• Linda (3/5): not happy and dissappointed in how the hotel treated situation - we had bad experience our laundry was taken out without us knowing and they sent us an email after the fact and wanted to charge us for shipping. don't tamper with customers stuff then expect them to deal with consequences. see above
• Chelsea (9/5): Great value stay and close to airport station - Near the airport train station, probably about 5-7 min walk, but have to cross a major road to get to the hotel. I suggest looking at the exterior photos in google maps to avoid getting lost since the hotel itself does not have its own entrance. The lobby is very cute, kid-friendly, has free water and tea in the lobby. The staff is very nice. They let us leave our luggage at the hotel since we arrived early in the morning. The location itself isn't nearby any major tourist spots or places. Might take about 15-20+ min walk to get to tourist spots like Dihua Street or the night market, or even recommended restaurants for soy milk and beef noodles. There are convenience stores and small shops nearby to grab some eats and snacks. There is also a mall nearby. The room itself is surprisingly spacious. We could have opened 3 suitcases on the floor and still have room to move around. The bathroom isn't bad either, definitely roomier than even value rooms in Tokyo. The sink isn't inside the 'bathroom' and is stand-alone near the entrance. Fortunately, it's not awkward and there is enough counter space and lower shelving for us to store our items. The bed is only okay, not very comfortable. There is a sliding door with what looks to be a balcony with a high wall but the door cannot be opened the whole way. Not a big deal since opening the door an inch lets a lot of noise in (which is pretty loud during the morning with construction and traffic noise). Thankfully the soundproofing is very good in that regard. I'm very happy with the value to space/function ratio of our room. The closet is ... well, there's no closet. There is a wall with some pegs and a stand with bars for hangers. I don't understand why there couldn't be an actual closet installed, considering the amount of space in the room. It helped that I had a hanging organizer for my clothes but my partner had to use the entire table to lay out the rest of our stuff and clothes.

• William (7/5): A good hotel, well located, but difficult to reach from the underground accesses (with luggage) - Location close to the main bus and train station Poor directions to the hotel. The only lift from the subway to street level was out of service due to major works, and the hotel did not seem to be aware of the issue. Basic drip coffee sachets were not provided in the room and had to be requested. We booked a double room (20+ sqm), but it only came with a desk chair—hardly ideal for a supposedly family-friendly hotel. The payment system is also unfavourable: the hotel holds your initial payment for up to 28 days on top of the payment taken at check-in. This was not clearly explained by the staff and could have been handled better. This is our second stay, and overall, it remains a good and family-friendly hotel. Well-located but difficult to find if you're coming from Taiyou by train. Also, be prepared to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs.
• Darren (7/5): Great stay for people with kids. - This hotel is like a paradise for kids. Free snacks and cartoons show on the big screen. For adults, laundry room (NT$50) and free coffee and tea area. The room is just nice for a small family. Comes with breakfast on the 37 floor and the view is spectacular. You can also see Taipei 101 while having your breakfast. The foods are a combination of both east and west. We requested takeaway on the final day of our stay and they prepared the food for us. Some of the staff don't smile when they communicate with guests. There are also staff who don't make eye contact while talking to the guests. If you feel annoyed by such people, choose other accommodations.

Hot and cold water and tea available also in the lobby. Great view. No dresser drawers. Bed was a bit short for 5'8" husband. Shared laundry can get crowded in the evening. The time on the mirror above the sink is always wrong because the electricity cuts off when leaving the room (+1 for conservation), and it also has a bright blue display that needed to be covered at bed time.

• Mary (9/5): Fun themed lobby was memorable - Fun themed lobby area was very playful and welcoming. Lots of snacks available in lobby. Room was comfortable, clean, and modern looking. Location was pretty good with shops nearby and plenty of foot traffic. It was about 7 min walk to reach Taipei Main Station. Soaps, shampoo, and conditioner provided were of decent quality. Waters available in room. Good value for facility and location. Staff were least enthusiastic of all the hotels we stayed at on this trip (we stayed at 4 different properties). Not rude but definitely not at their top hospitality game. A simple warm greeting can go a long way for tired travelers. There was very little storage available. No closets, just a few hangers on the wall. There was not even a luggage rack in our room so everything was on the floor.

The air conditioner was extremely difficult to operate. It took a long time to turn on. Once on, there was no way to turn it off. The room got extremely cold late at night and we had to adjust the direction of the ventilation up at the ceiling so the cold air wouldn't blow on our face. The TV did not work at all.

• Karen Sue (10/5): Fantastic family hotel - Love this hotel! The lobby was great; the carousel-like installation at the center was certainly impressive. Room was spacious (a welcome change from Japanese hotel rooms haha). While the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, there were snacks available the entire day at the lobby and in the afternoon they served finger foods and juice/tea between 2:00 to 4:00 PM. There are also loads of places to eat and buy food. The lobby offers ample seating for those who bringing in their takeaways. Hotel is very close to Taipei Main Station so easy to move around (via the Tamsui-Xinyi red line and Bannan blue line) and get to and from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (via the Airport Express purple line). Our little one definitely enjoyed the play areas (there's one for kids and a separate one for toddlers and babies). Due to recent change in rules, expect that there won't be the usual single-use toiletries except for towels, tissue, and room slippers (shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, and hand soap in fixed dispensers are available in the rooms). But unlimited bottled water, and coffee and tea packets are available at the lobby as well. Bonus: They have weighing scales and packing supplies next to the carousel in the lobby, very helpful for avoiding baggage shock at the airport after much shopping. Room remained cold even with the AC off haha (we stayed in late winter), but anyway we didn't ask for assistance for this. Additional seating in the room would be nice as there is extra space anyway.

No breakfast was provided despite paying SGD225 per night which is considered very expensive for a hotel with not many facilities.

Otherwise has to live with filled trash, damn bath towels etc. In my room 1205, the pillow position of bed is next to toilet door with WC. Not a pleasant feeling.

• JasonCabs (9/5): Excellent hotel stay. Will book this hotel again for our next trip to taiwan - The hotel has a great vibe. It was very close to the main Taipei train station. Lots of food choices around the block. 7-11 just around the corner. The pillows are a bit uncomfortable... The room aircon was not enough, due to the fact there was a wall dividing the living area and sleeping area. but they did provide a dyson to push air to the other side.

• Layra (4/5): Great location but more of a transit hotel rather than a longer stay - Location No daily room cleaning. No water in the room which is fine overnight but I was there for 12 days!
• Su Lyn (9/5): Family friendly - Family friendly facilities in hotel. 2 small indoor playgrounds in lobby, free flow of small snacks / packets of tidbits easy to bring out for the day A bit of a hassle to have to contact front desk each time I need towels changed or dustbin cleared.
• Li Ying (8/5): Pleasant stay to look forward to after a day out sight seeing and shopping. - Location and cleanliness. Free flow of drinks and snacks which kids love. The bed was slightly on the hard side.
