Clean, very lovely furnishings and everything you can imagine provided such as towels, linen, full kitchen facilities, games and toys for the kids! Comfortable beds and a very friendly host who was quick to respond to messages! Great location, easy walk to the beach and the lovely cafes and eateries of shoal bay Nothing I didn’t like!

• Chantelle (10/5): - The unit came with everything you could possibly need right down to kids cutlery. Was nice and quite even through it was next to the main Rd into Shoal Bay. Diggers Club within walking distance and bus stop out the front if required. The host was very prompt with answering my messages. Bathroom was abit small so if you needed room to move around this wouldn't be the best unit for you, however it was fine for us.

• Raymond (5/5): - Convenient to walk to the beach. However the location is too noisy as it is located at the road. Here’s a clearer, more polished rewrite with a firm but professional tone: We requested an early check-in at 12 noon but were initially told that check-in was strictly at 2:00 pm. Later, while we were travelling, we received a message advising that the room was available. The most frustrating issue was that only one toilet roll was provided for five adults. After searching the entire apartment, we had to message the owner, who responded that the cleaner had forgotten to restock due to our early check-in request. This response was extremely disappointing, especially considering the high amount paid for the accommodation. Additionally, the apartment was dusty and there were cockroaches throughout the property, which made the stay very unpleasant. Hence left the property at 9.20 am. Too many do's such as must leave at 10 am. Garbage must be emptied.

Water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. One minute cold, the next boiling hot. Would have preferred 100% cotton sheets.

• Monica (9/5): - The place was really nice and close to the beach I didnt like the fact that I was told I cold go in the apartment at 9am and when I got there wasn't allowed in until 2pm and I had food in the car that needed to go in the fridge 5 hours we had to wait
• Caitlin (8/5): - The location could not be anymore perfect!!! We attended a wedding at the country club and this was walking distance. It was very easy to check in and follow Maroné’s instructions. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and we were left a bottle of wine to enjoy! The towels were great quality as was the bedding! There’s no fly screen on the window in the bathroom so unfortunately when we checked in, there was a large amount of insects in there (both dead and alive) but all in all still a good stay!

It was easy to check in and the host was friendly and communicative when needed! The balcony was cute! Location is close to everything Sofa bed was not overly comfortable The pool was much smaller than anticipated.

We also liked the location, it is a beautiful stoll through Anzac Park to Shoal Beach and only a walk to the Shoalhaven shops and restaurants. Nothing of note.

Would recommended a stay here. Only nitpicking really as we enjoyed our stay! But a full roll of toilet paper would have been appreciated (we had to do a dash to Woolies) and instructions for the portacot.

Proximity to beach and local shops was useful but it's also a good base to get around the whole Port Stephens area. Great communication from owner! Nothing major to report

• Sara (10/5): A Beautiful Beach Apartment - The apartment was spotlessly clean. It was beautifully presented and had everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Every room had a balcony with seating and the master bedroom had a double aspect making it really bright. The beds were comfortable as was the lounge furniture. The location was ideal for us as we love peace and quiet. A short walk to the beach. We walked into Shoal Bay for the cafés. We were also able to walk into Little Beach and Nelson Bay. I did notice a bus stop outside the apartment but not sure how frequent the buses were. I would rebook without hesitation. We loved everything.

Also walked to Little Beach Boathouse, which is a lovely place to have a drink on deck over looking the water. Very Spacious living area & very comfortable. Dirty towels left in washing machine. No dishwasher tablets provided. Poor quality Bed Linen & pillows. Non stick pots & frypans need replacing as surfaces badly scratched.

• Jason (8/5): Perfect in every way apart from an issue with the bed. - Location was perfect, a short walk from the beach and also from Shoal Bay. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you needed. Was decorated to a high standard with lovely touches that made it feel very homely. It also felt very safe. Free parking was an added bonus. The evening we arrived, we realised that the bed was broken, meaning it slanted down on one side. This made for uncomfortable nights of sleep during our stay when we had booked this to be able to relax and recharge. We did make the host aware of this on the first day, but unfortunately nothing was able to be done about this during our stay. We would have loved to rate this accommodation higher, but the broken bed brought the score down for us.

• Michelle (9/5): Perfect spot for a weekend in Nelson Bay - The apartment was a great size and in the perfect location. We cycled to Fingal Bay, walked up Mount Tomaree and swam at Shoal Bay beach. The bedrooms were spacious and the balcony was an excellent spot to eat lunch in the sun. The kitchen was well equipped, although the cooktop was slow to heat. The bathroom was very small. The electric hot water system didn't get the water hot enough for a comfortable shower..
• Feng (9/5): Superb - It’s close to Shoal bay, 3-5 mins walking, it’s nice cosy little 2 bedroom unit. The pantry has over stuffed with expired honey, oil, knives. The shower doesn’t have enough hot water last for more than one person shower.

• Lyn (8/5): Suited us for a two night stay. - Location was good and the property suited our needs for a two night stay. The property had not been cleaned when we arrived around 2pm. It took a couple of hours to contact the owner on the emergency number provided and the cleaner eventually turned up at 5pm. We were promised a 30% reduction in our cost but to date I have not received a credit to my credit card. The pillows provided were very soft and provided no support. I think they need to improve the quality of the pillows, otherwise everything was good.

• Allan (2/5): Not recommended if you are have cleanliness in mind for family trip especially with elders and child - Nice warm apartment setting, suitable for family based stay. Unfortunately, several things are not with my expectations:. 1. Upon arrived, we have found the trash been left in the bin and not been empty. 2. We planned to celebrate my father birthday, so we put the provided plates & glasses to dishwasher for cleaning first before we use it. However, to the disappointment we then found out: a. there were 2 glasses which hard stain on the glass, looks like someone lips marks on them. I called to owner, and the response i got from her was that why concern on this glass when there are many other glasses to use. b. The dishwasher has a clear dent and cracks on; I called to owner which she has instructed continue to use it without problem and can use the provided sachet of washer liquid on it. During the dish - washing, the whole floor near the dishwasher flooded with foams and water leaked from dishwasher. There were also no notes or card mentioned to place half sachet or quarter sachet or washer liquid. The owner blamed me putting whole sachet on. However, she is happy to provide a discount on my stay due to this inconvenience caused. c. unclean mark and some see some human hair on toilet seat underneath at the bathroom. d. Oily marks and at BBQ burner at balcony, we decided not to use it. I have sent the photos to owner, and what disappointing to me was the response i have received from the owner was i am welcome to leave if i don't like it. I have decided to cut short my stay to only 1 night since. Very bad customer experience i have received when my intention was in good will to report some of my observation for her future business in this apartment. Not recommended if you are have cleanliness in mind for family trip especially with elders and children.

Good location enabling a short walk to shoal bsy shops and Nelson Bay. Easy beach access. Appreciated the lift. Lovely and quiet. Liked everything really. Perhaps a chair at the pool but this nay not be possible.
