• Christina (10/5): Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. - Wunderbar gelegene Unterkunft direkt am Meer. Super Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern, sehr herzlich und es wurden alle Informationen zeitnah übermittelt. Sollte man nachts geräuschempfindlich sein, empfehle ich eine Unterkunft mit Klimaanlage, da das Meeresrauschen recht laut ist, das Fenster zu schließen aber aufgrund der Wärme auch keine wirkliche Option ist.

• Xiao hui (10/5): Awesome place! - Tones Kainga is a wonderful place to stay – private and peaceful, with stunning sea and sunrise views. We loved sitting on the deck just watching the sea, and were lucky to spot whales cruising by and even breaching right in front of us. The hosts were lovely and very flexible with check-in and check-out, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Washing machine wasn’t working during our stay :(
• Scott (10/5): Perfect one bedroom cottage - It’s a perfect near new one bedroom cottage, with an awesome verandah and view. We saw whales both days. Between 4 and 6 is best :) It’s very well set up for self-catering, with condiments etc. The photos on booking.com don’t do it justice.

• Naomi (8/5): Very good - The sliding doors opened right up onto the deck with unobstructed views of the ocean, an outdoor shower after an ocean swim was the perfect rinse off, ceiling fans in the house for that added air conditioning, and the fact there were no mosquitoes (bonus). Very clean property both indoors & surrounding gardens. Location was ideal, close to the race venue at Avarua, shops either way & 24hrs, plus a cafe literally 1 min walk. The home has a wifi box, so you can purchase a wifi hotspot from Vodafone or any convenience store. We used Max for all our taxi needs, he was fabulous. He can be organised through the property. Scooters are an easy way to get around the island. (Need to get a license from the Police if you decide to use one) The sofa bed was not really the best for sleeping on, very uncomfortable & achy after a week. Best to bring cash to pay for your accommodation if coming from NZ or the bank next to the Police Station doesn't incur fees. Other than that international transfer fee applies & they are too small to charge your credit card through booking.com
• Esther (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location Whales cruzing by every day. Halve way between excellent snorkling places but far enough away from the main tourists. Very private. We were self catering however plenty of Papaw on the trees for us to eat every day. The driveway is a bit tight and tricky to see the traffic
• Teurukura (10/5): cant wait to go back and do it all again - everything about my stay was absolutely amazing. from bookings to checking in and out. The process was super straightforward. location was great as its between Avarua and Muri. ants, but from what i gather its all over the island and stray dogs. they are very friendlbut one occasionally barks at us during the night when we are on the patio.
• Anonymous (10/5): Lovely spot, very peaceful and private! - Modern cottage with a nice view. Managed to see some whales breaching which was a real bonus. Will come back again! On main road so at times was a bit noisy, get used to that though. Overall very good property.
