Upon check-in, guests must pay a one-time Student/Youth resort fee of USD 30. Charges apply for adults between 18 and 25 years old staying from February to April. The policy is mandatory, per person, and not refundable. Cash only.
Credit cards issued to people other than guests (i.e., parents, spouses, etc.) are not accepted in Mexico.
Student/youth policy (year-round) student/youth Travelers are defined as any guest 24 years of age and younger traveling without a legal parent/guardian, and is applicable at all Oasis properties year-round. Generally, the Grand Oasis Cancún will be the only property accepting student/youth (not applicable to family travel).
Any guests meeting the above definition of student/youth traveler are subject to the following conditions:

-mensen lieten overal eten en rommel staan. Werd ook niet door personeel (snel) opgeruimd. Overlast van vogels die restjes opeten (vooral op het strand)
-Zwembadwater erg vies
-Weinig opties voor cocktails en niet echt lekker
-Weinig bedjes aan het strand. Werden ‘s ochtends al handdoekjes gelegd.

El hotel es pequeño pero eso hace que puedas conocerlo completamente. HABITACIÓN: el aire suena mucho, se sentía el piso pegajoso, la tv solo es por cable no es smart, el teléfono no funcionaba, se iba el volumen, la regadera estaba muy rara , salía un chorro directo como fijo, y el estilo es muy antiguo todo es muy viejo, lo rescatable de la habitación es el agua caliente, las camas suaves, cómodas y las cortinas blackout.
COMIDA: el buffet principal casi siempre tenía los alimentos vacíos, no rellenaban constantemente, en el restaurante de pizza manejan 2 platillos pizza y pasta y los tres dias que estuve solo hubo pizza, no tenían pasta.
El restaurante bite que tambien es buffet servían lo mismo que el buffet principal pero con mas surtido y en el makitaco de comida oriental se requiere reserva pero esta muy rico y cómodo.
PERSONAL: recepción regular te atienden rápido y sin hacerte sentir agusto, los botones si son muy amables, el personal de entretenimiento es muy divertido y amable, los bares te dan opciones y son muy gentiles a pesar de tener siempre mucha gente, debes hacer fila en el bar de la alberca, pero te sugiero ir al bar de la playa ese siempre esta vacío por la distancia que deber recorrer para llegar.
El hotel en general esta bien, si tu plan es algo familiar, tranquilo y sin gastar mucho.

No disfrute mi cena por tener a una familia con el volumen de su teléfono a todo lo que da viendo su TikTok. Los pasillos del lobby y los elevadores estaban empapados y encharcados por no secarse antes de entrar al lobby. Sería de muy mala suerte resbalar e incapacitarse en las vacaciones por culpa de gente sin educación.
- Yodalys (4/5): Decepcionada - El restaurante La hacienda excelente, fue el único que pudimos usar. Ya que nunca, pudimos reservar en los restaurantes a la carta. Y el barco pirata para los niños. No nos limpiaron la habitación, el aire no funcionaba fueron a repararlo y no pudimos descansar. La cafetera no servía.
El taxi que tomamos saliendo del hotel, fue una horrible experiencia, no tenía Aire el conductor sufría de temblores en las manos, casi nos accidentamos, le joven del staff del hotel le preguntó si tenía para cobrar por tarjeta ya que no teníamos efectivo y dijo que si, y cuando llegamos al aeropuerto no tenía máquina y se negaba a aceptar que nos había dicho que si.

The all inclusive bracelets had a tag to open your room. Very handy as you didn't have to bring a card along.
The room was spacious and clean and had small amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful in all areas.
There is a wide variety of food in the buffet and it's very good. The food in the a la carte restaurants was great as well. The other bars were also good and the coffee and ice cream bar was great.
We had no issues with making reservations for the restaurants.
As we had our room in the Sens part, we usually stayed at the pool and beach side of The Sens which seemed less crowded than the Grand Oasis part.
In general the whole Sens part was less crowded than the Grand Oasis part was. Even if we entered the beach only at 10 am, we were able to secure beach chairs. No seaweed issue here.
As we only had a room in The Sens, we were not allowed to go to some restaurants, bars and the Spa as those were 'Sens only'.
The gym was very spacious and the best I have ever seen in a hotel.
It's very spacious and better equipped than the average gymclub.
They have a superb kids club. Very active and diverse. Crafting, playing, swimming and so on and they even take care of the lunch.
The shows and activities in the hotel were also nice.
Incl. The pirate ship.
We were very satisfied with our stay already but on our way home, at the airport we faced a long delay with our flight and we were brought to another hotel (Emporio) where we stayed approx. 20 hours. This hotel was on our shortlist, but we were very happy that we didn't choose this hotel after all, as the Grand Oasis was better in basically all aspects in our opinion.
We would like to come back to this hotel. There were some occasional queues at the buffet restaurants and bars, but not that bad.
We stayed here in the off-peak season and that was fine. Crowded as expected, but not that bad.
However we would definitely not like to be here during peak season. I think that it can become pretty chaotic and very overcrowded.
We didn't like the 'too active' sales agents in some parts of the hotel.

Dos garçons que atendem nas refeições, muitos mal educados e mal humorados, parecem que estão fazendo um esforço e favor grande para trabalhar, tem que dar um bom treinamento de novo para esse pessoal. A higiene também, muitos dos que repõem as comidas principalmente as frutas eu vi colocarem as mãos nas comidas como as frutas que caem fora dos bowls. Faltam talheres e quardanapos no buffet.

- TRIVIÑO RINCON (2/5): Regular el servicio - las habitaciones, muy limpias y cómodas terrible el servicio de el restaurante, yo reserve para el oasis palm y me hospedaron en el sens, pero ese no fue el problema, cuando llegamos nos dijeron que se podía comer en cualquiera de los restaurantes y cuando fuimos a comer en uno de los de ese lado que no que teníamos que ir al otro lado, empezando un recorrido muy largo y adicional las filas son demasiado largas mas de 10 a 15 minutos para poder entrar y contando que el servicio de los meseros es pésimo y son poco amables... Quede muy desilusionada de eso y de ese servicio... No volvería a este hotel

Vi comentarios negativos de la comida, pero la verdad que hay bastantes opciones en el buffet y está buena. Lo mejor es el buffet La Hacienda y el Bites, los otros restaurantes como el Makitaco y Cocoa dejan mucho que desear. Por favor pónganle una sombrita al bartender que está en la barra de la alberca!!
Nos instalamos en Oasis Palm, que es la parte del hotel más viejita, y se nota. Las camas y almohadas eran incómodas, el baño deja mucho que desear… la regadera antigua y estaba llena de sarro y óxido.
Las ventanas no sellan bien.
No es un hotel para descansar; hay mucho ruido todo el día y las habitaciones dan a la zona de la alberca y por la noche huéspedes ponen bocinas en esa zona, por lo que no se descansa bien, se escucha todo.

Chambre très humide, air climatisé très bruyante, verres et tables sales, nourriture sans goût et pas appétissant à l'oeil, peu de choix de boisson.

- Karla Alejandra (4/5): Mala experiencia - El mar ahí es tranquilo y la mayoría del personal es amable. Los elevadores muy pequeños, solo dos para todo el complejo, sin aire acondicionado. Demasiado tiempo de espera para poder usarlos. Las habitaciones con much detalles, el hotel estaba lleno y el personal no era suficiente para atender, la comida mala e igualmente se acababa y tardaban en poner más. Las reservas para los restaurantes de especialidad mal llevadas, hubo uno que nunca pudimos ir y eso que hacía el intento de reserva a primera hora de la mañana. Muy pocos camastros en la playa para el recinto tan lleno, colas y colas para todo y eso es porque el personal era poco para tanta gente.

Wenn man über Buking Bucht, werden die Kinder im Preis nicht Berücksichtigt.
Ich musste vor Ort nochmal fast 1000 US Dollar für meine 2 Kinder bezahlen. Und das für 4 Tage. Obwohl ich über Booking die Anzahl der Kinder angegeben habe und bezahlt habe.
Der Kundenservice von Booking hat mich komplett im Stich gelassen und nicht geholfen.
Im Hotel ist man mir überhaupt nicht entgegen gekommen. Sie haben stur den vollen Preis verlangt. Stornieren konnte ich auch nicht, da ichbdie Unterkunft bei der Buchung bereits bezahlt hatte.
Jetzt habe ich das Hotelzimmer doppelt bezahlt.
Und das in einer schlechten Lage und einem mittelmäßigen Essen.
Nie wieder werde ich dieses Hotel betreten.

Se hacían juegos de playa ,fútbol, voley y los animadores unos genios,los chicos la pasaron muy bien también.
Además hay buena disponibilidad de reposeras no hay pelea por eso . Que a partir de las 23 hs no hay un bar o el pool abierto para seguir un rato más.

They just try to get more money in any way, they don’t let you eat at the “best” restaurants if you don’t pay the upgrade black wristband they food is the same every single day believe me, I paid a lot money for 2 rooms and they didn’t let me get the communicating room for me and my daughters. - 00632898e5557334654bbf6e3b283293 (6/5): Normal - O hotel tem uma academia ótima, o quarto também é bom e o hotel tem uma boa localização. O mar é calmo. Resort pequeno e poucas opções/variedades de alimentação e o que tinha não era tão bom, quem vai no intuito de descansar esse não é o melhor local, pois é bem movimentado. Além do mais no complexo tem outro hotel e eles fazem destinçao por cor de pulseiras, quem fica no Oásis não pode acessar algumas coisas de quem está no Gran Oásis. A água do chuveiro também era bem fraquinha.

The property is old, you can noticed when you look to the rooms. No small fridge in the room (something normal in resorts), frequently they couldn’t handle the amount of people and you’ll need to do a line for breakfast, dinner, etc and in general the personnel is not that friendly, most of the time I have to make a self service for beverages because nobody will take care of my table. Also, the washrooms didn’t look neat… there’s a lot of negative things I could related but I just mentioned the main ones.

- Samatar (8/5): The overall experience was good. The entertainment was very fun. - Ocean view, beach, and pool. Most of the staff were helpful and welcoming. The coffee shops were nice and had ice cream for kids. The food was decent. The options were many, but the food quality lacked flavor. At one station, the guy making tacos set the pork and chicken in the same big bowl. Mixing meat is wrong. Also, some of the staff, when you ask them to help you find a place, give you confusing directions instead of walking you there. After multiple phone calls to the desk, I had to go down to ask for towels.

The interior at the entrance lobby was great, courteous front desk and room service staff. I would not recommend booking excursions through hotel, prices are high and they dont tell you about all the extra charges you have to pay at excursion. i bought an excursion for 350usd and then i had to pay 200 usd which i wasnt aware of. That was quite disappointing.
- Bruna (6/5): The experience could be better - It’s close to everything, the room space and view was nice. Very clean. The restaurants should be scheduled on the app I was there for 2 nights and not able to schedule the restaurants, everything was full. The other restaurants that don’t need to schedule had long lines for dinner, we wait around 40 min to get sit. Some staff doesn’t really want to help (only 2 employees wasn’t nice). I few the hotel has low staff working for the season, everything has long lines, to get drink, to have dinner, to check in and check out.

Pero vas al restaurante y comprando una botella de vino de $1000 rápido te hacen un lugar en el restaurante vacío.

- Oscar (7/5): Todo muy normal y pocas cosas que hacer dentro del hotel - Ubicacion, acceso a la playa, horarios amplios de comida, atencion en general del personal es buena pero podria ser mejor.
Las actividades de la noche en el teatro en general fue de lo mejor Cobros que no estaban claros en la reserva al momento del check in, los asesores de tours solo buscan como sacarte dinero de una u otra forma sin importar el bienestar del huesped, incluso cobrando de mas de lo real.
Lo unico que habia para hacer ademas de playa y piscina era el billar y las arcades que estan en un estado terrible, literal ya se caen a pedazos.
- Victoria (6/5): Instalaciones buenas en the sens, del lado del oasis regular a malo todo. - En realidad al llegar me dieron un upgrade: habitación en THE SENS, q es el hotel hermano de mayor categoría. Agradecida. Las habitaciones hermosas, modernas, limpias, todo super cómodo. Minibar surtido, cafetera en la habitación. Hermoso. La pileta muy grande, vistosa, frente a la playa tipo infinita. El mar en Cancún divino, poco zargazo (igual limpian a diario!). Algo q nos vino excelente es q había una mini cafetería tipo Starbucks en el lobby, y podías buscar lo q quisieras: café té frapuccinos helados y panificado (roll de canela, crosaints, cookies etc) Para comer teníamos q ir al buffet y restaurantes del oasis Palm. Malísimo. Mala calidad, poca variedad, y son tan grandes los hoteles q el personal no da abasto. Los restaurantes de especialidades tienen 5 mesas cada uno, así q nunca hay lugar. Te salvaba la cafetería del lobby para desayuno/merienda. Y una noche preferimos ir a McDonalds antes q comer ahí… la playa linda, pero tan chica q no había espacio… y olvídate de conseguir una reposera: 1000 huéspedes y 50 reposera. Imposible. El kids club de 12 a 15 hs, y solo para algunos chicos (nunca entendí el reglamento). El mundo jurásico son dos piletas descuidadas con figuras de dinos. Solo te dejan pasar a una de ellas de 9 a 11:30hs, la otra no se puede usar porque es solo para el kids club, q no funciona a la mañana 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ o sea está vacía. Del barco pirata no opino porque no fui.

2. Nice beach I don’t even know from where to start.. it s not worth it the money at all. The staff not very helpful ( the restaurants I dont even need to mention it)- very simple put , no tipping , no attention 😅.
We had all 3 of us ( a 2 years old also )a stomach bug , either from the food , or from the “cleanliness” at the playground , if we can call that -and when my husband went to the reception to ask for a doctor , the immediate response from the guy was : you have to pay for it ; not a “what happened to your daughter? How can we help?”
In the next morning , she threw up in the restaurant all the water that she drink, my husband ask for somebody to clean up, they said ok , but no one did. Everyone just stepped all over it . :)
The beach? They had to clean it manually from seaweed ( probably like 1-2 hours in the morning before they got tired and they left it in the sun till the next morning ) . We went to other hotel after and they had machines to do this work …
For 2 days I saw tourists asking the ustensils to start cleaning the water by themselves and then a few employees came along .( weren’t very happy:) )
And lastly , let s mention the fact that they give you the room in which building they have free , not necessarily the one that you booked. And the bracelets, different bracelets colours (3), although it s an all inclusive resort, you don’t get 4-5 restaurants.
We managed to not stay at long lines because we tried to get up before 8:30- who did it after , they had to wait for breakfast outside a lot- that s unacceptable!

- Lucio Emmanuel (1/5): Me, robaron plata - Poco y nada El aire de la habitación hacia un ruido terrible, si había show abajo se escuchaba y no se podía dormir hasta que terminara, había sarro en toda la ducha, la cortina no cerraba bien, sacar turno para los restaurantes era imposible y terminabas siempre en los buffet qué la comida es muy repetitiva, no había heladera en la habitación, el colchón te hundias en el medio y me robaron 600 dolares.
- Keli (8/5): - Very good value, buffet was typical of an all inclusive resort. We only tried one restaurant in the evening aside from the buffet but it was great. The beach was lovely. The location was good. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The only downsides were the lack of beach chairs, the mad rush by other guests to claim the few beach chairs, and the lack of an adult only area. Kids would be playing catch, splashing, etc right beside the swim up bars. This could be rectified by having an adult only area.
- NZPP (3/5): Lack of basic hygiene... Do not go there!!!! - Staff is really friendly and they try to do their best to accommodate everyone needs. Easy and fast checkout in and checkout Water jet-ski- loud and whole beach stinks with diesel.
People taking their food to beach ,leaving it and seagull immediately come and eat it, shitting over other people on the beach- you should ban food at the beach as it's disgusting and extremely dangerous- not hygienic.
Beach is tiny, and not so many sun beds- maybe 50 or 60 in total which create discomfort as you need to get up at 7 a.m. to reserve the seat. No sun beds at the swimming pool at sens hotel- really waste of potential.
Italian restaurant is cover with bird excrement- on the floor, on the walls, on the umberalls .... everywhere..this is again very dangerous and people can get sick. In a la carte restaurant food is ok but cold, too salty and not what they show on pictures
In the bars they clean plastic glasses using same water and they flash only without proper decontamination...they use the same spoon for everyone to mix their drinks.... OMG.... this is really upsetting that they do not have control over basic sanitary... If this is what they do in from of people..I am afraid to think what they do in the kitchen or in places which we cannnot see..... Shame on you.... Totally do not recommend this hotel

- Jose (7/5): - I like the cleanliness of the property , the property lay out I dont like that guest are allowed to come lay towels on chairs they dont plan on using . Or even leave and expect to keep their places hours later. There's no one to monitor guest who leave the area .
I also dont like for all inclusive to be limited to a hand full of place to dine . I was hoping to see events or shows like the website promised. I dont like that the Kids area is more abandoned and the swings and pool area aren't kept up well .

Did Enjoy though. - I really like the stay, I was moved to the SEN, the rooms with the balcony is nice. without a balcony not sure if I would like it as much. I didn't like that all of the restaurants on the resorts were booked up by time I check in, not allowing me and my wife an opportunity to experience them and only being able to eat at the buffet style two option left to choose from.
