Margaret (3/5): Has possibilities but lacks attention to detail such as cleanliness - Nice setting Shower was dirty, floors needed washing, lighting was very poor, deck was covered in sand when we arrived, dining stools and side tables were very unstable, coffee provided but no tea/sugar/creamer, Very limited kitchen items, ants in the kitchen, sun sail over deck meant the door could not be fully opened, deck chairs were losing their plugs which were a chew hazard for the dog, no fire wood/paper/matches and hours before anyone responded. Too many different contact numbers. And this is the 3rd time I’ve responded for comment on the property, each time from a different source. Appears to be a lack of coordination and/or communication.
CamTheFamilyMan (9/5): Beautiful location with a peaceful atmosphere. - Beautiful, quiet location in a well appointed cabin with a view of the ocean. Access to the ocean front is a two minute walk across the road. The Pink Geranium coffee shop & restaurant is also a very short walk away. The lighting in the cabin was a little dim, making it slightly challenging to play cards or read at night. Located at the more remote (quiet and beautiful) northern end of the island so plan accordingly and bring some groceries to cook dinner or drive 15 minutes down island for a restaurant.

Alan (5/5): Superb location. With attention to detail the property could be stunning. - Superb location and Pink Geranium & Lola’s were fantastic eateries! The property had no Air conditioning and it was exceedingly uncomfortable to sleep in. Also the farmhouse was not very clean and very little attention to detail. Outside the property was totally not maintained with very rough concrete paths and the timber decking was in a very poor condition. Our bedroom door was falling off its hinges! Overall we were very disappointed with the condition of the farmhouse and would not return.
Kevin (6/5): Beautiful location but with expensive and unreasonable hosts. - Great location and the art there, in terms of the stones sculptures and stuff, was very nice - as was the decor. The plants and trees were also very impressive and the restaurant, Lola, was great! There was stuff leftover from other people - such as a vest and a sun hat. Not sure why the cleaners would not have taken these things out. We felt like we were entering a place that was already being used by other people. And the website says checkout time is 11am but they made us checkout at 10am. When we asked for a late checkout, we were told no. And that was after we went looking for staff and couldn’t find any, and after having sent an email and not having heard back from anyone, and calling the number and leaving a voicemail and not having the call returned, and texting the number back from our original welcome text, from Michigan, and hearing back at 9:45am the day of our departure, giving us 15 minutes to get a family of 4 out. And the back door latch was broken - anybody could have entered our cabin at any time. For $1000, I expected more than this. Disappointing.
