• Masami (4/5): - Good location. Has a kitchen. We booked in for 6 weeks. When we booked we got a message that there would be daily cleaning and a clear guide on where to find the keys and get access to the apartment. Keys were in a lock box in some random garden bed across the street. The code was to be sent the day before arrival. Code did not arrive until I made contact. Upon arrival the keys were not in the specified location but locked to a drain pipe in an adjacent car park. I was not impressed to be scrambling around in somebody else's private property to find keys at 10pm after a 12 hour international flight. Cleaner did not arrive after the first night. Made contact with the owners to ask when they would come. A week went by before what could be called a response to our query was returned. No cleaning for 6 weeks. When pushed for replenishment of consumables, was given a code to get access to the cleaners cupboard. Plenty of stuff within, including already rotting fruit. What was the plan? Leave the fruit there for another 6 weeks, rotting, while we were in the room? Overall management by this company was poor and service delivered was not as advertised. Booking.com was also contacted for assistance but offered only limited assistance. Sheets in the cleaners cupboard were torn, towels were worn and needed replacing. There is nothing Japanese about this room, no bath, no where to store your shoes when you come in. Very Australian facility and standards fully kitted by IKEA.

Great shower. Clean. Internally a bit noisy. Hard for one person to sleep while another has a shower. Just to be aware if you are super light sleepers.

• Graeme (8/5): Recommended for easy access to central Canberra - Location is excellent, provision of some fruit/snacks was very kind. Synthetic material of sheets on beds, some outdated info on the site re location of keys was unfortunate, but resolved quickly.

Changing the location of the key and not informing me until i was looking for it and had to email asking where it was. Towels were also rather thread bare and lack of hangers in the bathroom.

• Kathy (9/5): Very handy location. - Not used but a good selection. I received out dated information for the key collection when I booked and was looking for a key in the wrong place. The host had sent me the correct information which went to my junk email.
• Geoffrey (10/5): Canberra is a top holiday spot for the courteous and this accommodation allows you to do it worry free. - Highly enjoyable experience. The location is superb if you wish to explore Canberra on foot. Only a 5 min walk to the central bus station or the light rail. The accommodation was easy to access, clean and well resourced particularly if you want to self cater. It is situated close to restaurants if cooking isn’t your thing. We stayed six nights, went to Floraide, The Street Theatre, The Arts Centre in Queanbeyan, as well as most of the public buildings. It was great to come home to a safe place. Can’t think of anything not to like.

The location was central to all the attractions in Canberra and there were a number of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Couch and towels are probably due for an update (would go with lighter colours)

• Rob (7/5): Some good but spoilt by a lack of attention to detail - Location and the shower was very good The bed mattress were too soft. The coffee machine was hot and miss, sometimes the pods went straight in other times it felt like if you pressed any harder it would break! The TV was very slow loading apps but the most annoying part of the stay was the breakfast and condiments. They were all open, not individually sealed. We did not use any of the cereals or spreads as we did not know who had used them prior or what they could contain. You should provide individually sealed packets or not provide it at all.

Loved the long layout which made the apartment feel a bit more spacious. Lots of breakfast (and a few other) treats in the cupboard and fridge which were appreciated. Comfortable and clean with loads of restaurants, food trucks, and bars nearby but still very quiet in the apartment. Definitely a livelier Canberra area!

• Brian (6/5): Very disappointed - Location was fine. I chose it in particular for my mother, thinking there was a Japanese theme/flavour. There was absolutely nothing Japanese about it. I don’t understand why it is advertised as such. Hugely disappointed. Also, I cut my head getting out of bed in bedroom 2. The bed is situated right up against a corner wall/feature, and when I sat up, I hit my head on the corner of the wall. This resulted in not going out for the day as planned with my mother. The whole thing was ridiculously unnecessary. This was not a good choice for us, having driven up from Victoria as a treat for my 92 year old mother. ☹️

• William (9/5): Overall a pleasant and cosy stay. - Very cosy and comfortable stay. Not big but just okay for a young family with two young kids. My kids love the Japanese style sofa and coffee table in the living room. The sink in bathroom is lower than normal but just good for the kids. The floor is not vey clean. Kids love walking bare feet and their feet got pretty dirty just walking from the door to the living room (a few metres). Though it says breakfast provided, it is the cereal in cans and already opened longlife milk in fridge which we are reluctant to use as we don’t know how long it has been opened and stored.

• Sang (3/5): Poor - The property was in a great location, very close to the CBD. The host is the worst I have ever experienced. The host messaged in the last minute that the location of the lock box had changed. The photos of the lock box location they sent did not download. As a result, I telephoned both hosts. One of the hosts, Hong, texted me that he was no longer looking after the property and asked me to contact Jacky. I had already contacted Jacky several times and even left a text. Jacky did not return my call or text. I put two and two together to locate the lock box and the keys. However, during my stay and even after I checked out, Jacky did not return my call or even call to check up on what happened. Extremely poor!!!

Many thanks also for meeting us to provide keys, at time suitable to us, excellent service. Very clean, very comfy beds, heaps of pillows, superb! These little things could help: It could do with a wire shelf hanging from the shower hose, just to hold my soap and my facewasher. Needs rails to hold my swim towel and bath towel, hooks mean they dont dry. Needs more teaspoons. Please offer gluten free bread option for brekky I am being picky, but overall very pleased.

This is a lovely apartment located right in the heart of the city, with restaurants, bars, and all the vibrant spots in Canberra just a short walk away. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, providing some basic breakfast items at no extra cost. However, note that there isn’t a separate breakfast service in the morning, so there’s no need to pay extra for the breakfast option on Booking.com—it’s a bit misleading. Overall, the host was very friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Canberra!

• Joanna (10/5): Great location, clean, comfortable and modern unit. - The accommodation is a 2 BR unit on the 3rd floor of a residential unit complex. There was secure underground car parking. The unit was clean, comfortable and modern. Hong the host had supplied fruits, cereals, tea, coffee and milk and other snacks. The location was perfect- quiet but walking distance to a major shopping centre, as well as multiple restaurants. Hong met us to hand over the keys, he was very easy to contact if necessary. Thank you Hong for a great stay! Nothing!

The tastes of any guest would be satisfied The lounge chairs were not comfortable but one of the bedroom pillows helped. Also I tried to access Netflix and it asked me to sign in or sign up for a month. No thanks. Otherwise the TV was OK.

They were very helpful when I left my phone in Sydney with all info relating to access, keys, etc. 2nd bedroom was fold-away with no wardrobe, or anywhere for clothing or luggage. We were 2 couples, having to share one bathroom with no ensuite. The booking included breakfast & we were surprised to see food was provided in cupboards & fridge & fruit, so it was actually a self contained BNB.

• Michael (10/5): EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATION IN CANBERRA CBD - We searched for a property within the CBD and this property really ticked the boxes of being a good size, comfortable, and within a short walk of dozens of restaurants, cafes and food trucks in the Canberra city centre. There was nothing we could fault with the apartment whatsoever. There was a lovely selection of beverage and food in the apartment, plenty of storage, good WiFi, and the cooking facilities and equipment were totally spotless. The car park was easily accessible, and the check in and check out instructions for the apartment were extremely clear and simple to understand This was a very good accommodation experience for us. Communication with Hong, the manager, was excellent. You know, I've tried, but there was nothing to complain about at all for us. The bedrooms were comfortable, beds were good, washing machine worked, soaps and consumables were all there. TV remote worked. NOTHING wrong at all.

The apartment had everything you need and more for a short or extended stay. Hong was extremely welcoming and easy to communicate with.

Hong was friendly and flexible. We postponed our stay by one day due to severe weather, and Hong was kind enough to accept it with no extra charge. All in all, it was a great experience. It would be nice to have a faster wifi speed:)
