- Richard (10/5): Welcoming Family by the Creek - Location wise, perfect. The ambiece of the inn is excellent especially the staff. I am happy Michelle, the owner communicated to me through Whatsapp ahead of my arrival. It is a family team with her brother Su and sister Xiao lan. Food is great and my room has the panoramic view of Guilin hills (as I intended). Super amazing service and facilities. With Michelle helping me with my unplanned tour for the next day. Truly recommended place. There is a lagoon or creek you can walk around and the view is stunning, day and night. They also offer body massage at affordable rates. The beer is very cheaper yet tastes great. Breakfast has 2 choices, the Chinese menu and international taste. I never had problem with payments. Visa card is accepted. Still I downloaded WeChat App for everyday use (linked to my bank) which is convenient for everyday pay wherever you go, small and big enterprises alike. For shorter than 3 day stay you can arrange with Michelle a taxi at the airport to pick you up for 100Chinese Yuan. It is nice to stay in a hotel that has your full attention and love and care. Let alone even a little English the staff can communicate. There is nothing negative about this place nir about my stay. I recommend everyone to STAY at this Inn.

There's two set breakfast meals only, there's some orange juice and lemon water and coffee made by the staff. I didn't tried the lunch menus because I've been out every day but I had evening meals 3-4 times which were delicious

She helped me not only organize trips and taxis, but also get a local sim card in the middle of a bank holiday! The cuisine us delicious, rooms very clean. The location is beautiful, but you need a bike, scooter or a taxi to go downtown. But bikes and scooters are available free of charge!

They helped us with our day trips, showed us the local area and even helped one of us when we were feeling unwell. The location of this inn is a little out of the way but suited us fine as we could get taxis/the hotel driver to drop us off at the ports and train station really easily and the area was really quiet and homely with amazing views. The rooms were very clean and spacious and we ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner every day of our stay and we're very satisfied with their vegetarian options.

- Julie (10/5): Gorgeous boutique hotel with lovely owners - This really is the most lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night before our Li River cruise but Michelle and her sister and brother were so welcoming. Our room was just lovely, so homely and the bed was really comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel and the hand made spring rolls were the best we’ve had in China. Beautiful location to walk along the river. Nothing, it was all great.

The location was tranquil, we could use the very good bicycles from the accommodation and they offered a fun dumpling making class which was interesting and delicious! It was somewhat located from the city center by taxi or bike but they had everything we needed with home cooked meals and a nice view from the room.

- Jedaiah (10/5): - Me and my family stayed here for 3 nights and this was our favourite hotel of our 3 week trip! The views from this hotel are incredible and we had such a lovely experience. Michelle let us check in early as it was low season and we were so grateful after doing a sleeper train with our toddler. Michelle and the team were so friendly and great with our toddler! They had a little play area that he loved in the hotel and we ate dinner here must nights after being out all day. Also the Reed flute caves are about a 10 minute walk away (not even that) and the hotel sorted out so many things for us to do. PS - If you have dinner here, you MUST have the spring rolls, they were the best in China! Nothing - everything was perfect and we enjoyed every second we stayed here.

The accomodation is outside Gulin’s city centre, just a 15 minutes Didi’a drive. I’ve appreciated the peaceful environment and the rural atmosphere outside the hotel. Room was very spacious with great view on the iconic mountains of Guilin. Breakfast was ok.

With tea and fruit on arrival, always there to help out with booking trips, giving dumpling workshops, guiding us around on the local market, making delicious meals, providing us with meds when our son got sick one night. And much more. The room was cozy and cleaned every day. It was winter when we were there, but the heating system made it nice and comfortable. The meals in the restaurant downstairs are fresh and made with a lot of love. And we could even borrow the owners bikes with kids seats for free, with which we made some amazing bike rides through the area. You're half an hour bike ride away from the city. And with a taxi (very cheap) you can reach several interesting places in the bigger area. Apart from the owner who speaks good English, the rest of the staff doesn't master much English. That sometimes led to some misunderstandings with ordering food. But they definitely tried their best. And a translate app helps you out, but costs some effort. The balcony is not fully private, since the staff sometimes need to pass over, so you gotta keep your curtains closed for some privacy.

- Donnell (10/5): 5 days stay - The staff Michelle and her sister were super helpful and made my family of 5 feel so at home. We were picked up from the airport on arrival organised by the hotel. The greeted us at the door even though we arrived late. They also assisted us with washing our laundry for us without hesitation. They helped us to organise our trip to Yangshou with an experienced chauffeur. The rooms and bed were very comfortable and all my children slept well. Most importantly, they were so kind and friendly, it just made the difference! Nothing at all.

El desayuno y la cena muy buenos. La ubicación está bien, ya que está cerca caminando de la "Reed Flute Cave", y es una zona bonita, pero está retirada del centro de la ciudad. Para ir al centro hay que tomar un DIDI.

Michelle et son équipe sont aux petits soins et vous aident à vous organiser lors du séjour, ce qui est précieux. Les plats sont également très bons ! Organizan excursiones con precios muy correctos, prácticamente sin comisiones para ellos., son muy cercanos y acogedores. Se encuentra en una zona de Guiling muy natural, probablemente de lo poco que queda del área original de Guilin, cerca de las montañas kársticas y de las cuevas de la flauta de pan. Es mejor organizar el regreso en taxis directamente con el alojamiento.

- Lydia (10/5): Calm and relaxing stay in the beautiful countryside - Staff were amazing and very helpful. Beautiful view from our room, including a lovely sunrise most days. Nice and quiet, a bit out of the city which we preferred. We used the bikes to cycle into the city and the surrounding area. We also walked back from the city one evening but it’s quite far so would only recommend if you like walking. The red path around the river is lit up and night so it was quite pretty. Food was great when we ate at the hotel. We booked a private driver to the Longji rice paddies and tickets for the Reed Flute Cave through the hotel. It was also easy enough to arrange things ourselves like a trip to Yulong river. Highly recommend! Honestly, nothing :). It was perfect for us.

Przestronne pokoje z atrakcyjnym widokiem, dobre śniadanie, czysto i przyjemnie, niczego nie brakuje. Obiekt jest prowadzony przez rodzinę i dzięki temu panuje tutaj ciepła i przyjazna atmosfera, a dodatkowo można porozumieć się po angielsku, co jest dość rzadkie w Chinach. Na miejscu można wypożyczyć rowery, a także poprosić o pomoc w organizacji wycieczki na tarasy ryżowe lub okolic Yangshuo, pomagają kupić bilety na atrakcje i doradzają jak wszystko zorganizować. Bardzo polecam, cudownie spędziliśmy tutaj czas.

Besonders hat uns die familiäre Atmosphäre gefallen, sowie das sehr hilfsbereite Personal. Michelle und Ihre Familie haben uns bei der Organisation unserer Ausflüge geholfen und gute Tipps gegeben. Selbst Fahrräder wurden uns kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt. Auf unserem Ausflug zum Li-River hat uns Su als privater Fahrer begleitet und einen tollen Job gemacht. Er brachte uns an verschiedene Spots und ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Das Guilin Creek Inn können wir wärmstens empfehlen. Danke an das gesamte Team für den tollen Aufenthalt. Uns hat alles gefallen!

- Melissa (9/5): Comfortable homestay in a small and pretty village - It was located in quite a quaint quiet area of the Reed Flute Cave and connected to various short and easy cycling paths around the area and through the paddy fields. Host(Michelle) and her family were very friendly and helpful with our queries. Even stumbled upon a couple of tiny "museums" in the village, which was simple and easy to understand the area abit, although it wasn't particularly well maintained.1 We enjoyed our dinners at restaurants in the area (cycling/walking) even though we didn't particularly seek it out. All was good, but it's also because we were looking for a quieter place, and not to see Guilin city's other sights.

Niente risaie o viaggi nei villaggi tipici. Prezzi dei pasti in loco molto alti.

- Martin (3/5): - Although the room was quite nice, we had a problem with the staff or rather management of the hotel. At every interaction, it was notable, that their sole intention was to extract as much money as they could, instead of making guests feel comfortable. The room on booking for the same day was 40% lower, yet they would not discount it. Although they have facilities, they charge abnormal amounts. 1 wash of a small bag of clothes is 7,5 euros. Besides that, they also upscale all of their drinks, that you can buy from the fridge. (Which is in no way the common thing to do in china, we have not seen this kind of attitude in all of the 10 cities we have visited.) All around, even though the hotel is nice, we left feeling dissapointed.

Con il loro aiuto abbiamo organizzato le varie esperienze da provare nella zona ed è stato tutto perfetto. L'hotel inoltre ha un ristornate interno davvero ottimo se si ha voglia di rimanere per pranzo o cena.

We mochten fietsen lenen om de omgeving te verkennen. En we kregen veel tips en adviezen over de omgeving. Probeer zeker de menukaart van Michelle! Super lekker.
