only turned off around midnight, and then turned back on at around 6 a.m. This means you only have about six hours of real darkness, which makes it very uncomfortable if you want to sleep earlier. Another issue was the air conditioning unit, which was very dirty. I will attach photos to show this. The installation also appears unfinished, with an open hole where the unit is placed and visible wires inside, which does not feel safe or properly maintained. In addition, the overall finishing of the room is poor and does not correspond at all to a four-star hotel. I have stayed in much better hotels in Vietnam. Finally, I had a negative experience with one staff member when I asked for help to make a phone call to change my flight. Normally, hotels assist with this kind of request, but she refused, saying they could not make the call and that it had to be done by me, even though I only needed assistance to contact the airline. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay at all and I believe you can find much better hotels in the city for the same price.

Ils nous avaient réservé un taxi pour aller à Sapa, tout s'est bien passé, conducteur ponctuel et prudent. Le petit déjeuner se prend dans la rue perpendiculaire, il est copieux. La chambre vieillotte avec deux lits, dont l'un encombre inutilement la chambre. Le grand lit est collé au mur, son accès est donc difficile. Pas de table de nuit pour ce lit. Déçus, Ce n'est pas ce que nous avions réservé. Mauvais rapport qualité prix pour cette chambre en comparaison des autres hôtels ou nous avons séjourné.

• Khensani (8/5): Great stay, breakfast needs major improvement! - It’s central and quiet enough! Right around the corner from the main street and a 2 minute walk from train street! The staff were so fabulous and extremely kind and helpful! The breakfast is not impressive at all! I would actually rather not eat breakfast at the hotel It’s the only let down for the hotel. We asked for a breakfast pack and they gave us a slice of bread, butter, jam, a boiled egg and a banana! If I knew I would have not bothered!

• Sophie (10/5): - Very central but on a side road outside of the hustle and bustle so not noisy. The staff were very kind and professional. The breakfast buffet was very basic.
• Su Hui (9/5): Spacious room - The room is spacious and beautifully decorated. Beds are comfortable. Breastfast is nice. Staff are helpful. The toilet floor is slippery when wet, better to have anti-slip mat.
• Stephen (7/5): Well placed location for an overnight stay in Hanoi - The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Organised airport transfers which worked very well. Gave us a free room upgrade (never before had a room that was a whole floor of a building!!) It’s a budget 3* hotel, so you get what you pay for.

• Okojima (8/5): The reception desk was very helpful to figure out what tour I could get on on the day of! They also helped me get a ride - It sits off the busy street so even though the traffic noise was high around me hotel, my room was very quiet My room was nicely upgraded due to my booking.com status but my room had a very funny configuration where the toilet was difficult to get to. Also I didn’t understand that there were almost identical hotels around the corner. I walked to the breakfast area of the other room.

• Denis (10/5): - We stayed for 7 nights broken up in between trips. This hotel is a gem. Many thanks to the wonderful staff who remembered us so well every time we returned and set us up quickly for check in. Great location and very comfortable and QUIET! THANKS AGAIN for a wonderful stay!
