• Helga (9/5): Rekommenderas mycket varmt och skulle gärna återvända! - Fräscha snyggt inredda rum - härligt med liten balkong. Vattenflaskor på rummet, choklad samt tekokare tillgängligt i litet loungerum. Fantastisk frukostbuffé med hemmagjorda inslag ( t e x sylt, pannkakor och kakor, chiabröd och granola) och beställning av varm dryck vid bordet - buffé med lite variation varje dag. Supertrevlig tillmötesgående ägarinna och härlig stämning i välbesökt restaurang. Afterski på terrassen eller i baren möjlig. Uppskattade också trevligt bemötande i kontakt före avresa, nåddes lätt via Booking el mail. Tips: Bussen till Riddes tågstation går utanför hotelldörren, därifrån når man smidigt vacker tågresa via Martigny till Genève flygplats. Vi passade på att se Lausanne på vägen och badade i Genèvesjön en solig dag i mars. Lite hårda sängar för min smak. Saknade hårtork. Hiss finns ej, var beredd på trappor ute och inne.

• Nathalie (10/5): Magnifique hôtel dans une très jolie station que je ne connaissais pas du tout. - L’accueil et le cadre est très chaleureux. La décoration épurée et de très bon goût. Cuisine délicieuse. Parking facile d’accès et les chambres sont très jolies. peut-être le matelas un peu trop dur et les coussins trop mous. Mais c’est un avis très personnel qui ne sert à rien.

• Isabelle Melina (9/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft - Das Zimmer war sauber und relativ geräumig. Der Raum war relativ schalldicht, obwohl wir über dem Restaurant waren, hatte man fast nichts gehört. Das Bad war sehr modern und hatte eine Lüftung sowie ein Fenster, was sehr praktisch war. Das Frühstück war eher klein gehalten, aber hatte dafür Frisches sowie Loakles. Das Personal war durchwegs freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Zimmer hatte es keinen Föhn. Den hätte man wahrscheinlich an der Rezeption anfragen können. Für den Preis hätte ich einen Föhn im Bad jedoch erwartet. Das Bett war relativ hart, aber für einige Nächte gut auszuhalten.

We had a wonderful time — the hotel was impeccably clean, furnished with exceptional attention to detail, and truly felt like a retreat. The food was absolutely incredible — each dish was a delight. It was a genuine pleasure to talk to every member of the staff, as well as the lovely managing couple — their warmth and professionalism made us feel truly welcome. • Karun (10/5): Our stay was fantastic - couldn't have asked for a better place to escape the city life. - Perfect accomodation in the heart of La Tzoumaz - with excellent hosts, ambience, food, and connectivity - all adding to the charm. Food can be a little pricey - but it is excellent and mostly on par with any other restaurants. The hosts were amazing an super helpful.

• Linda (9/5): Upscale village hotel! - Beautiful room with upscale finishes! Quality breakfast where we enjoyed visiting with the hostess. No restaurants open for dinner. We drove 25 minutes back to the valley, but then had a wonderful fondue dinner.
• Simone (10/5): Just Perfection - Everything! The room was very nice and cosy, clean and with a big balcony., We had dinner twice in the restaurant, and both times we were really satisfied. The view was very beautiful, with the Alps just in front. The breakfast, amazing, all fresh products, and including a fantastic tiramisù. Last but not the least, the staff, probably the best thing about the hotel. Everyone is very friendly, professional and at the same time easy going attitude, always helpful and ready to give advice and super customer oriented. This is probably one of the best hotels I have ever been. The fact that it was so good that it was hard enough to write down a review to describe this place !
• Stefan (10/5): A Must-try gem in Swiss mountains - Exceptional views, spotlessly clean, customer service by the book (and my choice of words does not do justice to the host), nice amenities, tasty breakfast, gorgeous rustic design etc.. One of the closest places to my heart in over 30 years of global travel. Can not wait to come back.. We dropped in between the winter and summer seasons, therefore we could not enjoy the brilliant restaurant.

The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right. The rooms were cozy yet chic, blending comfort with a stylish touch. The staff was young, friendly, and always eager to help, which added to the warm atmosphere. The location was also excellent, offering convenient access to the ski resort and a nearby supermarket. Although La Tzoumaz does not get that much sun during winter months. Still, highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-located stay in La Tzoumaz!

• Franziska (9/5): A Warm, Cozy, and Exquisite Mountain Getaway - We recently had the pleasure of staying at the small boutique hotel and dining PapillOn in La Tzoumaz, and we can't recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering a warm welcome that made us feel right at home. The room was perfect for a mountain getaway—cozy and impeccably clean, with a clear, modern design with an eye for detail that still managed to exude warmth and comfort, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the mountains. The entire experience was simple and easy-going, allowing us to relax and truly feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to start the day. The on-site restaurant also served very good food that exceeded our expectations. The overall experience was fantastic. We definitely recommend a stay in this small but very nice hotel and restaurant for anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming mountain retreat close to Verbier. As in many other hotels, some noise from other guests can be heard in the room, which may disturb light sleepers. However, this didn't detract significantly from our overall experience.

The rooms are gorgeous with their luxurious bedding and alpine inspired furnishings! I slept so well here and when I woke up I was treated to the stunning view of the mountains! Bliss! The hospitality of the hosts was the best I have had.. so kind, warm and thoughtful right down to the most delicious and freshly prepared breakfast which catered for my special dietary needs. This is definitely a wow place! I will be back. Everything was perfect.

• Mariyana (9/5): Hidden gem in La Tzoumas! - We loved our stay at the hotel in La Tzoumas! The breakfast and the dinner at the hotel restaurant were amazing, and one of the main reason we chose this hotel. At breakfast, there was a carefully curated selection, good coffee and also hot eggs made to order. The restaurant offered a lively atmosphere at dinner, with a good selection of local specialiates, traditional reclette and daily specials. The wine selection was also excellent. The ambience of the hotel, as well as the staff was great, and the room was very practical, with a dedicated corner space for bulky ski shoes or winter jackets. Overall Pappilon contributed greatly to a perfect long weekend of skiing in the Verbier area, and we would love to visit again! The door of our bathroom is a sliding door which doesn't close very well, but it seemed like a design choice.

• Nicholas (8/5): Fantastic spot, would return. - Breakfast was great, a small but excellent selection of things although soft/hard boiled eggs would've been nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is bang on, close to the main lift/supermarket. Restaurant is nice though due to the limited number of other options in the resort they should perhaps switch things up a bit in terms of what's on offer. Seemingly no options for afternoon tea. Bizarre as this would only require a few cakes so hardly a manpower issue. Boot room is a pain to get in and out of. No lounge area with sofas to relax (e.g. like in the back of the Central Bar up the road..but who wants to walk after a long day's skiing? and they also have cake!) I missed not having a spa/steam room but to be fair I knew upon booking that it didn't have one. Despite being a guest, not always being able to reserve in the restaurant despite it blatantly having space.
