Guest Reviews
- Mariah (10/5): Thank You - Amazing value for money, spacious and very clean. Best of all was the view ☺️
- Daniel (4/5): That's the whack - The owners were friendly & not nosey. There is not suitable beds for 7 people as advertised. We had no access to the pool as it hadn't been cleaned properly yet no discount from the price.
Seperate bathroom to the room you have to walk through their garage to have a shower
- Zdenka (4/5): Disappointing - It was very quiet and the nature around beautiful. We saw black Cockatoos. We have been there with 10 months old, so i wasn't happy to see that place was not clean , dust was everywhere. The worst was the selling fan already black because of dust. Spiders webs everywhere, which would be ok if they are there after 2-3days of being there as it is the countryside , no on the day u came . It also means it was not cleaned prior as I heard it was.
The place doesn't have air-conditioning, only fans
Also, We didn't like that the toilet was outside of the room in the garage, and you are not able to lock it from outside when you leave all your staff there.
The kitchen is not sustainable for cooking as there is no any stone. There is only one big electric pot, which was useless as we needed to cook, especially for the baby. Better if they have Cooktop Burner, which would be more useful.
Because of these reasons, we have left 2 days earlier and looked for another accommodation more family friendly. I'm not coming back for sure
- Tin (5/5): Passable - none location and bathroom
- Paula (5/5): Cheap and very basic accommodation - Th host's communication was great. Beds were no comfortable and one of the beds was an air mattress.
Pretty small kichenette
You need to pass the garage to go to bathroom
The place a bit oudated but I was not happy about the cleaning. The fridge is not clean and there is mould in the freezer. There was dust and spiders in the ceiling of the room. Painting of the walls in broken
- Cathy (8/5): Pleasant - Great for special time with family
- Saad (1/5): In summary, I was very disappointed with my stay and cannot recommend this property. - Disappointing Stay with Unmet Expectations
I recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, it did not meet the expectations set by the listing.
Upon arrival, we found cobwebs and spiders throughout the space, making it feel unclean and uninviting. The sleeping arrangements were misleading; one of the advertised beds was actually a sofa, and the air bed provided was inadequate—my child kept slipping down during the night due to insufficient air.
The property was advertised as having air conditioning, but what we found was just a dusty evaporative air cooler. With hot and sweaty weather, we hardly got any sleep.
One of the biggest disappointments was that the listing claimed to have a kitchen, but it had no stove. As a family of eight, we were forced to buy meals from outside, which nearly doubled our expenses during the stay.
Additionally, the bathroom was accessed through the garage, which felt uncomfortable as we had to walk through a shared space with other guests.
The laundry facilities were located upstairs on the owner’s floor, and when we returned after being out, we needed to do laundry right away. However, the owner scolded my kids, saying there was "no laundry this time," which was very frustrating.
The owner was overly fussy and frequently texted us about minor issues, including complaints about noise when closing the bathroom door—even at 2 AM. I also found it inappropriate that the owner kept asking for additional money for my 2-year-old child, which I have never encountered during my stays in Australia. Overall, I paid $2,500 for this stay, which I feel was not worth it at all.
In summary, I was very disappointed with my stay and cannot recommend this property based on my experience.
- Jb (6/5): Swaggy no pool excuse spoiled it. - Inside nice could have used small spruce to bring it into the 2020s. Fitted 5 of us in nicely. Pool unusable. This should have been sorted prior to our arrival. This can't be news. Didn't feel valued as a guest and relationship dissolved with the no pool text leaving a sour taste and we felt avoided. No doubt a justification of the no pool situation will be posted in a rehearsed fashion. Wouldn't have booked if I knew this would be the case. I'm sure if we rocked up in a Hilux Mr poolman would have shown. Super-quiet rules can take a toll.
- Kara (9/5): Superb -
- Wirth (8/5): Nice polite and helpful - Peaceful quiet Relaxing
- Sonja (4/5): It's a pretty location but uncomfortable - It was a pretty location and convenient to our event. Some milk would have been nice to have a cuppa after such a long journey to arrive. The beds were so uncomfortable, no one slept well, and we were all struggling, grumpy, and tired. We napped during the day, but it was really hot. There was a discrepancy about having the curtains drawn when we were trying to have privacy to sleep, but the host suggested we were trying to hide our dog when he was always listed on the guest list. We were charged extra for cleaning, which was no more or less cleaning, regardless, which I settled quickly. Host could have suggested what she wanted to remedy the miscommunication instead of just ranting. In my profession, we come with a solution, not a problem. I have been in cheap hotels and motels to expensive penthouses, all over the world and there was always milk. There were very limited amenities to cook, and it took ages to find the bathroom because there was no instructions or guidance where it was without having to search through the garage. The electric plugs were also falling off the wall, and I cleaned the mould from the shower when I had a shower. Overall, we were very uncomfortable.
- Ben (3/5): Good location but not suitable if raining. - Location was good. Unfortunately it was raining while we were there and we had to close the windows as the rain was coming in. Unfortunately this meant there was no ventilation at all.
- Gerhard (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (8/5): Overall really enjoyed our stay, had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and lovely peopl - The property is situated in the hills with lovely country feels. The drive to the property is rather steep, which could potentially be a struggle for some cars.
- Dave (8/5): Very good -
- George (9/5): Superb -
- Johnson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martha (5/5): Passable - No air con
Noise from upstairs
- Johnson (10/5): Was good. - As described Nothing.
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing and the hosts are so helpful and accommodating 😄
- Melinda (10/5): Peaceful and central to what we were doing that week - The pool was beautiful

- Shereen (4/5): 3 day stay. - Beautiful view from home. privacy. pool was nice.owner was helpful with directions to home located on the hill.. washing machine, tumble dryer etc mentioned not visible.( unsure if they were in the owners garage). beds were uncomfortable. (bathroom/toilet located in owners garage) outside residence. for a comfortable stay would recommend not more than 4 people..
- Joan (6/5): Pleasant - Katie was lovely and the accommodation was very clean. There was a full sized fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric frypan. Plus plenty of utensils. TV with an extra channel of nickelodeon. The bathroom isn't attached to the accommodation and you need to go out through the garage to get to it. We found this very inconvenient. Other guests and the residents at the house could be there when you were going to the bathroom, any time of the day or night and we felt uncomfortable in our pjs when we ran into other people. Also we had to put shoes on as you were going through a garage and high traffic area. We couldn't lock the bathroom when we weren't using it so we didn't feel comfortable leaving anything in there.
The accommodation was very hot once the sun came up, it is advertised as air conditioned however it is a portable air con that you have to fill with cold water.
We didn't need to use the washing machine or dryer as we only stayed 2 nights, but they were no where to be seen and were included in the description.
I stayed with my 2 adult daughters and it was a sufficient size for us, I cannot imagine having 7 people in the space.

- Helena (7/5): Value for money - Great location and very friendly people. It was spacious and clean. Great communication. The beds are not that comfortable and the bathroom is not connected to the room but outside.
Also when the place above is rented out it is noisy. Not that the owners can help this. Katie messaged me to apologize, which was very considerate.
- Nessie (10/5): Location is beautiful, host is welcoming, place is comfortable and comes equipped with essentials. - Katie is a sweet and bubbly lady, who provided a warming welcome to her lovely accomodation despite running a busy household with adorable little ones! As a result, my partner and I felt very comfortable settling in and set a great tone going ahead for our trip. The location of the accomodation was gorgeous, giving a more rural experience of Gold Coast. The accomodation itself came with a well equipped kitchen, had plenty of room for storing belongings, a cozy bed, great hygiene in the rooms and bathroom, and a bonus of a pool containing an awesome range of toys! Additionally, my partner and I had heaps of privacy during our stay, and look forward to revisiting :) Only struggle is the walk up the road/ driveway, a little bit of a trek although not a big issue.
- Joel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samia (7/5): the second double bed is the sofa bed, just to clear up any confusion there! we had a lovely stay -
- Elise (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property in a great location.
Everything we needed for a great overnight stay on the Gold Coast. The kids enjoyed the pool. N/A
- Uyen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryan (8/5): Very good -
- Brecard (8/5): Very good - Serenity surroundings. Friendly greeting & able to late check out. Bathroom outside through garage.
- Bishal (9/5): Superb - It was good for the price. Everything was good.
- Neville (10/5): If only all B/B can be like you ! - Staff has beyond helpfull .As retirees we travel a lot the value for money was absolutely great and the cherry on the top ,it was spotlessly clean .Wishing the owner all the best with there business .if you contact this way you will definitely always be fully booked 👍🏻🙏🙏 Value for money and spotlessly clean
- Damian (8/5): Very good value for money - The hosts were really friendly and caring, and the space was quite large. The third bed (folding sofa) wasn't the most comfortable to sleep on. The main bed however is very comfy and the other single fold out bed is good as well.
- Lucas (10/5): Quiet, cosy and just on the edge of the city. Loved it. - I liked how cute and quiet the place was. It was very clean and setup with everything we needed. Loved having the pool too.
- Tyler (2/5): Wouldn’t stay again - There was not much I can say I liked about the place out than they had the essentials It was advertised with 3 double bed and there was only 1 bed and a futon that went to a bed, you could access the pool but it had that many toys in it. You are told that quiet time is between 10-7 but you can hear people thumbing and walking around above you until about midnight or later. The TV remote didnt have batteries and the TV didn’t work properly. The internet cuts out after 10pm
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
