- Kristen (7/5): A - A 2 minute walk to the beach. Bathrooms and kitchen had been tastefully renovated Paying over $900 a night, you would be expecting luxe. It looked newly renovated and the heated bathroom floors were lovely. It was cute for one night, but I would have been very unhappy paying this price each night for more than this.
It just wasn’t worth the price.
I feel like this properly is in mid renovation mode, and we just happened to book so they went ahead.
On the outside there was a discarded sink on the deck, gardens overgrown. 2 pieces of firewood and we had to go to the side of the house to grab more.
No tea bags (which I was advised were provided) Fire lighter didn’t work so we had to go to the shops to buy one, (and left at the property for the next guests) no extra blankets or rugs,
The house was freezing. Even with the fire and air con on. There was one oil heater in one room downstairs. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t have them in both rooms.
These may seem all insignificant, but if I’m gong to pay almost $1000 a night. I’m expecting luxe, comfy, no expense spared type of home.
