• Lorraine (10/5): Fabulous property in an idyllic location - Beautiful location. Spotlessly clean. Fabulously decorated. Each room decorated differently. We loved the African inspirations in the decor. Lovely touches by host, including a welcome bottle of wine. Host extremely responsive and accommodating. We only stayed one night but would love to return for longer if we ever return to this area. Will definitely recommend to friends. Nothing. Unfortunately we were there for the extreme heat and risk of bushfires, so couldn’t really explore the area. Would love to return someday for longer.

About 20-25 minutes walk into town. - The location is a little far from the centre of town but it is a beautiful property, with with very comfortable beds and fancy appliances. The house was comfortable and very clean and we had a wonderful time. The host was very communicative and clear and let us know how to find the keys quite easily. It was really a great place, just a little bit far to walk into town, and it's along a highway and there aren't pavements the whole way. We did it though! There is also no aircon in the bedrooms, which was fine for the temperature we had but if it had been very hot that might have been more of a problem. There are ceiling fans though, and we were quite comfortable.

• Jacqui (10/5): A perfect stay. - Arty decor and it has lovely views. The house and garden have a whimsy about it. It’s very relaxing. The host even left us some fresh eggs and breakfast items. The driveway is steep and paths are narrow in places (and has some stepping stones)

The location was perfect, close to wineries, cafes, and nature trails, yet peaceful and private enough to really unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Yarra Valley. it’s the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and countryside beauty. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great spot for our sunset view too! - We had everything we needed in the kitchen and found cereal, eggs, crumpets, chocolate & wine from the host which was such a lovely and much appreciated touch. The decor is lovely and well thought out. There is a complete laundry so for a longer stay that is handy. The beds are comfy and great for couples or a family travelling with children

Paula's attention to detail is outstanding - even the cutlery matches the theme of the kitchen. Loved the fresh eggs, milk etc. provided on arrival, such a nice and welcoming touch. Beds were very comfortable and we were warm and cosy. When we needed to contact Paula she was very helpful and sorted out anything we needed with efficiency and friendliness. Can't recommend highly enough!

The quiet location, the bird life including the female satin bower birds, the two little fish in the lounge room and information about things to do.
