Guest Reviews
- Christine (10/5): Adorable house in beautiful garden setting - The house is beautifully decorated and maintained, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The gardens were really special and on warm days sitting amongst the flowers reading a book was blissful. A lot of care and attention has gone into this property. The house was on a quiet road outside Cygnet, within a 5-minute drive to nice food and shops.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional stay in super classy home with beautiful garden. - We loved the house, the garden, the quietness, super comfy beds, friendliness of the hosts, classy furnishings. A group of 6 stayed here for 3 nights while at a festival and loved returning each night for a great night sleep.
- Katherine (10/5): -
- Robyn (10/5): Brilliant. Will return in the future. - Brilliant location, garden, facilities. Excelllent standard and hosts. Nothing. I would have stayed for longer if possible.
- Pauline (10/5): Perfect in every way. - Absolutely everything. The property was stunning. From the beautiful cottage to the glorious gardens. Felt like we were in a photo shoot for House and Garden. Nothing. Everything was perfect. Just wished we had booked for longer.
- Joleen (10/5): I want to go back! NOW! -Perfect home with all the right vibes! - Where do I even start to express how much we fell in love with this property, from the moment we opened the gates! The gardens, the style, the house, the fire, the bath, the heated floor, the little gestures (bread, jam, milk, eggs, butter!) - so unbelievable amazing! We were in Tasmania to search for houses and stayed here and this sure did set the bar for how I want to style and organise my future home! Thank you for giving us such a special place to remember for the rest of time! :) Hmmm....nothing! Maybe that we didn't get to stay longer. Oh and us QLDers aren't great at using a fire, great helpful tips to get the fire started BUT no success over here hahah....lucky we love the cold! :)
- Honor (9/5): It was a beautiful cosy cottage with lots of atmosphere - It seemed remote but yet it was near town. The garden was magnificent. The surrounding views were awesome Nothing
- Verity (10/5): - Such a comfortable stay and very accommodating hosts. Would recommend this to anyone looking to venture to cygnet for some relaxation.
- Heather (10/5): Perfect! I would be very happy to return one day - Beautiful cottage, clean, beautiful decor, gorgeous garden, cosy, peaceful, very comfortable beds No Microwave according to my friend!
- Victoria (10/5): - Everything about Little Oak pulled at the heartstrings. The attention to detail, the decor, the beautiful bed linen, the amazing cottage garden, the farmhouse kitchen with everything you could possibly need and essentials in the fridge, plus ingredients and instructions for mulled wine on a cold winter evening.... this place is as close to heaven as one could get... without... you know. We've never stayed at a more beautiful place to relax and unwind and will absolutely be there again.
- Georgia (10/5): Gorgeous cosy house that posed for a very relaxing staub - Gorgeous cosy little cottage with everything you need. Spectacular garden and amazing hosts who were very helpful!
- Fergus (9/5): Superb -
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is gorgeous and it’s very clear that a lot of thought and care has been put into the place. It looks ready for a magazine shoot! Gorgeous fresh flowers from the garden in every room. It’s also practical with a well equipped kitchen and pantry staples available. We had fun making use of the pizza oven and used some fresh herbs from the garden. Everything has been well thought out to make it a luxurious and memorable stay.
- Murray (10/5): Little Oak is simply STUNNING!! - What an absolute pleasure to stay at Little Oak. It is a simply stunning property, the gardens are beautiful and the outlook over the valley is amazing. Quality furnishings, quality crockery/cutlery, so spotlessly clean. So quiet, so relaxing...it is pure holiday bliss. This property is a must stay when visiting the Huon Valley. I cannot recommend Little Oak more, and will be returning for future visits. Thank you so very much.
- Carmel (10/5): Serene and beautiful historic home - Oh what a delight Little Oak is! The setting is beautiful, the gardens so wonderfully tranquil, & the house tastefully furnished with lovely linen, comfortable beds & so many extra little touches like the fresh bread, homemade jam & beautiful flowers from the garden scattered throughout. It was a delight to have access to the vegetable garden & to enjoy our meals under the apple trees. Thank you Ania & Naomi for sharing your special world with us.
- Barbara (10/5): Beautiful house and very cozy - Information about keys provided in a timely manner Nil
- Kathryn (10/5): Beautiful old world cottage set in stunning gardens with great views. - The house is old world and beautiful. Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, the most comfy quality beds and lounge furniture, lovely bed linen, loads of hot water, well equipped like your own house, lovely and light, really cosy with the fire and bedroom heaters and a lovely outlook to gorgeous gardens, bush and hills. I had to drag my friends away as they wanted to move in! Ania is a very quick and great communicator. Nothing. We were 4 older women so a second toilet would have stopped us having to line up in the morning😜 but I’d stay again in a flash!
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (9/5): This is a lovely property and very comfortable for our team of 3. - This is a beautiful house in a lovely location. The kitchen is amazing with a lovely hamper and foods available. There were few technical issues that disrupted the stay, but the host was very responsive in her efforts to resolve the problems.
