- Robert (10/5): -
- Eleanor (8/5): Perfectly positioned pad for a couple. Great base and nicely presented. - Quaint, adorable set up. Very practical. Nicely appointed. Good facilities and nice quality furnishings and kitchen equipment. Not enough to not go back.
- Elaine (1/5): Disappointing - From the outside looked great The owner forgot to send pin to get in and was uncontactable for about three hours so had to find alternate accommodation very dissatisfied
- KEVIN (10/5): - Absolutely wonderful property well kept clean and well equipped in a perfect location – thank you Annie Booking.com completely ruined the experience-when we arrived we hadn’t received a key code & couldn’t contact the owner! I contacted Booking.com for advice, via chat of course as you can’t speak to anyone!!What did they do? They cancelled the booking & refunded the fee! All I wanted was some advise! Following several email contacts I thought they had rectified it? Of course not-it remained cancelled & the refund entered my account! Only due to good communication with the owner we managed to sort it out between ourselves! Well done Booking.com for your absolute incompetence! Caused stress & panic unnecessarily when so far away from home! Will really be considering whether I use you again! Can’t be trusted in a crisis!
- christine (10/5): A beautiful, cosy, modern, well designed and furnished apartment. We loved it and would definitely return ❤️ - It was very comfortable, excellent location, so close to everything and yet it was still private. Occasionally the trains could be a little noisy but not enough to bother us.
- Andrew Mark (10/5): Fantastic Accomodation in excellent location - We had a lovely 4 night stay here. It is light and airy, tastefully decorated with artwork by local artists and green plants. After travelling for over a month it was nice to have all the facilities of a comfortable home. We loved being able to cook each evening (there is a well stocked IGA within walking distance). We enjoyed relaxing in the evening on the comfy sofas reading & watching TV. The WiFi excellent. It was easy to park outside.
Annie’s place is well located within walking distance of the town centre. It was only a short drive to other attractions such as the Torndirrup National Park.
Annie was super communicative. Some people may be disturbed by the trains at night. It did not affect us but there are occasional large trains that pass through the railway station in front of the property which are noisy.
- Gabrielle (9/5): -
- Karen (9/5): Great location for food and shops. Quality accommodation. - Unique, comfortable and clean. Stairs were a bit steep and the bathroom was downstairs.
- Pam (7/5): -
- Digby (9/5): Wonderful support from host after leaving something behind; thank you! - Great location to make the most of our weekend off for a concert.
Interesting collection of books to choose from on the shelf. You won't get bored staying here!
- Rod (9/5): Our time at Annie's place was very relaxing and a great base for exploring Albany. - Annie's place is an amazing location as it is right at the end of York Street on the port side which makes it very central to all that we needed. There are a number of coffee shops very close and even a few a restaurants within walking distance. It is more than adequately equipped with all that we needed including washing machine and dryer for a 10 day stay. The modern facilities were appreciated. The large IGA supermarket so close was also very handy. The steps up the mezzanine floor were all part of the experience but for older folk this may be a bit of a difficulty depending on level of fitness. The proximity to the trains made it an early start in the morning due to the horns going off to indicate movement.
- Corinne (10/5): - We had four lovely nights here. Close to all amenities. Was spotlessly clean. Had all the amenities that you needed. Nothing at all.
- Julie (10/5): -
- Charles (9/5): - Loved the villa, wow factor and so close to everything, York St just around corner and easy parking All good
- Margo (9/5): Perfect! - Loved it. Very cosey and in a very convenient location. Annie thought of everything making our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend this place .
- Michael (9/5): -
- Moxon (10/5): - Centrally located with great choice of all types of food outlets in all directions. The property had everything you would want in a holiday property and was very homely. Being so central, you were close to the bus terminal and the goods train.
- Ian (9/5): Very comfortable spot in Albany, recommended. - Lovely apartment, very well equipped and clean. Great comms from owner. Parking right outside. Slightly odd location: feels like it’s in a shopping precinct, but once you get used to that you forget about it and at least it means supplies are easy to get!
- Landis (7/5): Great location, easy living. - Location was excellent and facilities were good. The pitch roof that is a beautiful feature of the property, has a window with no covering, so at night, the street lights flood the property and aim directly at the bed. Luckily we had sleep masks.
- Claudia (10/5): I’d love to stay again - Location and not old decor Stairs at end of the night on old bones :) it’s was an amazing place
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient walkable location and very comfortable
- Waywood (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Wee (10/5): Very good place to stay - Very nice and cozy place. Well equipped. The owner even come out with a manual on the amenities and nearby restaurants and location of attraction!
- Bradinhk (9/5): Cosy little spot in Albany, nice place for couples - We recently stayed a four nights at Annie's Place and found this to be a very good accommodation for couples. The place is well described in the booking.com listing and photos match what you will experience very well.
Check-in and key retrieval information was provided on the day we arrived. Communication with the property owner was very convenient and easy as well.
We were usually able to park our vehicle just in front of the apartment as well. When unavailable, there is a small parking lot just east that can be used.
Lots of space in this neatly configured unit with open downstairs kitchen, dining and living room space along with an upstairs bedroom. There is a bathroom and laundry room downstairs as well.
Kitchen comes with pretty much everything you need to prepare meals. There is an IGA just a couple minutes away by foot. You are also very close to restaurants and coffee shops up on Stirling Terrace and further on by York Street.
Bed was comfortable, furnishing around the flat tasteful, TV had Netflix and the works, bathroom spacious, shower worked perfectly, overall just a very comfy place, just what we were looking for in Albany. Would gladly stay at Annie's Place again. Kitchen knives were rather dull, could use sharpening for future guests.
Train station is just in front of the apartment, a couple of very early trains passed by during our stay. You will hear them.
- Leatt-hayter (9/5): Clean, well appointed accommodation in a great location. -
- Erin (9/5): Superb - Lovely studio in Lovely quiet spot, yet close to everything.
- John (9/5): Great location and very well equipped. - It was incredibly well thought out and lacking in nothing! Great central location with a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is nicely furnished and tastefully finished. The only possible thing I can mention here is the train that stood at the station with its engine running for many hours during the night!
- Beauglehole (10/5): It feels like you own a great holiday home in the perfect location. - Great location. Lots of room and well set out. Very clean. Good facilities (laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer) Some train noise, unavoidable at this location and time of year.
- Michael (8/5): One of the best stays in Albany we have ever taken. Highly recommend trying Annie's Place. - Location is close to everything in town. You can easily walk to the shops, cafe's, entertainment centre, Sunday markets, etc. Surprisingly quiet at night considering the central location and parking was easy and readily available. All amenities provided right down to the smallest detail like the bluetooth sound box and multiple device charging points. Lights from the entertainment centre building stay on all night and shine through the top bay window into the bedroom area upstairs. The light is not enough to prevent sleep but maybe some sort of screen would help eliminate.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (8/5): Very good -
- Kaur (10/5): Exceptional - great location and beautiful home :) shower had slight mouldy smell, was fine after we put on exhaust. wifi was a bit slow
- Karina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Drew (8/5): Great time, good location and a nice clean modern apartment. - The location
- Tim (10/5): Awesome apartment located centrally to the harbour and town centre. - Location to the convention centre and town centre. The size of the apartment was exceptional with everything you need during your stay provided. The only thing was the inability to make the apartment dark to sleep as the high triangular window was unable to be covered to stop light coming in. The train line is right nearby and was quite noisey at times.
- Lindsey (10/5): Lovely property, perfect location. - The location was perfect, down near the shore front and an easy walk into the town. It was very clean, spacious and well laid out and the bed was really comfortable. There was plenty of parking and it was very quiet during the evening and nighttime. We would definitely recommend this property. Nothing to dislike at all.

- Tracey (10/5): A beautifully appointed unit close to main area of Albany. A real gem!! - Close to the main area of town, IGA at your doorstep and lovely Thai restaurant next door. Annie’s place is so beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Annie was great to deal with and made our stay easy. Nothing - it was perfect!!
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Agarwal (9/5): Superb - Kids toys were dirty
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmela (8/5): great place, well located to restaurants and bars. - great location! clean and modern. nothing
- Smoker (8/5): Ideal for a short visit to Albany - Location is fantastic. Large window allows light from street to come in most of night
- Mark (8/5): Great place but can be noisy with the trains and trucks -
- Silvana (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (8/5): Fantastic Location - Our stay included New Year's Eve. Location could not have been better. Close enough to enjoy the celebrations but not so close that they were intrusive. An excellent location overall with most shops, restaurants in easy walking distance. Convenient free parking. All of the apartments in this development have a large triangular window high up at the front. I know it is possible to get blinds for such windows but I also know that you pay a lot for the privilege. Unsurprisingly none of the apartments have blinds, including this one. This does mean that the sleeping area on the mezzanine floor is not fully dark at night. Absolutely fine with a sleeping mask saved from the flight. Like others have reported, you can get train noise from the nearby station in the middle of the night. This only occurred once during our two-night stay so not a major issue.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tasneem (8/5): Very good - Comfortable and good location. Well equipped felt like home No luggage rack for my suitcase. Extremely hot water made showering dangerous. Toilet situated downstairs. Noisy trains in morning. No reserved parking for property outside the apartment
- Nicholas (9/5): Perfect Albany retreat - Spacious, clean and well equipped. Recommended Nothing to dislike
- Peter (10/5): we really enjoyed our stay. - everything we needed, very clean and good location. nil
- Gail (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alison (9/5): Perfect - This property has a real cosy yet modern feel, it has been finished to a very high standard including all of the furnishings which were of an high quality, everything needed for a short stay was provided.
The short walk to the town centre, pub, entertainment centre & train station meant it was a great location . The host was very easy to deal with and answered any questions really quickly. A little to close to the train station but no major issues
