• Graham (10/5): Perfect romantic getaway for two in beautiful natural surroundings. - Staying at Forest Sweet Retreat was the highlight of our trip to BC, and a welcome respite after my spouse's seven city tour of the province with her tango band. We made full use of the hot tub, outdoor shower, and wood-burning sauna, nestled in a private, multi-level, lush backyard surrounded by forest. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. We appreciated the welcoming touches left by the host. The beach and "main strip" in Ucluelet were in easy walking distance, which we appreciated after a 6-course meal at the fantastic restaurant Pluvio nearby, which we needed to walk off! We also enjoyed breakfast at The Break and an absolutely stunning walk along The Lighthouse Trail. All in all, an ideal stay, and we would definitely like to return! Can't think of anything!

Hot tub is soothing and hot, wood fired sauna is incredible! All amenities at your fingertips made it a real pleasure! Fridge was a little small.

The bed was very comfy and the space was perfect for what we needed. Great location in Ucuelet too. Highly recommend staying here!

• Legrand (8/5): Very good - The wood sauna and outdoor shower was amazing! In the rain or the sunshine. It was private and, for the most part, quite. Great location on a died end road with walking trails near by. Not much to dislike but the bed was a bit uncomfortable but that's because it's hard to bet your own bed. :) The wooden deck was slippery but we managed just have to move slowly. Great getaway
• Jane (6/5): warm and cosy after long day out on adventures - The comfy bed, warm room after long day out, and the hot tub. Coming back on thanksgiving to some pie left. Information says soundproofing but could hear snoring above bedroom and opening and closing cupboards. Would not suggest a honeymoon here. The front door did not feel secure and came open when out. Did advise owners of this. Also watch for very steep gravel drive, and overhanging stones on the steps to suite. I had a fall on here. Did not use sauna as its extra 20 dollars if you need help.

• Diane (9/5): Nice location for touring the great trails and beaches in the area. Comfortable and private. - Nice little private rustic suite with spa and sauna (which we didn't use, unfortunately). Located in a quiet residential neighborhood it is very close to the Wild Pacific Trail and an awesome Sunset point. Close to town with a good grocery store and restaurants. We went to Ukee Seafood and Fish Pak and bought fresh caught halibut to grill on the provided bbq grill one evening. Quiet and private, comfortable bed. We had to get a little creative on where to put our suitcases, there really isn't a place to put them and a very small closet area.

• Harald (10/5): Best private relaxing nature retreat with beautiful surroundings - The place really is a sanctuary - I was surrounded by forest had a beautiful open space to live and sleep, additionally I had a hot tub and a sauna. This is up until today the best place I stayed. The owners were very respectful and also kept my privacy.Whenever I needed something, they werehere to help. If one wants to kick back and relax surrounded by nature and enjoy a hottup or sauna - this place is for you! I hope Ill be back here soon! That I didnt stay even longer :)

• Elisha (10/5): The best intimate nook out there! - It was so cozy and private with beautiful nature all around. We were able to walk to a nice sheltered beach where it is permissible to have a beach fire. An absolutely relaxing place to spend time. It was just right.
