- luciano (4/5): Cattivo rapporto qualità prezzo - Buona la posizione Camera piccola. Letto sottodimensionato con materasso costituito da due piccoli materassi singoli affiancati. Probabilmente un materasso matrimoniale standard non sarebbe entrato nella camera. Un solo cuscino a testa, insufficiente per chi vuole dormire con la testa in alto. Soffitto basso che si tocca con la mano e sensazione generale di claustrofobia. Nel bagno un lavandino microscopico: non immaginavo ne esistessero di così piccoli. All'arrivo odore di fogna che per fortuna è sfumato col tempo.

The location was different from what was shown on the booking map and google maps. It was hard to find a place to unpack as almost all the drawers were occupied. Allergic dust was present.

- Sergei (8/5): - It's a nice flat with some character rather than generic hotel-style furnishings; and with quite a well-equipped kitchenette to boot. The premises are quiet; there wasn't much of a view, but the internal courtyard was noise-free, which is a nice-to-have in very central location in a busy tourist-packed area. The property seemed clean and mostly in good condition. Complimentary water bottles, tea bags and coffee pods were a lovely bonus, indeed. The location was convenient, close to main attractions and transportation hubs; a couple of supermarkets were not too far, either. Multiple doors and locks and keys were a bit confusing; so was finding the right building - but the latter is not the flat's issue, it's just Venice. However, I'd be happy to get a little mini-map of where the right entrance is - prior to check-in, and a short print-out about keys and doors upon check-in, ideally. The duvet was a bit bizarre; I'd rather have a standard one.

The location is perfect — you are right in the center of all the main attractions, yet the courtyard is so peaceful and quiet, away from the tourist crowds. It truly is the best of both worlds. The apartment itself was a pleasant surprise! It looks smaller in the photos, but in reality, it is very spacious and sparkling clean. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly need, from a great coffee machine with delicious coffee to a stove and oven. A special huge thank you to Samuel. He is an amazing host! He personally met us, was incredibly kind, and helped us with every question we had. He really goes above and beyond for his guests. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you, Samuel, for making our Venice trip so special! 🫶🏼

Samuele, un poco más alejado pero buena ubicación en unas calles muy tranquilas y bonitas casas, a 10 min de la plaza . Muy confortable y limpio , aunque es cierto que pocos utensilios de cocina. Buen recibimiento y muy amables

Appreciated the complimentary water and coffee Bed very noisy, squeaks when you move Bed side lamp needs replacing as bent and flickers when turned on, could be a hazard. Bathroom shower needs somewhere to attach shower head too. More attention to cleaning detail No plates or bowls The complimentary tea box had one Chamomile tea bag in it, the rest all sugar and sweetener Locks aren't great, I was locked in the lobby for 20 minutes, luckily the apartment next door was being cleaned and someone came to help me get out.

- Aimilia (10/5): I had a great experience at Ca del Traghetto! A central, cozy and lovely place to stay! - Our stay in Venice was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, very central and within walking distance of all the main attractions. Yoy can go on foot at Marco square (5 minutes), at Rialto bridge (15 minutes), yet still quiet and comfortable. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming. He gave us excellent recommendations on what to visit and clear directions on how to get there, which really helped us make the most of our trip. His advice made our experience even more special. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our stay. We truly felt at home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. An amazing experience overall!

- Linda (7/5): Good position but didn't find agent that helpful. Would not have booked if I'd known about the steps - Good location for restaurants and water taxi to visit other areas. The apartment was a generous size but the decor was tied and worn. The water taxi we were told to get didn't run after 5pm so we had to get another and try to find our way to the apartment we had to ask 2 pedestrians and a shop owner the way. The agent didn't meet us and we struggled in the dark to see the key lock to the outside door. Once in, we had 27 steps from the courtyard to the main door. Not much fun with 5 bags. TV didn't work, agent came to fix and had argument with engineer as couldn't fix it.

Electrical connections really bad with even local appliances needing adapters. TV didn’t work due to antenna. Very dark despite lots of lights. Dusty. No washing facilities available to guests.

- YASMINA (3/5): - ATENCIÓN TuRISTAS DE VENEZIA. Los engaños en esta ciudad con las casas que se dedican a alquilar habitaciones a través de Booking son una auténtica estafa. Está claro que Venecia ya de por sí es cara, y si quieres ir a un hotel con instalaciones agradables prepara mínimo 350€. En este caso escogimos este booking sin saber que al llegar todo sería un fake. Las fotos son de gancho. Nos adjudicaron una habitación por la cual yo no había pagado. Las instalaciones dejaban mucho que desear. El agua caliente no funciona y si te das una ducha, el siguiente le toca agua fría. Realmente no me gustó absolutamente nada. No volveremos

- Cieran (3/5): I may has well slept in the canal. - … To start we contacted the property with our arrival time, they ignored this after requesting it from us, we got to the hotel at 3pm (the check in time) and no one was there. We texted the contact number, no response, we rang them and got an answer to which they said they were the other side of the island, from how they sounded they didn’t know we were even coming. An hour later they came over and let us in, fair enough they were apologetic but after traveling for so long we just wanted to get in the room. Later that night we went out and came back to everything in the living room area wet, which included our passports and my iPad. Unsure of how they got wet we contacted the owner and he said he would could by in the morning. We woke up to it raining inside the apartment… The owner came by and helped to clean it up, but at this point our stuff was drenched, and the trip was ruined. We stayed 2 nights, in which both of these our stuff got wet. We tried to contact for some sort of refund as we were obviously unhappy about and got completely ignored by the hotel.

- Cheryl (8/5): A true Venetian apartment, book it for the experience - The location is just outside the busy area, about 10 minute walk to square. It has a 3 key/door entrance, which I liked, quaint courtyard. If you want the quintessential Venice experience, book this place. It’s quirky, stocked full of furniture, but a true classic home filled with personal touches and interest. Usually it’s hard to find a place with a sofa, this has 3. It won’t be a western experience at all, hard bed, small shower, crazy looking tile, but it adds to the mood. You can just imagine the history it has seen. Sam was wonderful, he sent great instructions, met me at the entrance, was always available. It’s not a dislike, I loved it for the experience, but just a note, the bed is hard and the shower is handheld and small.

- Jorge (9/5): Buen apartamento en pleno corazón de Venecia - Ubicación en pleno corazón turístico de Venecia, en San Marcos. Apartamento con toda las facilidades de un alojamiento de tal tipo, para organizarse es diferente a un alojamiento que sea solo dormitorio. Samuel, el encargado de entregarnos la llave, muy atento y dispuesto, nos ofreció dejar las mochilas antes de entrar, que no nos hacía falta, y también a la salida, que nos permitió aprovechar el día de salida sin tener que cargar con el equipaje. Por poner un pero, no se especifica la dirección y hasta última hora no sabía exactamente donde era, por lo que dificulta si, como yo, te gusta tenerlo todo programado. Y por poner otra mejora tonta, una balda en la ducha vendría ideal, que a las personas que somos más bien grandes se nos queda estrechita la ducha para estar agachándonos a por las cosas.

- Miguel (9/5): - La llegada es buena, son pocos minutos desde el vaporetto, la comunicación con el alojamiento fue buena y nos dejó hacer check-in antes de tiempo, lo cual, para dejar equipaje es muy de agradecer. Recordad que hay que pagar una tasa por estancia en "metalico". Hay unas cuantas escaleras, muy estrechas para subir el equipaje, tenedlo en cuenta, por lo demás, bien.

Large room, comfortable large bed, well-equipped kitchenette. The host is very kind and helpful. Excellent value for money. I recommend it and will definitely use it again. Basically everything was fine!! A small shelf for cosmetics would be useful in the bathroom :)

Des bières et de l'eau dans le frigo nous attendaient :) Le manque d'isolation phonique avec l'autre chambre et le couloir. La marche dans la pièce... on se prend les pieds dedans à chaque fois.

We really liked the apartment itself, which was located in a very convenient place, and where for a couple of days we felt like real Venetians – a very beautiful apartment. All the appliances worked well. We recommend this accommodation if you want to experience the true spirit of the city.

- Sardus111 (5/5): Zona tranquilla ma struttura da migliorare - Posizione in Piscina di San Samuele a 400 metri dalla fermata vaporetto San Samulele al limite del Sestiere di San Marco. Trovati al nostro arrivo una decina di capsule per la macchina del caffè e due bottigliette d'acqua. Tranquillità della zona e possibilità di lasciare i bagagli oltre il check out L'appartamento non è un appartamento ma un monolocale con angolo cottura a vista. Si accede alla fine di una rampa di scale esterna abbastanza impegnativa e di una interna assai ripida pertanto non assolutamente adatto a persone con mobilità ridotta. Impossibilità di utilizzare l'angolo cottura perchè solo dopo l'arrivo ci è stato comunicato che la cucina dal giorno prima non era funzionante, frigorifero che necessita una sbrinatura per presenza di ghiaccio nel vano congelatore. La testiera del letto anni 70 con rilievi imbotttiti in velluto inutile perche solo appoggiata al muro e possibile ricettacolo di polvere. Tappeti in terra decorativi ma inutili e come sopra possibile concentrazione di acari e polvere. Incomprensibile che sotto i letti singoli con materassi singoli uniti a diventare un letto matrimoniale vi sia buttato per terra un materasso matrimoniale sicuro ricettacolo di polvere ed acari. Cuscini bassi e non comodi. Bagno con microscopico lavabo e bella doccia. E' presente nel bagno una rientranza nel muro dove è possibile appoggiare carta igienica phon, nessun porta ascigamani se non uno scaldasalviette elettrico dove gli asciugamani si accumulano rimanendo quindi umidi

That's how we learned that GPS sometimes disappears in Venice)) They waited for us, politely accompanying us by phone, giving us directions. In the room, two bottles of chilled water were waiting for us... and a gift - a bottle of prosecco. The apartment is cozy, the location is convenient, close to the main attractions. Atmospheric. Overall, the place is quite spacious and has a lot of storage space. We absolutely loved our host, Samuel, he was very friendly and helpful! He gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and made sure we had two bottles of water in the fridge - very thoughtful and highly appreciated! The location is also great, very close to the city center. If I were to visit Venice again, I would stay at this place once more! It was a bit hard to find the apartment, however, the host was very helpful and explained us how to get there.

It is very centrally located and you can quickly reach the most popular sights. Nevertheless, you have your peace and it’s quiet here. Samuel is very friendly and service-oriented. He always responded quickly to questions and helped if needed. If I come to Venice, I would stay here again.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Samuel was very kind. He met us on arrival and couldn't do enough for us. He left us a map and made it clear we could contact him at any time. The apartment was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. It was also a great location. Everything is within a short walking distance. The only thing we didn't like was the pillows but that comes down to personal preference.

- Nathalie (6/5): Nice cosy but crowded apartment in central Venice - location, friendly staff Samuel, sofa bed option, the blanc de blanc bottle for guest in the fridge, equipped kitchen though we looked for plates for a while and finally found them in a cabinet... Main bed too old, no space to open/place the luggage but huge wardrobe, nothing to put soap or shampoo in the shower, hot water taking ages to come, the apartment is a private crowded warehouse : too many things there 3 sofa, 2 TV in the living room (no guidance how to use), 2 dining tables, mattress hidden behind the bed sofa, leftover collection of liquid soap and shampoo taken all the space around the sink so much I left mine...

- Rogerio (8/5): Venetian local experience! - The host was amazing, very professional and kind! The apartment is very close to restaurants, shops and attractions. It is a true Venetian apartment, you will feel like a local! The hot water tank doesn't last long, you have to take a very fast shower!!!
