• Constantin (3/5): NOT A RELAXING, COMFORTABLE STAY. - Looks great in photos. There is a washing machine. It would have been nice to have at least one dose of washing machine detergent but unfortunately there was nothing of that. We purchased pods and left some for the following guests (hopefully they’ll find them). Plenty of interior lighting units but all very dimmed, and together with the poor natural daylight was leading to discomfort, fatigue and eye strain. We had only a brief encounter with the host at 5:00 pm check in time, after a long day wondering through the city, following an early morning flight into Athens and without possibility for an early check in - justified by the host with the “cleaning”. Worst shower possible, very small, has a plastic curtain on two sides that sticks to your body because of the vacuum effect of the water flow. You must hold the shower handle as there is no fixed holder; that makes it hard to shower in a tiny space. The curtain feels old, dirty and hanged on a ready to fall rail. Shower base, sides, drain and fittings dirty of dried soap. Few bathroom supplies: hand wash, shampoo and a bit of shower gel that ran out halfway through our stay. Toilet brush was very dirty, in a dirty and rusty holder. You have to turn on the water heater and wait 20min before the shower, then turn it off after; not a relaxing, worry-free stay. There is a coffee machine but is in a bad state of cleanliness, and no pods; and a filter coffee machine but no coffee for it. In fact, there are no supplies in the kitchenette other than salt & pepper and only one old tea bag for two people for four nights! Fridge was dirty inside and very inefficient, with a freezer completely covered in a thick layer of ice that jammed a couple of unusable ice trays in the below drawer. Dated furniture, dirty and stained sofa and sofa pillows in the lounge, a bit smelly, not pleasant to sit on. We were not able to turn ON the broken TV, even with another set of working batteries in the remote. Wifi modem with old unsecure encryption protocol. Dust and poor smell in the whole apartment, way too many decorations and artificial flowers impossible to clean, collecting dust and unpleasant odour. Long dark hair on the kitchen bench. The whole general cleanliness of the apartment was poor, even with an unusually long cleaning time between guests, with check out at 10:00 am and the check in quite late, at 17:00. Not a great sleep on a poor mattress, you can feel the springs. The renovation noise in the building with a lot of concrete drilling at early and late hours didn’t help with the sleep.

• Hosny (10/5): Great apartment in a wonderful location - Even before arriving to the apartment, we were greeted by the hosts who were very nice. Upon arrival, they were waiting for us in front. Very nice and welcoming hosts. They agreed to let us leave our bags for a few hours after the checkout time since our flight was late. We had a lot of bags because this was just part of our journey. However, the apartment was very spacious and handled all the space we needed. The apartment location is perfect. Very close to the city center (less than 8 minutes walk to Syntagma square). Everything is at your doorstep. The apartment has basically everything you would need for your stay. 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. Very good living area with the TV, a sofa and a chair. Good dining area. Good kitchenette with a microwave, electric stove, fridge and loads of options for coffee. There was also a washing machine and an ironing table. The apartment was very clean and presentable. It is also very modern and gives a great feeling all around. Lots of small nice details. The bookshelves with interesting Greek art and history books, the hairdryer and dresser all added to the beauty of the place. We liked everything. Very difficult to fault it.
