Guest Reviews

- Lynn (10/5): Relaxing - Spa fire pit
- Marion (10/5): Beautiful host! - Relaxing and clean Slightly remote
- Lyn Drohomyretskyy (10/5): Rejuvenating escape to the country. - Very clean and made comfortable for cold weather with fireplace, heated blankets and extra blankets if needed. Thoughtful touches including a fresh baked loaf of bread waiting for us and fresh eggs. Kids were excited at the paddock full of cows and calves who seemed to herald our arrival haha. Jacuzzi was delightful. And if you get up early enough you get to see rabbits or roos grazing nearby while you sit on the loo! Nothing. It met all of our expectations.
- Nigel (10/5): Lovely stay, open fire and freshly baked bread on arrival. Thanks for a lovely winter stay. - Beautiful setting
- Alice (10/5): The Perfect Relaxing Winters Stay - The property is gorgeous. We absolutely loved the farm cottage feels. It has everything for a winter stay....pot belly fireplace, outdoor firepit and a toasty warm spa. The spa is on a timer so no need to fiddle with buttons and ruin it. The home itself is the perfect old qld cottage style but has been kept up to date. It was clean, has comfortable beds, a BBQ, outdoor dining set, lots of firewood, fresh farm eggs. It was so lovely to relax here with my girlfirends. We drove into the small town of Allora and had breakfast at the little Cafe. Coffee was actually good to my surprise. Then enjoyed a bushwalk on the property, before hitting the spa with our cocktails.
The host is on the property next door and was so accommodating. She even spoilt us with fresh home made bread still warm from her oven. We definitely recommend a stay here. Nothing. If you want to be in a town within distance to walk to shops etc, then this isnt for you. We stopped in Boonah on our way to the property and did some wine tasting along our travels. But once at the property, we wanted to relax with our wines, cocktails, cheese platter and play cards/read/gossip etc.
- Liesel (10/5): - Beautiful cottage, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The owner welcomed us with freshly baked bread and locally sourced olive oil. Loved the fire pit, barbeque and hot tub. Stunning surroundings with the cows grazing close to our cottage. We collected freshly laid eggs each day. Can highly recommend!

- Alfredo (8/5): Excellent house for a weekend scape. - Hosts looked after us at every single moment, they brought us dry wood ( it was raining when we arrived ) , home-made bread and so on.
Location and views were so great. Quiet place. Bed are incredibly comfortable. Nothing , everything was perfect
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, quaint country cottage nestled in a peaceful and picturesque setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially collecting fresh eggs, soaking up the bush setting and the sounds of wildlife. The sunset's were stunning, and relaxing in the hot tub and around firepit were also highlights.
Thanks to our hosts for the amazingly delicious fresh bread shortly after arrival!
The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and surprisingly big, especially the bathroom. We could have stayed for longer!!
Nothing major (fridge was a little small). It's suitable for a couple (for 2 nights) but a little tight for 4 people.
- Webster (8/5): Totally relaxing. - The rural setting, the silence. The cottage was very well equipped, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Nothing.
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janine (10/5): Beautiful cottage in the perfect location to enjoy a peaceful weekend away. We will be back :) - The cottage is equipped with everything you could need, the hosts also kindly provided fresh eggs and a beautiful freshly baked loaf of sourdough. Love the dappled glass windows throughout, the spacious bathroom and cosy kitchen. Enjoyed the lovely spa pool and seating on the verandah too, with a view of the property. Tranquil and beautiful!
- Roger (8/5): we really liked the location but it was overpriced for the current market - Only one bathroom and as we had a partialy disabled guest the bathroom would have been better with the likes of holding rails.
- Lee (9/5): Superb -
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zac (9/5): Will be back for sure - The quietness. Host met us with farm fresh eggs and a lovely smile.
Hot tub was awesome with the cool air.
Sounds of birds and the cows just tranquil.
Bed was comfy too Lounge was big enough for 1 person to lay on. Not big enough for 2 people to cuddle up with the fire going. But no biggy.
- Nicol (9/5): very nice quiet and secluded - quiet and clean need oven & DVD player
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Nice quiet location in the country, unfortunately it was a very wet weekend, so didn't get to enjoy the fire pit. The beds were a little soft
- Leeanne (10/5): Exceptional - Private, very quiet. Fresh eggs from the chickens. Very comfortable bed.
Away with a client, very accommodating.
Great kitchen and spa on deck. It was great
- Karen (10/5): It was just a beautiful property. It certainly gave us the wow factor from the minute we walked in. It was everything yo - It was well equipped, very clean, and quiet. Lots of nice touches. We loved the spa and the outdoor area and used this area a lot. The house felt very homey. The fireplace was used the whole time. Beautiful sunsets in the afternoon. If there was one little thing it would be the lounge chair was only big enough for the 2 of us to really relax in front of the fire and tv. We bought movies to watch so one of us lay on the floor. The single chairs not as comfy. This is minor and might not apply to everyone. We used outside or dining table majority of time
- Hannah (9/5): Superb -
- Teun (8/5): Beautiful house in quiet country setting. Perfect to get away from it all. - Location of the house and it’s character.
