• Christopher (7/5): An oasis, yes. But could do with a good clean. - Big apartment, great site facilities, excellent location. Needs some work to rectify the wear and tear. A deep clean of the apartment would also be beneficial.
• Norma (2/5): DOES NOT have a second bathroom and is really dirty - Great location - handy and central. Pool and garden area are very nice. BUT read the reviews as you do not get 2 bathrooms. Advertised as 2 bathrooms. It has ONE toilet and a bathroom (with no toilet) - has been advertised for at least 5 months as a 2 bathroom and is currently still advertised as two bathrooms - unacceptable. Property was extremely dirty inside and both decks - needs a full deep clean. Moldy blinds in one bedroom, no batteries in remotes - they are needed to operate bedroom fans. Fridge did not work - took 48 hours to get a working fridge and no compensation for lost food and MISSING bathroom. (We asked for compensation and the owner said he would sort something - but we have been ignored). When the fridge was replaced the "new" fridge was very old - had a 2 star rating and was dirty and needed cleaning before we could use it. We had to waste a lot of food - milk, yoghurt, dips, cut meats, leftovers etc. We were a group of 6 adults and our main criteria was a minimum of 2 toilets - so ONE toilet was a real let down. Note a slight clean of both decks was done (wiped 2 tables) but left all the mould and debris, batteries were supplied and fridge replaced - but these things took 48 hours or more ......
• Vicky (7/5): Stay - The room was lovely and big and comfortable. That the pool was not heated and we also couldnt use the spa/hot pool as that was also cold.
• Rachel (8/5): Had a great time. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room on the lounge for the whole family to spread out. Lots of mirror - Great location. Easy walk into the city centre Couple of plumbing issues particularly with kitchen sink tap that was wobbling all over the place.
• Jo (8/5): Great central location with good facilities - a bit of a challenge to get in with no reception. - Loved the tennis courts and hot tub. Felt like a very secure property with fobs working fine. Central location to Southbank and easy to get to places on foot. Didn't like that I had to find a park to pick up the keys in a totally different location to the accommodation. May not have booked if I had realised that. The system works but I couldn't find a park nearby and had to pay $20 for a park plus 10 minute walk to get the keys. Very slow process to actually get into the property and similar issue on departure.... No dishwasher was a surprise. Some mould on some of the windows - needed a deep clean and more airing.
• Walter (8/5): Get the advertising correct Booking.com!! - The host Bronny and Neil, due to some big discrepancy’s, I called them. With in a half en hour the we’re on site ang corrected them!! A big thank you to both of them, but especially to Bronny! First of all it is or was wrongly advertised by Booking.com?? We were 5 adults, it was supposed to have two bathrooms!! Wrong. One bathroom one toilet!! Why does Booking.com not advertise this properly?? Shame on Booking.com!! The rest were able to clear with the fabulous host.

• Stuart (8/5): Fine for a boys trips but wouldn’t take my family until it was given a freshen up. Could be excellent but was ok. - Great location and facilities at the place, pool, tennis court and washer dryer. Great size property. The property is very old and tired. I didn’t feel clean in the place. For example carpet needs replacing and needs a new paint job. The tap in the kitchen is completely loose and the left sink in bathroom clogs up when you use it. Collecting keys was a little far away too.
• Bree (8/5): - The spa, pool, tennis court and gym were great - kids had a ball!! Beautiful setting inside with the trees and super secure too. Hosts were very accommodating allowing us a late checkout also. We were under the impression there’d be two bathrooms but there was only one…. Also the rugs we got out of the cupboards for the cooler nights had what looked like food marks and hair on a couple of them. Some were very discoloured but that might have just been to do with their age?

• Gareth (9/5): Excellent location. Plenty of room for a family of 5. Would highly recommend - The property was so close to everything. Walking distance to Woolies, Southbank, the MCG etc. Perfect spot that was private yet in the heart of Southbank. Big enough for a family of 5 and was an added bonus to have access to the shared gym, tennis court etc There were only 3 bowls which is odd considering it can be made up as 6 single beds. Kitchen could have been stocked with a bit more crockery and a baking tray. However, the rice cooker was a nice added bonus! This is a minor blip though. Overall would highly recommend this property!
• Sandra (6/5): Disappointing, not as described, but clean and close to tram stop. - The place was clean. The beds were comfortable and it was close to a tram stop. Kitchen facilities good and large living area. Water pressure in shower great. Two balconies for some fresh air. Description when booking was not what was there - said 2 bathrooms (note the description on booking.com is still saying 2 bathrooms, a week later, despite speaking with host on arrival), therefore unit was not value for money and I had only booked because it stated a 2nd bathroom. In the bathroom the shower was over the bath, very slippery bath base and the moving glass shield was not good. Tiny toilet, could hardly get around the door to get into it. Upstairs unit very noisy on two mornings early waking us below. Should not have to drop keys back, as some distance away from property.

Easy access to complex from both Moore Street and Sturt Street. Supermarket nearby (short walk). Undercover, secure parking. Bathroom included small laundry (Front Load Washing Machine + Clothes Dryer) Large Smart TV in lounge & large TV in master bedroom. Large lounge suite was great as travelling with family of 5. Pool & Hot Tub in complex common area was fantastic. We had 5 people staying there. Bedrooms were large and it could comfortably accommodate 6 people (but only 1 bathroom). We had the place setup with King Beds in 2 of the bedrooms and 2 x singles in the 3rd bedroom and it worked out great. Description ========== Description of apartment stated 2 bathrooms, however the apartment only had 1 bathroom + 1 separate toilet. Our booking was for a family of 5, so 1 bathroom was OK, but with 3 teenage girls, a 2nd bathroom would have made things a little less cramped in the bathroom and a little quicker when we all needed to get ready at the same time. Accessibility ========== Access to Front Door ------------------------ We were fine, but if anyone booking this apartment had mobility issues, the only way to get to the apartment is via 2 sets of stairs as apartment located on 2nd storey (1 external set to get to the apartment "wing" front door, then 1 set internally within the apartment "wing" to get to the apartment front door.) It was a bit of a challenge lugging suitcases\bags up\down stairs when we arrived\departed. Bathroom ------------------------ Combined Bath\Shower would likely be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues - as the only shower was the combined bath\shower which required you to step from the floor, over the bath edge, onto potentially slippery bottom of bath, so an increased risk of slipping over getting into\out-of the shower compared with a stand-alone shower with no\low shower hob.
