Guest Reviews
- Nathan (7/5): Was pleasant enough, peaceful and comfortable. - Quiet. BBQ could have been cleaned and gas bottle full.
- Graham (7/5): - No towel rack and no where to hang clothes
- Brett (9/5): -
- Nicky (10/5): The cottage was private and clean and comfortable. Easy instructions on how to get there and easy wifi and tv instructi - Private, clean, easy to get too, value for money.
- Leroy (10/5): Best sleep I’ve had in ages. Very comfortable and no noise outside. So peaceful ☺️ - Best sleep I’ve had in ages. Very comfortable and no noise outside. So peaceful ☺️ Nil
- Michael (7/5): - Good location, easy stay, great value for location
- Nicole (8/5): -
- Brad (8/5): Really enjoyed the place. Great value!! - Owner was lovely. Great quiet location and rally good value
- Reynolds (9/5): - Tranquil. Value for money. Very comfy beds. Just FYI video channel is HDM12 not 1.
- Tiffany (10/5): -
- Jessie (9/5): Quiet and peaceful accommodation 😊 - Even though this property was close to the road, it was very quiet.
Everything was very clean and tidy, and all the appliances worked well.
The shower had lovely hot water with great pressure!
It was very relaxing, sitting on the outside chairs and watching all the wildlife. 🐦 🦆🦘 We could have used some extra blankets
- Emma (10/5): -
- Margaret (6/5): - So much potential for this accommodation, very basic and underutilised. Great outdoor environment, though no animals we saw as advertised in photos. No extra blankets in cupboards for a stay in August, and aircon did not seem to work on heating. Luckily we had come prepared.
There was nowhere to hang towels or clothing while or after showering.
More use could have been made of the outdoor area with gas space heater.
Two single beds in one bedroom suitable only for children.
No windows made it feel claustrophobic. Obviously photos made the property appear more spacious. A two seater couch is hardly adequate for a property that sleeps 5.
- christine (6/5): Lovely - Lovely n quiet and wildlife Smelt terrible of soap powder n room freshener n cleaning products. Had to wash everything
- Shirley (8/5): -
- Tina (10/5): -
- Lea (8/5): Some thoughts - The large outdoor sitting area was wonderful and allowed me to relax, take in the surroundings and watch the roos and the birds. The lights are very bright. I opt to use natural lighting at home, but there are no windows in the kitchen or toilet, and the down lights very bright. We are indoors because the butcher birds surrounded me tweeting for food when I was just drinking tea. Inside the table doesn't sit 3 people.
- Pauline (9/5): comfy cottage. Good value for money - n/a n/a
- Jacob and Rachael (8/5): Mother Daughter Getaway - Very quiet, comfortable facilities and the rooms and bedding were clean and smelled nice (no mould smell). The owners were lovely and very quick to respond when we had questions. Will be staying again. The pots and pans were dirty which I assume was no fault of the owner but perhaps they could be checked in future before a new guest arrives.
- Angelo (6/5): -
- Lynette (5/5): It was ok for the cost - It was quiet. The shower was covered in a strange plastic for privacy. Grounds not well maintained.
- Aimee (7/5): Peaceful - The location is good, and heaps of room for a family of four. Grass was long around the villa.
- Cath (7/5): -
- Prakash Subedi (8/5): -
- Berndt (9/5): Enjoyable - Quiet & plenty of room
- Debra (7/5): Overall reasonably comfortable but rather unappealing. Not the lovely farm stay we were anticipating. Quite disappointin - Nice clear instructions to find the place. Very comfortable beds. Good hot & strong shower. The grass was long & overgrown.
The dining table was small and awkward to use.
The couch was much too small and 2 adults and a child were quite cramped sitting on it.
So there was nowhere to sit and relax.
The outside table & chairs were quite dusty and, even though it was cool & pleasant there, we were disinclined to sit there.
Inside was quite pokie, dark and impractically furnished, and not a relaxing space at all.
There were only very basic provisions, with only towels provided with no washers or hand towels.
- Melissa (10/5): Quiet location and easy to relax! - Location quiet, easy to relax and a nice scenic drive to local attractions and shops!
We enjoyed our stay here.
- Jonah (9/5): -
- Rachel (1/5): Didn’t stay - Dangerous dog sign at gate caused serious anxiety - Hmmm. Country location. Did not stay. Dangerous dog sign on the entrance which caused great anxiety for my child. This is conveniently missing from all photos or information about this property. We could not stay and contacted costumer service prior to 7pm.
Shower had contact on the glass. Nor did it have a door, just a curtain (which can be seen in the photos).
Second bedroom doesn’t have a door.
- Madonna (10/5): You won't want to leave so peaceful - The place was lovely and clean so peaceful easy check in had everything we needed washing machine the lot we liked it was fenced so kids could run inside yard beds where comfy grandkids loved the goats place was easy to find from directions we got will definitely be back Nothing
- Chantal (6/5): Pour ceux qui aiment la nature, c'est parfait ! -
- Belinda (7/5): - Quiet location. Relatively close to Gold Coast No free to air TV, only DVD or Chromecast available, which we weren't aware of before we stayed. Cabin is on private property, directions were good, but we arrived quite late in the dark and the road was not very clear, not mowed or lit
- Chanuka (9/5): -
- Emma (10/5): - Very calm and amazing location. It is very good welcoming by the owners of the farm .
- Desiree (7/5): Quiet. Cool air cons. Close to Mt Tamborine. - It was peaceful despite being on a busy road. The driveway to the unit could have been marked out better especially for arrival at night.
- Bill (8/5): -
- Jeff (6/5): Not what we expected, but we didn't pack up and leave. - The rooms were clean and comfortable. The place was spacious. Access to TV and Wi-Fi was excellent. Facilities were well provided. Given the description we expected a renovated farm house with access to the farm and the animals. Unfortunately the house was a colorbond farm shed, converted into living accommodation. No access to the animals.
- Bahareh (10/5): -
- Tara (9/5): - The villa was very comfortable and stylish. Lots of space. All amenities were clean and worked well. Owners on-site to greet us and were very respectful of our privacy. A quiet and peaceful place to stay. Thank you.
- Wendy (6/5): Price right for accommodation provided - Price was cheap, was clean and bed comfortable Recent bonfire was still smoking which caused wheezing
- Kamil (10/5): -
- Darren (9/5): -
- Glenn (10/5): -
- Fiona (9/5): -
- Stacey-Leigh Kidston (10/5): -
- Lynne (8/5): - Location - lovely and quiet Tv wouldn’t work
- Luke (10/5): - Everything No milk
- Kim (10/5): -
- Caroline (9/5): Perfect location to attend an equestrian event - Location. Quiet. Lovely hot shower All good
- Sandra (10/5): - It is perfect for our needs & we stay there each year. It's comfortable and has all the basic needs. Only thing that was missing was not being able to watch normal TV to catch news etc due to set up with skyline!. We will be back.
- dustin (10/5): -
- Krystle (10/5): -
- Bec (8/5): Comfortable - The host was wonderful,
The bed was extremely comfortable.
- Andrew (8/5): I enjoyed my stay, it was clean and had everything I needed. - It was a nice quiet location and had enough beds for a full family to stay. You do need to bring your own food, but that suited me. There is a fridge and basic kitchen so you could cook if needed. I could have used a heavier blanket on my bed, just my preference blanket wise.
- Nick (7/5): -
- Gordon (8/5): -
- Sandra (9/5): Hosts were lovely. Accomadation was perfect, cosy, and lovely grounds with farm animals. Peaceful. - Self breakfasts, location perfect for my needs The contact privacy sheeting over the glass shower recesses is not necessary and makes it very clostrophobic, and the run off pipe must be blocked as floor of shower kept flooding.
- Matt (5/5): -
- Diana (8/5): Exactly what we needed. It was perfect. - Wonderful location. Comfortable furniture. Great outdoor, undercover seating.
- Theresa (8/5): Good location to explore with friends - Super location with plenty of wildlife around Only a two seater settee as there were three of us, also there was a large TV but only had DVD or chrome cast
- Samantha (9/5): -
- Aliesha (10/5): -
- Joseph (8/5): -
- Rajendram (7/5): The hosts were excellent and very helpful. - n/a The usual programs were not accessible on TV
- Isabell & Russell (4/5): Adequate - Location was handy. Difficulty finding the unit. Whilst the instructions that there was a yellow sign on the gate, it didn't include that the yellow sign was a dangerous dog sign (thankfully no dogs were sited) Bathroom had no door/walls, just curtains.
- Samantha (10/5): The owners was amazing the animals are so cute hopefully to stay there again soon - The quietness and the animals the shower was amazing plenty of room beds were comfortable Wish we could have stayed longer
- Katie Marie P (8/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): Lovely way to holiday 😃 - I loved the amenities and how lovely the hosts are.
- Lisa (7/5): A lovey, quiet and peaceful break to our journey. Thank you very much. - Lovely, quiet location. Kids enjoyed the animals. Owners were friendly and welcoming. Clean and comfortable. Full-sized kitchen was clean and had what we needed. Bbq was great. The couch was a little small for the 4 of us to sit comfortably inside. Luckily the weather was warm enough to use outside so it didn’t really matter, but I think that might have been different in winter.
- Matthew (3/5): - I'm hoping what I have to say may tell the owners of the quite 2 bedroom farmhouse to make improvements, the gardens were overgrown with weeds, the pictures we seen about the outdoor setting was not the same, it showed nice gardens, not overgrown with weeds, the barbecue was not cleaned, I had to clean it myself to use it, It was quiet but not much privacy they could build a shade cloth walll from seeing the house , My partner and I have stayed at a few places over the last few years and at the same price I'm sorry but it does not compare to what we have Experienced, One example in mount tambourine $190 a night big Queen sized bed spa, air conditioning, and even food there for us to use if we wanted to use it, and that was very private in the bushes and trees, So if the owners want to make money out of it they need to do something about the gardens and the privacy, The best things were the air conditioning and the big TV, Basically if you're inviting guest to there you should show some pride in what you're trying to achieve
- Hill (7/5): -
- Stephen (6/5): - Location WIFI not working tryed as per the log in details , no TV reception .
- Gillian (8/5): -
- Peter (6/5): - Water flooded the shower area as the drainage was poor. We had to wait 1.5 hrs between n each very quick shower. It was not an acceptable condition.
- Kwan Yat (7/5): - Close to the place that we need to go The wifi not working well
- Lisa (9/5): Will definitely go there again - Quiet, comfortable and quirky little cabin. Owners were very responsive and respectful of privacy. Great for a quiet family getaway
- Kylie (3/5): We managed but wouldn't go back. - Aircon was effective, it was clean, instant hot water, filtered water, wide selection of DVD's. Host was friendly and chatty. Unfortunately I'm not able to leave a good review. There was no communication leading up to our stay ( for anyone wanting to stay here, you go through the gate and left at the fork to the green building). The accom is a converted shed with very little natural light and the layout is quite odd. A front room was closed off for storage so even less light coming in, it's pitch black at night so night-time navigation is difficult. Bathroom is separated by a curtain and some plastic shower screens have been sticky taped up on the glass.
Cooking was difficult as there were no saucepans (there were fry pans), no wine glasses, not many plates, no toaster, Bbq outside didn't have a gas bottle.
There is only one fire alarm, which is worrisome.
The light switches aren't in entirely logical places so labels would have been helpful.
The ad said there was free wifi and a TV but there was no wifi and the TV was only for playing DVD's.
We altered how we did things and managed but felt it was overpriced for the standard of accommodation.
- Con (4/5): Over priced and disappointing - Clean good shower Very old fashioned, no normal tv to change channels you needed a pen uncomfortable beds, over priced for what you get
- Ray (7/5): Over all we enjoyed our stay at the premises, with just the few issues as stated above. - The location was good easy access to anywhere we needed to go. Had a nice country ambience. Was very quiet and tranquil. Could have had a Remote to operate TV and Video. Would have been nice to have had some ‘instant coffee’ available or at least have known to supply our own.
- Jan-Andrew (1/5): Hosts falsly advertised amenities and refused to answer communications. - Nice Location Advertised as having free-wi fi. There was no wi-fi. Advertised as having a flat-screen TV. It didn't work. All beds squeaky and uncomfortable. Three paper-thin towels for the entire family. Hosts impossible to reach. Refused to answer calls, texts or emails before and during stay. Missing most basic amenities.
- Delaforce (7/5): would come back definitely. - it was spacious the Queen bed mattress was uncomfortable and there were no tv channels available
- Tanja (7/5): Cute Farm experience - Great location for our needs,
- Peter (10/5): A peaceful country stay close to the city, but far enough away to relax. - We loved the peaceful surroundings, the views. Beautiful to wake up to the animal farm life. It was perfect for our needs. The cottage was supplied with all we wanted, very spacious, very clean. The location was perfect, close enough for the city, but far enough away to have the beautiful country feel. I want to come back again for a longer stay next time. The hosts were very friendly and courteous. I would like to see more advertising about the property. What would be excellent would be the property website. I found this property by accident while googling accommodations in the area. I then lost it, and it took me quite a while to find it again. For future information or the ability to recommend to friends I would like to see a property name and a website.
- PRAMUK (3/5): - No breakfast provided. Not even milk for tea or good coffee. No toaster. Gas stove was out of gas so couldn’t use it either to make breakfast Bedsheets on some beds weren’t clean - husband got badly bitten by bed bugs. Apartment didn’t smell very good. Fridge shelves were dirty. Lounges weren’t clean.
