- Diana (1/5): FLEAS - It is close to tube and bus station for london FLEAS in the bedrooms, Old dirty bedding. dirty kitchen utensils & oven. Dirty toilet & bathroom. Dirty washer with old soap in the tray. Broken window panes, window frames bent and dont close. Carpets dirty and smelt. Furniture stained. Facilities not available, like the toaster.
Owners dont reply when you try to report it.
DONT BOOK THIS PLACE.
- Sam (1/5): - ❌ Do not stay here!
I booked this accommodation and was horrified to wake up covered in bed bug bites. The place was clearly infested, which ruined my stay completely. After contacting the host/management, I received no help or resolution. I had to leave straight away and find alternative accommodation.
The property is not being maintained to even basic hygiene standards, and it’s shocking that it is still being listed. The reviews before mine also mention the same issue, so clearly nothing is being done.
This was an extremely stressful and upsetting experience, and I would never recommend anyone stay here. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.
- Annmaree (1/5): DO NOT EVEN CONDIDER STAYING HERE - STAY WELL CLEAR - multiple reviews of bedbugs leading up to our stay, host claimed there wasn't any issue but couldn't provide evidence of any professional services to fumigate the property. Wasn't willing to take the chance with a young family staying there and the host agreed in writing that he would fully refund us if we could prove we booked other accommodation. We booked other accommodation and enjoyed our trip to London. On return the host hasn't answered any emails or calls to fully refund us and booking.com have been zero use in supporting us and still allowing the property to be rented even though it has bedbugs. Since returning there has been further reviews of bed bugs in the property but the host and booking.com do nothing about it. Unless you enjoy being feasted on by bedbugs with the opportunity to take them home with you, then I'd stay well clear of this property and the cowboy host...
Merci bien
- Gil (1/5): STAY AWAY - It's very close to the tube and tesco The toilet was clogged
The apartment is infested with ticks, we all have hundreds of bites and the owner of the apartment did not respond to my messages about it, this matter ruined our trip and we returned to our country for medical treatment.

- Alex (1/5): I truly regret staying at this place. Bed infested with fleas. - The apartment is in an impressive 1930s building. There was no noise from neighbours upstairs or downstairs. The TV worked (although the commander didn't work well). There was a kettle. Where to start. Well I will start with the fact that I found a flea in the bed (the bedroom next to the kitchen). But evidently it was not just one flea as I was bitten well over 500 times with bites covering my entire body. I am writing one week later and I am still having difficulty sleeping because of the excruciating itching - despite taking heavy grade anti-histamine and various lotions. I have a doctors appointment scheduled for this afternoon and am hoping for something stronger.
However this was not the only bad aspect of the stay, although by far the worst. As soon as we entered the apartment we registered that a window pane in the main living room was broken. What kind of place doesn't fix a broken window pane in the living room? The kind I suppose that will also keep cleanliness standards at a level where fleas are in a bed. We stayed in July and it was warm and so this was not a big problem. The window in the bedroom with the fleas did not close and so there was a lot of noise from the very busy main road (actually not a problem for me). But there were no blinds and the curtains were relatively ineffective and this meant that I woke at 5am both mornings because of the light. Again not a big problem but I would have liked to sleep until at least 6am.
What else? The flat is VERY sparsely furnished by any standards. While there is a working oven and fridge in the kitchen (and a MIELE (!) washing machine) - beyond a few plates, glasses and mugs -there is basically no equipment - certainly not enough if you wanted to cook anything.
Finally the communication with the agency was poor. It is now a week since I left and despite requesting an invoice/receipt before and during my stay via the booking.com message system (which i have the impression they do not read) and despite telephoning the agency and speaking to an agent twice since I left - I have still not received one. Tellingly they are not picking up my calls today.
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Dean (4/5): Location good communication was not - Location Had bed bugs and the property never replied when contacted
- Cookimnstr29 (7/5): Good - Very good location close to the Swiss Cottage station of the Jubilee line. Beautiful old building.
Apartment has everything you need.
The host was very patient with me as I did need some help, but they were quick to respond and help us. Don't know if this is something that is planned or not but the windows are in need of replacing as they are showing their age.
- Donald (9/5): Excellent location and great value in Swiss Cottage - We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment in Swiss Cottage and found it perfectly located—just steps from the Jubilee Line at Swiss Cottage station, making access to Central London effortless. The apartment is well-equipped with all essential amenities, though the addition of a toaster would be welcome. The surrounding area is very convenient, with an M&S, Tesco Express, and an off-licence all within a short walk.
Regency Lodge is a Grade II listed modernist Art Deco complex from the 1930s—full of character and architectural charm, particularly for those who appreciate period design.
Moyata was highly responsive and accommodating—allowing early luggage drop-off and always replying promptly. Overall, a highly recommended stay for location, convenience, and service. While the apartment offers excellent value for money, there are a few signs of age, including what appears to be old, dried mould on the bathroom door and in some of the grouting.
- Veronika (6/5): The apartment was overall okay but the windows should be repaired. - Location was good. The windows were in a very bad state. Very loud and cold and could not close them properly.
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Well located, warm, very basic, no added extras.
- Claire (6/5): A good bed for the night. - It was ok as a base. Just could do with some basics, such as hand soap, toilet roll. Did have access to Amazon etc on tv so that was good. Near to a tescos and m & s. Had to chase for the key lock codes
- Carmen (6/5): londres en familia - Good morning, we really liked your house, but I think you should fix the windows in the room near the kitchen. It's freezing cold.
- Elinor (7/5): Good -
- Paul (1/5): Awful experience one of the beds has bed bugs. Made worse by the owner refusing to deal with it. - Irrelevant . Bed bugs in one of the bed ruined the stay. Owner said "we definitelyt dont having any bedbugs in our accommodation unless you were the one bringing them there" . Have a look at the photos and make your own judgement. They then went on to say "you can be glad we're not gonna sue you for false accusation." .. Again have a look at the photos, Bed bugs ! . I complained to the owner and they refused to accept it stated that i was harrassing them by asking to be able to send the video of the bugs. BUGS discovered in the night Onwer said in should have reported at check in but they were only found when my daiughter went to bed at 1am, You dont expect to find bugs, i have sent the owner the video she took, which clearly shows multiple bugs moving around of the bedding. Astonishing idea of customer service ! no apology just a tirade of accusations about me ..
- Autrieb (9/5): Superb - Comfy beds, location , price, kitchen equipment. Generaly cosy flat No soap.
- Alisha (7/5): Spacious apartment, plenty of room for 6 people and good value for money. - Good location (close to tube station) and good value for money. Very spacious, bigger than expected. Only there for one night so did not use all of the facilities. I would come back again to this apartment and recommend to friends. The whole apartment was too hot in temperature. All the radiators were on and we could not figure out how to turn them off. Would be good to have a manual or instructions to adjust this.
- Alina (5/5): Passable - The apartment is spacious, very warm, and in a good location. Cleanliness is completely absent; the bathrooms and kitchen are very dirty, the floor creaks loudly, and one of the exterior windows is broken. This apartment would have much greater potential if more effort were put into cleanliness.
- Ary-jan (6/5): 2 night stay / city trip - The location, close to metro station, is good
The building is okay
The room sizes are okay Similar as other reviews: this property needs some decent maintenance and some proper cleaning.
- Dominic (5/5): Fine for a night - For one night it was fine for us. In the right location. Convenient. It was quite bare and soul less. Not well equipped. It really needs a decent refurb.
- Ana (4/5): Disappointing - it's a good location. broken windows, not possible to proprely close them.
We were 5 (and we informed about it) but no bed linnens were provided for the 5th person, nor towels.
Very few kitchen materials for cooking and eating the 5 of us.
- Alexandru (6/5): Pleasant - Great location. Great interaction with the host. Anear rhe metro station and some restaurants.
Worth for one night. Bad windows, some of them broken, air and noise coming to the room.
Rooms and bathroom could have been cleaner.
- Paula (8/5): Recommended- we will come again - I came with my daughter for a city trip. It is a charming little apartment in which we found everything we needed.
The location is really excellent and the connection to public transport is wonderful. There is a very good coffee shop and a supermarket within walking distance.
The only thing that could be improved is…
Please get someone to do a thorough cleaning :)
- Bonilla (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect very close to swiss cottage tube station and bus stops. The flat is conviniently equiped, clean and maintained in fair condition. It is spatious and confortable, heating works perfectly and beds are confortable. The only negative point would be the noise coming from the road. The appartment complex is very nice but since it is located next to a big road there are a lot of car and siren noises.
- Ashley (10/5): Nice place. Good location. - Nice place in a nice location with transport links to everywhere you need to be.
- Anthony (10/5): Great stay - Everything Nothing
- Zdeněk (9/5): Superb - we would like to thank you for your accomodation, it was really amazing. The location of your apatment was absolutely perfect and everything went well. We can definitely recommend it on Booking web site.
- Rodriguez (5/5): Passable - Great location. Cleanliness: hair on sheets, nails in bathroom drawers, dirty microwave...
- Dale (8/5): We enjoyed the stay, location was good and great for the price - The host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and location ideal, 2 minutes from the tube. The windows could do with updating a bit, you can't really open or close them which makes it uncomfortable when it is hot and I assume the same in the winter months.
- Shabir (3/5): Not so clean and not so clear communicative owner. - İt was near to tube and bus station. The place was not so clean. There were hair in the drain of bathtub. A broken window in the living room. We did not get the In-checking info before our reaching even though we arrived after 15:00 which was incheckning time. We had to call the owner and he was still not easy to give us the instructions for incheckning. Opening lock or entrance door.
- Jaimin (5/5): great location but place could be better if it had comfortable beds and essential toiletries - good location easily accessible and close to center Beds were uncomfortable, we assumed toiletries would have been there but it wasn't, so had to buy our own
- Zoe (5/5): Hmm wasn't to happy tbh - Location, walking distance to the Camden Market The apartment was dated and needs to be renovated. Very cold and was loud at night! It was also freezing as the heating did not work.
- Maria (6/5): Pleasant - Great location
Spacious apartment
Beds comfortable Missing kitchen essentials, no can opener, bowls, casserole dishes, oven trays, colander and frying pan. No microwave or first aid box as stated in the itinerary.
Windows need replacing / repairing.
However, despite these issues I would stay here again.
- Gamma (9/5): Superb -
- Ing (6/5): Overall acceptable - Location Too old
- Wafaa (10/5): Exceptional -
