The hair dryer was broken, but they showed no interest in fixing the problem. Breakfast was sparse, the same every morning. The hotel’s location is good, but the area is a bit crowded and noisy. I don’t think I would stay at this hotel again.

Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et à l'écoute. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux, servi jusqu'à 11h00. Le service voiturier aéroport/Hôtel est très bien. Notre avion a eu 2 heures de retard, le chauffeur nous a attendu. Nous avons été accueillis par le réceptionniste à la sortie du taxi. Nos bagages ont été transportés jusqu'à notre chambre. Nous recommandons cet hôtel.
• Natalie (8/5): Authentisches Ambiente mit viel Charme – Absolut empfehlenswert! - Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Das Hotel besticht durch sein authentisches Ambiente und eine Top-Lage. Unsere Zimmer zum Innenhof waren angenehm groß, wunderschön und sauber. Weil es zum Innenhof lag, war es nachts herrlich ruhig, sodass wir perfekt schlafen konnten. Ein absolutes Highlight im Hof waren für uns die drei süßen Katzen! Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber erfreulich unaufdringlich. Auch das Frühstück hat uns begeistert: Alles wurde frisch zubereitet und von herzlich lächelnden Frauen serviert. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Zwei kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge für die Zukunft: • Wir fänden es schöner und passender zum Ambiente, wenn im Zimmer echte Gläser/Tassen statt Pappbecher bereitstehen würden. • Als Kaffeeliebhaber hätten wir uns außerdem sehr über einen traditionellen türkischen Kaffee im Hotel gefreut.

La chambre familiale que nous avions est magnifique et confortable. Le fait de disposer de deux espaces distincts pour les parents d’un côté et les enfants de l’autre est vraiment un plus. J’ai aimé la décoration de la chambre, les hauts plafonds et les grandes fenêtres qui apportent une belle luminosité. J’ai trouvé que bien que dans un quartier très animé, la chambre était au calme. À la réception, le personnel est chaleureux, accueillant, professionnel et de très bon conseil. Le petit déjeuner propose une variété de spécialités turques que j’ai beaucoup aimé, avec une variante chaque jour, le personnel est là aussi chaleureux et agréable. Рядом много ресторанов, магазинов, недалеко есть маркет Мигрос, рядом станция метро и трамвая. Хорошие завтраки, приятный ресторан, мужчина на ресепшене во много помогал. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, les lits confortables, la chambre est très propre l'odeur épouvantable dans la salle de bain (problème de canalisation) c'est le seul bémol que nous avons rencontré dans la chambre.

There is elevator that gets you to the floor but still because of the way its built we had to climb up more stairs to get to our room.

Чудові смачні сніданки (шведський стіл). Привітний персонал, який готовий допомогти. Організували зручний трансфер з/до аеропорту. Номер великий, світлий і чистий. Це питання не до помешкання, а до локації: з мечеті, що поруч відбувається трансляція молитви і перша близько 5-ої ранку. Оскільки я не мусульманка - це справді заважало спати.

However overall the experience does not justify the high rating The hotel looks luxurious at first glance, but the actual quality is a bit disappointing. Facilities feel outdated and poorly maintained. Service was quite average and not up to the standard expected. The shampoo/soap containers had visible limescale and looked unhygienic, and the shampoo and hand wash seemed to be the same product. There was also a hole in the ceiling directly above the bed (likely from a relocated smoke detector), which made the room feel poorly maintained.

• Richard (9/5): Ring Stone Hotels Old City, une super adresse à retenir ! - Le Ring Stone Hotels Old City est idéalement situé dans la vieille ville, à distance de marche de plusieurs sites touristiques (Mosquée bleue, Ste Sophie, Citerne basilique, Topkapi, Université, Mosquée de Soliman, Grand bazar, Bazar égyptien, ...). Le bâtiment était autrefois une riche demeure ottomane transformé par la suite en banque, il abrite aujourd'hui l'hôtel Ring Stone Old City. C'est fun de prendre un bon petit déjeuner dans l'ancienne salle des coffres où se trouve encore les impressionnantes portes blindées. Le personnel est accueillant et prévenant, prompt à répondre aux moindre sollicitations. Efficace tout en étant discret. La chambre familiale était spacieuse, confortable, propre et bien équipée. Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux de l'équipe de la réception et de Tatiana, la manager, qui nous a gâté avec plusieurs petites attentions. Un séjour formidable !

• Sergey (6/5): - Номер вполне чистый и комфортный. Удобное расположение относительно достопримечательностей и общественного транспорта. Завтраки без излишеств, но достаточно чтобы быть не голодным. Шум с улицы. Окна не имеют шумоизоляции вообще. Номер на первом этаже, паркуются машины люди разговаривают, всё как будто в номере происходит. Очень близко мечеть, по этому в 5 утра кажется, что муэдзин конкретно в это окно направил динамик.

• Ardiana (10/5): Traumhaft 😍 - Das Hotel ist einfach PERFEKT! Es ist wunderschön, hat grosse Zimmer und ein super leckeres Frühstück. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und respektvoll. Die Lage des Hotels ist Traumhaft. Ganz nahe am grossen Bazaar und an der blauen Moschee sowie an der Hagia Soohia. Wir konnten mit unseren beiden Kindern alles zu Fuss erreichen. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 😍 -

Clădirea este frumoasă,dar însuși camerele sunt în altă clădire din spate.Pe site au plasat cele mai frumoase camere dar de facto camera noastră avea o fereastră de 1m2 .În cameră mirosea tot timpul a mucegai pentru că clădirea este una veche și parțial îngropată în pămînt!Prosoapele în loc s ale schimbe în fiecare zi, le împătureau și le puneau la loc(((. Am fost foarte dezamăgiți.Nu merită banii !!

• Björn (8/5): - Die Lage war super, alle waren dort sehr Kinder freundlich gewesen. Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und wiederkommen. Draußen gab es leider nur eine Treppe, keine Rampe oder ähnliches, mit einem Kinderwagen ist das etwas anstrengender gewesen.

• Felicia (10/5): Sejur de vis - Un hotel drăguț, aproape de obiective turistice și bazar, cu un personal profesionist (receptionerul mai in vârstă extrem de amabil ne-a pus la curent cu toate dotările hotelului, ne-a oferit harta împrejurimile și ne-a dat indicații) și doamna manager Tatiana este o doamnă foarte amabilă și promptă (ne-a schimbat camera după prima noapte cu alta la etaj); într-un cuvânt recomandat cu căldură acest hotel și le mulțumim pentru un sejur de vis!

• María del Carmen (9/5): Muy agradable y cómoda - El alojamiento se encontraba en una ubicación cerca a las mezquitas y con buena conexión. El personal fue muy amable, ya que tuvimos que cambiar de hotel por problemas. Nos ayudaron en todo momento y se ofrecieron a ayudarnos tanto para visitar la ciudad como para los transportes al aeropuerto. Como aspecto de mejora, el desayuno era poco variado. Además, me gustaría comentar que los baños tenían olor a humedad (alcantarilla) que si recomendaría revisar.
• Stoyan (10/5): - Perfect location, right next to the Blue mosque, Basilica Cistern and Hagia Sofia. Lots of places around to grab a bite or a drink, supermarkets, gift shops, public transport. The hotel has its own parking lot. We had a room upgrade upon our arrival and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, helpful and supportive (especially the general manager Tatyana). The breakfast was absolutely perfect - it had everything that you could think of. We are definitely going back!

• Vanessa (10/5): Une expérience formidable au coeur de la vieille ville dans un décor ottoman authentique. - Petit déjeuner excellent! Le personnel est aux petits soins, même s'il ne ne communique pas en anglais, les clients sont choyés. Omelettes, poivrons, sont cuisinés en temps réel et tout est vraiment bon. La responsable est très à l'écoute de ses hôtes : elle parle parfaitement français, est polyglotte (grec, turc, anglais, italien...) et très sympathique. La vue des chambres sur le Bosphore est fantastique, la situation exceptionnelle. Manque de place pour la salle du petit déjeuner, surtout pour les familles ou groupes. La responsable a assuré que l'hôtel est en pleine restructuration, cela devrait s'améliorer rapidement. La situation centrale de l'hôtel, dans une rue calme, constitue vraiment un plus : la contrepartie est le réveil très matinal par les appels à la prière très proches.

The airport transfer service was very smooth, and the driver was very friendly. The location of the hotel is a big plus, within easy walking distance of Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The breakfast was also very good!

• Veronika (8/5): Nice hotel in amazing location - This is a historic building, the hotel is quite new (opened in 2024, before it was a bank, and earlier a palace). The location is extremely convenient to all main destinations in Sultanahmet (Gran Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Agia Sophia) and a tram stop connecting it to Galata Tower, Taksim area and Pier for ferry trip. We took an ordinary room, which was on ground floor in the back of the hotel, it was clean, the bed was comfortable. Water bottles are provided daily. Breakfast room is small, The breakfast choice was adequate with some local food options (both salty and sweet). Really liked the turkish version of shakshuka (eggs with tomatoes), cooked by very nice lady cook. The staff was helpful with organising transfer from airport and choosing the options for tours, we enjoyed a Bosphorus 3-hour tour with lunch, good value for money. We had a small problem with toilet flush, but it solved in 15 min. I would recomend to change the tables in the breakfast room as they were too low compared to the chairs and seating was a bit uncomfortable.

• Polina (6/5): Great location, but everything else fell short of expectations - The location was great and very convenient for exploring the Old City. Unfortunately, almost everything else was disappointing. The service was poor, the room was not properly cleaned, and basic supplies were not consistently replenished. The breakfast was below expectations in both quality and variety. The mattress was also very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

• Malina (6/5): Great location, but housekeeping was very poor—over five days only the bins were emptied, with no fresh towels, cleaning - Location of the hotel it’s great everything is close Hagia Sophia , Basilica cistern ,Topkapi palace , Blue mosque and Galata Bridge We were 5 nights at the hotel and the room was not cleaned except changing the bins and fixing the bed .Towels were folded but not changed unless I asked for fresh towels and there was no soap

Завтрак шведский стол обычный, без изысков, но всего достаточно. Отель рекомендую. - нет вешалки во входной зоне, попали в сезон дождей: мокрые куртки повесить негде; - в с/у нет полотенцесушителя; -душевая кабина для лиц XL+ весьма тесная - для девушек: косметику в с/у разместить негде -много лестниц, лифт только в основном здании, а номера в 2 корпусах; - администратор заблокировал наш ключ в день отъезда и не сообщил нам об этом, в результате вернулись с прогулки за вещами (мимо указанного админа), а попасть в номер не смогли, пришлось (по лестницам!) возвращаться на рецепшн
• Laura (4/5): Destacable ubicación !!! el resto muy mejorable sobre todo la limpieza. No mirar debajo de la cama ! - la ubicacion es excelente muy sucio, las camas mal hechas ni estiran las sábanas. Al llegar al hotel subes varias escaleras para entrar (con alfombra despegada en tramos), una vez dentro bajas escaleras y atraviesas zonas desayuno, sales al exterior vuelves a subir escaleras mojandote para pasar al otro edificio y luego un pasillo enorme hasta que llegas a Habitación, no muy accesible y mas despues de todo el dia andando. A eso unir que la puerta automatica de acceso estaba estropeada. Tuvimos que pedir papel higiénico porque no lo repusieron a pesar de estar vacio el rollo............
• daniel (7/5): Det var okej men det finns bättra . - Det var ganska ett stort rum Det saknades hiss på ingången och det är 20 trappor upp. Dagens städning var dock under all kritik. De bytte inte ens handskar, och jag fick ingen påfyllning på te eller engångsmuggar.
• Ilia (6/5): - The personnel was very polite. The location of the hotel is very nice, all the famous historical places are easily accessible. I really liked the design of the halls and the rooms in the building. The view was awful, it was some construction with hills of garbage. It was very humide in the room. The water in the sink didn't go down. I asked to fix the issue two times, but there was zero action. The amount of hangers wasn't enough, as the majority was stolen. Who even need them if you can't use them? Finally, when we arrived we needed to take our luguage upstairs by ourselves, nobody came to help us. All of these dissadvantages would be okay for a smaller price of the hotel. For this price you can find better alternatives in Istanbul.

• Nancy (10/5): Veel ruimte, perfectie locatie en schoon! Fijn bed dus prima voor een weekje Istanbul! - De ruimte van de kamer, hygiëne en locatie. Ontbijtzaal voelde niet prettig. Erg krap en donker. Buffet was niet naar wens voor ons. Dit hebben we ook maar eenmalig gedaan. Het was gehorig vooral in de ochtend.

• Andrey (4/5): Неприятно - Завтрак и месторасположение Ужастные номера, в первом номере было большое окно, все переклеено скотчем выходило на улицу на первом этаже, ощущение будто ты на дороге, мимо ездят машины, ходят люди, ночью была стройка и мы не спали всю ночь. Попросили переселения в другой номер, там был будто цокольный этаж , рядом с нами был вход персонала, и они постоянно ходили мимо окна , громко закрывая дверь и шага, матрас кровати , был с ямой в середине и ты проваливаешьсясантиметров на 15 , весь сон у тебя часть тела в яме, в душевых пахло сыростью ужасно, в обоих номерах были мрачно грязные окна.
