Guest Reviews
- Tamara (10/5): Bien - La distribución La moqueta del suelo
- Roman (4/5): Would not go there again. - After a bit of being in the apartment, it is actually equipped with everything you would need. The beds are quite comfy, everything (you come in contact with) is clean. So it is not as bad as it first seems.
Walking distance to tube, is not the worst, but it takes 15 min. Tower Bridge is 10 minutes. Restaurants and fast food places are all not far away. Our family had at first a little breakdown when we saw the house and the apartment. It is all in a generally bad condition. The walls have marks, the open pipes for heating all around the flat are dirty, the ground is uneven. There is a warning to not wear boots inside - it is the first impulse to keep them on, but that would make matters worse of course.
The house itself and the direct neighborhood is the bigger problem. If you take the lift, all is good. If you take the stairs, you might stumble over homeless people, looking for shelter. It smells like that anyway, when no one is there. To be clear, there was one man, sleeping on the highest level, where the apartment is located.
On the streets, you would not expect to find a rental apartment there...a bit spooky. We had a guy with a full black face mask (it was 12 degrees) walking behind us. Nothing bad happened. But it's the kind of neighborhood were you do not feel the safest in the dark.
For what it is, the apartment is simply too expensive.
But it is London after all, so the prices are high and the quality of the accommodations are generally not. So it is hard to find something good anyway.

- Eubank (10/5): Exceptional - The location was pretty great and close to the tube station. The bathroom was nice and clean, and the beds were super comfy. The door took a bit to learn how to lock/unlock, but wasn't bad at all. We stayed here with 5 girls total, and it suited us perfectly.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - great view, comfy beds
- Michael (4/5): Disappointing - Never any car spaces at to park on the the road the first day which cost £40, then needed to get Uber taxis to and from work the rest of the stay .
- Mark (2/5): Unsafe building due to rough sleepers in the building - On both nights in the property, there was a homeless guy/junkie and his dog literally camped out in the stairwell right next to our apartment. He brought all his mess with him, he left all his stuff there including alcohol and drugs - it was horrible. He also posted some rubbish through our letter box. We did not feel safe at all in this complex once he turned up. If the lift didn’t work, we wouldn’t have been able to get up and down the stairs.
If we had our kids with us it simply would be a highly vulnerable place for them to stay.
I appreciate you can’t control who comes and goes in to the building but this should’ve been put in your advertisement as it’s clearly an ongoing problem which was made evident by notices in the property from the Police. Building is unpleasant also.
Photos attached. Booking.com informed. Informed property of this when checking out but got the feeling we weren’t being taken seriously as ‘it hasn’t been an issue before’ - clearly a load of rubbish as there were notices up all over and mess all over the stairs on arrival.
- Dharminder (5/5): The stay overall was okay, the flat was in a convenient location and it was nice and clean. The heating situation did ha - The flat was near the centre and a short walk away from POIs The owner texted us saying the heating was left off accidentally and to turn it on, on arrival. The rooms were freezing cold as a consequence. They also told us that the heating was on a timer and would only get on during the afternoon, which didn’t make too much sense as the next days the heating stayed on throughout the days, seemed to be less of an accident and more of it being done on purpose to us
- Gennaro (10/5): Fantastic view of the Shard - Great location, well furnished. Amazing view over the city. Very easy check-in
- Henni (7/5): Great host and close to great restaurants - The host was amazing with communication. Even before I arrived or with any questions during our stay he answered quickly. This location has 2 bedrooms, great closet space in both rooms, a laundry washing machine, everyday kitchen needs, full-size refrigerator, toaster (great for bagels & toast) were available as well. Which is exactly what we needed. The walk from London Bridge was a touch further than the other stop, but it is a much nicer walk due to the neighbourhood and restaurants along the way. The actual location is a bit sketch, but we never really came home late as we were out early and came home after dinner to get ready for another fabulous day in London. We ate a few meals just in the nearby area because there were so many options on the way. The apartment needs a bit of a renovation due to the wonky floorboards in the hallway and the broken toilet paper holder on the wall. The building itself is older and dirty, but once you are in the apartment it is quiet and clean.
- Oranie (10/5): The whole family was fully satisfied with our stay/accommodation! - We usually say, “There’s no place like home!” but, I can say, “It was our second home!” The place is clean and well organized/fully furnished. Complete kitchenwares were provided, and in addition to that, coffee, tea and sugar were available for use! Accessible to transportations, stores, restaurants and bakery. We just walked going to the Tower Bridge and captured memories! None so far…
- Kyle (5/5): Passable - affordable for 6 for london Rough neighbourhood, mold on the bedsheets, rundown and dirty apartment.
- Faith (8/5): clean and comfortable, perfect for small family - so clean and comfortable. location was perfect. minor maintenance issues with the drains
- Sapp (7/5): Great location for the price. - Location was perfect for us. Very clean! Owner communicated well. Being from another country, we didn’t know how a few items worked. The hot water for showers never got very warm.
- Matthew (8/5): Would recommend - Nice clean apartment. Free parking a huge bonus. About a 10 min walk to nearest tube station
- Clive (9/5): Great practical location near the City and Tower Bridge with amazing views. - We most enjoyed being within walking distance of London’s excellent public transport and many major places of interest. We also loved that the property was in a residential area and so allowed us to experience a bit more of what living in London might be like. And the view of the city was outstanding! The property could be seen as a bit rough around the edges but this was not really a problem, as it was reflective of its age and location. There were some minor issues with rubbish outside the building initially but these were rectified during our stay.
- Thomas (9/5): Excellent base for inner London - Excellent location walking distance to the shard etc. Residential appartment with all you need. Parking and check-in easy.
- Ovidijus (9/5): Superb -
- Adora (9/5): ⁶ - It was a very convenient location with good bus connectivity for sightseeing & the parking space was bonus . The owners were v helpful too There are many similar looking buildings
- Les (7/5): Good - Good location, clean space There were no toiletries/soap as advertised, the place needs some repair -like some windows were hard to open and close because they seem broken and the radiators and towel warmer didn't work.
- Sherree (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (8/5): Good value for money. - Location - view of the Shard exceptional especially during Summer. Loved the beddings. Entrance to Building could be cleaner.
