• Sally ann (8/5): Great house in a perfect setting. Generous host - Loved the setting and elevation. The house is amazing and very comfortable but in need of some maintenance. Although the fine print states that the owner is downstairs, because the property states in description that ‘you have the entire place to yourselves’ I didn’t keep reading. The host is lovely and quiet also, but TBH I would not have booked had I realised that he would be below us.

• Michael (4/5): Beautiful house in an idyllic location, unfortunately the owner seems a little resentful of guests staying- was uncontac - Beautiful house in an idyllic location No hot water , hot showers. The ‘owner’ promptly disappeared after introducing himself, leaving us to figure out how to re connect the gas supply and discover that there would be no hot water. I also dislike it that poison traps were used at the house- these are completely inappropriate to use in the World Heritage listed Daintree national park and is killing our protected native species - (marsupials and predators of marsupials). This should not be allowed.
• Jamie (10/5): I hope to be back! - A proper raw 'luxury jungle' experience. - no AC, no bug screens but an exquisite space and location for a group - exactly what was wanted. Not for everybody but if comfort in nature is your thing then it'll be hard to beat this place for the price! Nit picking - More info on the power situation during the booking would have been good for understanding the property (I had not realised we were on batteries and perhaps that is my error for not reading thoroughly) - being on batteries is in no way a negative but it does change the mentality of power consumption. There was defiantly the occasional whiff of 'grey water' whilst enjoying the creek, transient but present - the overall experience far outweighs this unpleasantness and so still deserves an exceptional review!
• Bill (8/5): Loved every minute of it!! - Location Location Location. A delight to walk down a short path and straight into a crystal clear running creek. Exceptionally clean on arrival and access to the property was very easy. Amenities were in good order. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen (we like to cook), beds were very comfortable. The vista is spectacular. It was wonderful sitting on the balcony feeling a part of the tree tops. Brilliant place!! Not really anything not to like but I do have a small recommendation. The ceiling fans were bloody confusing!! They worked then they didn’t. Couldn’t control the speed on some. Perhaps an instruction sheet for guests would be good. And maybe a service is due (knowing full well how hard it is to get a tradie up to you at the moment).

• Tara (9/5): Magical spot - Lovely house in an absolutely beautiful spot, surrounded by rainforest and a fresh swimming hole right outside. The owners/hosts were also very responsive and helpful leading up to, and during, our stay.
