- Ankush (7/5): - Peaceful place and decent room sizes Nightmare to find this location on Google maps. It took us 1 hour and 4 phone calls with the cab driver and the owner to find the right location. WiFi password mentioned in the room was incorrect. The instructions provided by he owner seemed liked we were staying at the Hitler's property. There seemed to be a fine for everything you do in the apartment.

- Avichai (3/5): - Good a/c and private There were ants everywhere. Any food we put anywhere was covered with ants. When we first got to the hotel, there was no key in the room and the manager was not available. We needed to switch rooms in the end because the key was lost. Additionally, the manager was not flexible in being available to get paid, we had to chase her down in order to pay her. She was unhelpful and unavailable.

- Boris (8/5): Very good - We liked the location 10-15 min from the Old Quarter. The West Lake area is also a decent location with nice places to walk around and chill as well as dine. We especially liked the Vietnamese patties with shrimp nearby the pagoda street. The air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms but they provided a fan as a replacement. Also, the host was alright but it wasn't really welcoming. They let us wait until the last minute to access the room although we were very tired after long flights. But anyways.... overall it was nice and the best thing was that it was quiet in the night.

Unfortunately our aircon in 1 of the rooms didn’t work and was only being fixed on the day of checking out. However with the aircon from the living room and other bedroom, our bedroom kept cool.

- Lori (10/5): We will definitely stay here when we visit Hanoi due to location, apartment size and balcony! - Check in was very simple with a detailed explanation sent to us prior to arrival. The apartment was left very clean. This apartment has a separate bedroom with closet space, living room with sofa, kitchen with table and bathroom with separate western style shower. Both the living room and kitchen have patio doors to large covered balcony. This wall lets in extensive natural light. The balcony was a big bonus providing extra living area for all weather. The location is perfect being down a quiet alley but near all the great amenities of the West Lake Area in Hanoi. This is the most quiet place we have stayed in this area. It is also easy for the Grab and Taxi drivers to locate. There is nothing we didn't like about this apartment.

- Rituraj (1/5): The host was having a bad day and made it our problem. - The communication by the host was not up to the mark. On the day of the booking, I reached out to the host in the morning and was told that there is some issue with one of the water heaters in our rooms. The host wanted us to move to another property to which we said no. We were ready to adjust and fine with using only one of the bathrooms as long as we could use both the bedrooms. Upon reaching the property we realized that we had only been given check-in instructions for one of the rooms. When we asked the host for the other room's access they refused. We asked for extra bedding as a compromise, which was also denied. We were pushed to move to another property of the host which was in bad shape and totally different from the one we had originally booked. We asked for help with moving our bags to the new place and were denied again. In all of this, we had to waste a lot of our time which we could have spent exploring the city. As the cherry on top, the host told us that we were not sympathetic enough to their problems.

Place was spacious and all amenities were in reasonable condition. Place was not organised. We turned up in the evening with family and there was no one there to help us check in. We had to wait outside while I contacted the place to get check in instructions. We got in the room and found the room had not been cleaned at all with rubbish still everywhere. The towels seemed clean but one set smelt damp. They gave us a different room but it took a while for us to get the key which meant we couldn't go out.

- Carola (6/5): Spacious apartment, non-responsive host. - The apartment is spacious with two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms, and the layout would be great for two couples sharing the place. The location was fairly quiet about 15 minutes by GRAB to the Old Town, yet not too far from some local restaurants close to the lake. The host was very non-communicative and did not even respond to a request for assistance when the washing machine leaked and flooded the entire kitchen floor. Starkly different from other hosts in Vietnam who bend backwards to make their guests comfortable. The kitchen was minimally equipped, eg there was no pan or anything we could have used to fry some eggs, and cleanliness could have been better. Lastly, the host provided a link for payment by credit card and added the usual 2-3% for this service. Yet, when I completed payment through the link provided, I was charged another service charge on top of that. When I asked the host about that, she did not respond in any way. Not impressed!

Pictures accurately depicts the apartment. So, if someone likes to stay away from the hustle bustle of the city centre can certainly book this. Ideal for a small family. Only 01 wash room for 2 bedrooms.

At the entrance to the building there is a security camera and a locked gate, so you can have peace of mind It should be taken into account that there are no cleaning services, change of towels/bedding or supply of toilet paper (if you run out), you must purchase toilet paper, laundry detergent and wash towels by yourself and also take out the trash. Since we stayed in the apartment for over two weeks it was a bit difficult for us. but I believe that a short stay of 1-3 days is fine It should be emphasized that the apartment is based on the same principle of renting an apartment The apartment is far from the old city and absolutely no soundproofing

The host downstairs was lovely and easy to sort things out with -- held our luggage for us and helped me when our water delivery guy couldn't find the place. The kitchen could use some more basics/out with the old -- we were there for 4 nights so we did cook and the main large white spatula was heavily stained brown/orange. The kitchen lacked mugs (literally not a single mug), and a press/machine for making coffee which is something we would have definitely used had we had the option. The place itself was up to date but then in each room, there were cosmetics that one might think could be easily fixed like a huge mark on the wall in the living room, and random stains on the bedroom walls. The description says "soundproof" but it is not actually -- you absolutely hear the morning hustle of Tay Ho.

Charging full night amount for 6 hours, really hurts. If you are arriving midnight or checking out late evening, you have to pay full night charges
- Anahita (9/5): Clean, cosy and comfortable. - The entire apartment was very nicely done up and well stocked with everything you need for a short to long stay, including a selection of books (that was a nice touch). Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Very easy to go in and out of the apartment at any time of day or night. Nicely located, within walking distance of lots of cute restaurants, cafes and bars. Also very close to supermarkets and mini marts. We had to pay upfront which was easy to do via a link provided by the hosts. There was a little bit of confusion while trying to find the apartment but we managed in the end. A sign outside could help. Another con was that the power to the flat was turned off before we got there which meant the fridge was also switched off and had become slightly smelly.

- Joyce (9/5): Lovely apartment! - The apartment that I originally booked wasn't available, but they were kind enough to alert me and propose a new location ahead of time. The replacement apartment was amazing. It was a beautifully decorated unit with a balcony (the view was nice!), a bathtub which I definitely enjoyed, and everything else that I could need. There were also food options nearby. Definitely good value for money! There was confusion about the check-in and payment at first due to the language barrier, but we figured it out in the end. Overall, it was a satisfying stay.

The whole apartment was quite big, there was even a washing machine and balcony. You are situated just next to West Lake, but still pretty close to the old quarter. The entrance is little bit hidden in the back street and we arrived during night, so we weren't sure whether we are at the right place at first.

The washing machine in combination with the dryer is the shining point as I can do my clothing very conveniently. Only one minor point is that there was no electric fan in the room. - Marco (8/5): Great apartment surrounded by construction. - The apartment is in a very good location in terms of western food and drinks, super markets, cinema and of course the westlake. It’s a new big and bright apartment. The lady who takes care the house is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The property is surrounded by noisy construction. I think there are 3-4 buildings right next to it under construction, what makes the area very noisy and dusty. I think this should be mentioned in the description. And this are some suggestions for improvement: • The internet connection inside the bedroom could be better and a bathmat and some more glasses would be great. • The quality of pillows, blankets and fabric of the bedsheets are not really comfortable.

- Emmanuel (9/5): very good value for money and practical - its a clean apartment in a nice area of the city, owner when you get her on whatsapp seems super flexible and answer fast, it was easy to check in and check out. very helpful even if we stayed only a day. just for improvement remark: I think wifi is not working well enough in rooms, the reception signal was bad on my phone while in bedroom. Also there is a washmachine and everything to cook, but i think would be nice to have some oil or powder to clean your clothes available, its not about money but service, we had to buy like a rather big washing machine powder to just one time. As it is now all around there is some building renovation, it didn't bother me, but just you to know, I think 1-2y after my message it will a super area tho!
