- Terry (8/5): - The apartment was very convenient for our purposes 1. The apartment could do with more kitchen utensils, crockery etc
2.The noise from the overhead apartment early morning and late evening was intrusive.
- Anonymous (8/5): Overall it was a nice, clean comfortable place to stay. - At this separate suite there were adequate kitchen facilities to make breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice having a backyard. The only issue was with the alarms on the last few days. The alarm waking me up in the night and going off sometimes during the day.
I was given instructions to turn it off, so that was good.
- Lisa (10/5): Comfortable and clean for an out of towner coming in for work. - I liked the privacy of the facility and how clean it was. I also liked that it was 10 minutes drive to the building that I was working at for the 5 days. I did find the noise of the upstairs after 9:30 pm too loud as I was trying to get some sleep.
- A (3/5): Noisy! - Good location and the landlord was nice. Firstly, this is a basement flat which has very little to no noise proofing with the property upstairs. As a basement flat the problem that we had was that there was a very noisy family upstairs that was running around, jumping up and down at early hours (around 6 in the morning) and late at night (up to 11pm to midnight). This was quite untolerable and woke us up frequently. We intially complained to the after 2/3 nights landlord, and the family travelled out, which was peaceful, but they returned and the horrible noises started again, despite telling the landlord who did inform us that he tried warning the family. This ruined the trip considerably, as we were just sleep deprived and not refreshed at all.
