Guest Reviews
- Shannan (8/5): Great location walking distance to everything and shops close by - Close proximity to the city walking distance to everything Stairs 3 flights but it was good exercise
- Tina (5/5): - Location was good. Central to Albert Park and CBD. Very dated. Not very clean. Only 1 light bulb working in each room. Sofas were dirty.
- Duncan (8/5): -
- Andrew (6/5): - Location No air con in bedrooms - stained couch šļø
- michael (5/5): enjoyed my stay but would not stay there again unless it had a revamp - Location was the best thing, bedroom and linen nice and clean No plugs for bath, bathroom sink or laundry sink inconvenient to do some hand washing, bad smell coming out from laundry space sometimes, no air cond in bedrooms, need a small quiet fan for bedrooms, frying saucepan is disgusting to cook with, a little more dishwashing soap would of been nice, blackout curtains/blinds in living room for sofa bed, maybe couch covers would make it more attractive, why have an Aldi coffee pod m/c when you can't buy pods from Woolworths which is across the road. No board games for kids to play.
- Colin (8/5): we had a great time - The location was handy, close to shops, the art gallery and the city
- Decrea (10/5): -
- Kodie (8/5): Great location, spacious apartment, free off street parking. Check instructions and all other instructions were well det - Great location across the road from a supermarket and about a 20min walk from the free tram service.
- TC (8/5): Bright and light spacious apartment - The apartment was well furnished, bright and light, and very spacious. Close to supermarket and city. Unfortunately because the pipes dry out in the laundry they were a bit smelly š
- Ash (7/5): -
- Alicia (3/5): Not great but good location. - Good location. 2 bedrooms. Pool was great and parking on site. Across the road from woolworths. Good linen on beds. Lots of stairs. Most items were broken. Chairs, coffee table, blinds, washing machine, stain on couch. Power points coming out of wall, No milk, fash washers, communal cheap body wash and shampoo. Bed sagged and springy. Overall, really not clean in cupboards and crockery dirty.
- Karina (7/5): Would stay again, great location - Great location, comfortable and clean. Hosts provided very detail check-in information which you need if you are using the parking there. Having an option of a second key would improve access if there are multiple people staying.
- Rodney (9/5): Reccomended. Very family froendly - Apartment was comfortable, good location, woolies across the road, pool Accessimg the apartment from the level 2 carpark is a little inconvenient
- Mustafa (4/5): Could have been better. - The furniture could have been put together properly and the sofa bed could have had sheets.
- Patricia (7/5): -
- John (8/5): Good location and clean, comfortable apartment. Comprehensive instructions for guests although we were confused where to - Location and facilities Please provide more glasses for non alcoholic drinks- there was one tumbler
- Katrina (8/5): Fantastic location! Can walk to everywhere & very handy having Woolworths across the road - Great location & size of apartment was really good. Very good value for money for over a long weekend. One of the beds was not very comfortable & looked like it may need fixing . No hairdryer either. Some blinds were not working either.
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brad (7/5): Good -
- Jane (4/5): Owner needs to invest in refurb to show customers they are valued. - Beds comfortable. Minimal street noise. A/C good. Lounge room: furnishings warn out and very stained. Blinds faulty ...needed 2 people to operate . Floor needs thorough cleaning....built up grime. This all made the room feel unwelcoming and very uninviting.
Whole unit needs repainting.
Washing machine hard to figure out....is it faulty, ? At least leave instructions (we googled) but still struggled with it.
Kitchen OK but needs more crockery. Dishwasher very smelly. Unit has potential, just needs some TLC.
- Justin (5/5): Short stay great, otherwise bring your own stuff - The location was great, with parking on site and shops just over the road. Quick walk into the centre of town and transport links. Here we go. Communication prior to arriving wasnāt great and the process of getting in to the apartment was fairly complicated, but we got there. First problem was the clearance on the parking, we had to take the pod off the roof of our car and take it up to the apartment just to fit. Then we were provided with 1 dishwasher tablet and 4 coffee pods for 5 nights stay, there were 4 towels but they were so small we had to put them into the drier after every use and even though the host knew we were 2 adults and 2 children the sofa bed had no sheets or doona cover (so we had to buy a set). The washing machine was fairly straight forward to use, except that when you turned the bathroom light off it cut the power (usually mid cycle) and we had to buy more powder and dishwashing liquid. The floors were so dirty we had to wear socks or shoes the whole time, the pillows were like fairy floss and the furniture flimsy. Our stay could have been so good, if the host were not so stingy with what was provided inside.
- Debbie (8/5): Perfect for our needs. - Great location for Southbank. Well equipped for self catering. A huge supermarket over the road which is not mentioned at all in the property description. Great pool which seemed rarely used by others. Nothing major. Access is difficult if you have a disability (not wheel chair friendly). An odd mixture of mis-matched glasses etc pulled the rating down slightly.
- Jessie (8/5): Very good -
- Carri (9/5): Great for a family to stay and walk around the city - Ease of getting to it
supermarket directly across the road
Parking included
- Place (8/5): Very good -
- Naomi (8/5): My 2 sons and I absolutely loved staying here - That it was close to a lot of things that we wanted to do
- Peter (10/5): Wonderful place. Close to everything. Enjoyed my stay so much here - Spacious apartment. Plenty of room. And full kitchen appliances/utensils.
- Heather (8/5): Very good - The host was very responsive. We had a small issue on arrival that was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The apartment is quite sizeable so we had plenty of room to spread ourselves (family of 4 adults). It is well located for some of the key tourist sites, including the pick up point at the Immigration Museum for coach trips. Access with heavy cases on arrival is a little awkward. We had to enter via the car park even though we didn't have a car.
- Alexander (10/5): Super helpful host - Great location.
- Tammy (3/5): Great apartment. Poor management. - Beautiful apartment, brilliant location. Well equipped. Wonderful concierge The manager didn't advise us until 30 minutes before check in that the unit was trashed, we sat in the lobby and carpark for 45 minutes. With checkout 5 hours before I fail to see why he didn't fix it in 5 hours, or let me know other than saying I called the number but it wasn't in service. Everyone knows when you are on a plane you are in airplane mode. Leave a message. We slept on a bed on the floor, we were given 3 towels for 4 people. When we told manager of shower leaking onto the ceiling and flooding the bathroom it was only fixed on our last day. We spent our days washing towels and coping with a ceiling and floor flooding. We had to insist on more towels. That took 24 hours . When he said they were coming they didn't Our texts were ignored over the Sunday. Our remote didn't work 50% of the time. We needed concierge to let us in. Btw I have never given a bad review in my life as as business manager. But our treatment was appalling.
- Sian (10/5): Overall nice spacious accommodation served us for what we needed āŗļø - Spacious accommodation, well equipped and clean Bathroom was a little tired door didnāt shut properly, checking in instructions were a little confusing after 24 hours of travelling but host was super quick to reply to messages and help us out.
- Alina (2/5): Okay but not what we paid for. - The view. Room wasn't what was advertised and definitely was not clean. Pillows were old and buggered and didn't even have pillow cases on them. There was no access to a private pool or tennis courts as advertised. The room was dusty and not very clean at all. Overall comfy beds but not what we paid for.
- Peter (10/5): Thank you for the lovely experience. I hope to come stay with you again soon. - Location. Huge space. Cleanliness. Local to everything. Parking spot.
- Mickitja (8/5): Convenient, great location, plenty of room for a family and good amenities - Great location, plenty of room Not having an elevator or something to assist taking items like luggage, groceries etc upstairs
- Wilson (10/5): Exceptional - The location was really good, walking distance to all things we needed for the trip. Heating in the bedrooms could be improved.
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Alisha (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely, spacious apartments close to all the amenities. Great little balcony and full kitchen amenities were very appreciated also as well as the laundry facilities which are a god send for families! The hosts were so lovely and accomodating and answered any queries quickly Thereās no lift that takes you directly to your floor so stairs are the best option. It didnāt bother us but others may find it inconvenient
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Olivia (8/5): Very good -
- Sue (9/5): Very good. Would stay again. - Spacious One bathroom and complicated to get to from carpark
- Anonymous (4/5): Spacious apartment, great location only off bathroom - Location fantastic Bad smell laundry/bathroom, not enough cutlery china glasses etc if you have six people, only 5 chairs
- Steve (7/5): Nice location and very comfortable - I had to call to get an alternate code on arrival. Bathroom faucet was quite loose and annoying
- Lauren (9/5): Enjoyed my stay - was spacious, clean and comfortable in a good location Will visit again for sure. - The space and facilities
Location was good with food shops close by
Shower was amazing with consistent temperature
Street noise was an a minimal and mattress was super comfortable Wifi was hit and miss whilst trying to connect shows to the TV - remained on the "think" circle. Access keys was a challenge and whilst the instructions make sense now - as a new visitor - was confusing.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Chansokleaksmy (6/5): Pleasant - Nice property but not close to anything except Woolworth.
- Ange (10/5): Had a great stay⦠everything we needed in the apartment - Spacious, great location Nothing
- Sally (7/5): It was fine, apartment a bit sparse but was adequate. Not quite luxurious as advertised - n/a Very hard to get in from the carpark and the keys weren't there when we arrived (after the agreed time) and it made us late for an appointment as we had to drop our bags and the car
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Host was very accommodating
Accommodation was very nice and in a great local spot in the city
Everyone loved it
Thanks amy There wasn't anything to not like
- Scott (8/5): Very good - Handy location with a supermarket across the road. Large living area.
- Lauren (9/5): Superb -
- Brendon (8/5): Very good -
- One (10/5): Exceptional - Room price, full equipment of house, big rooms, location, free parking (Itās a little bit complicate to go from the car parking to the room , but it will be all ok after you know well how to go)
- Kellie (9/5): Clean & spacious apartment - Very clean and spacious apartment in a great location. The towels needed a wash as they left fluff everywhere. I think perhaps they were new?
- Angela (9/5): Good spot for a short holiday - Apartment is light and comfortable, well set up. Location is excellent.
Amy and Matt were very helpful redressing small problems - which were not of their making. Access is a bit tricky. Hosts instructions to get in via lifts in the next building are very important, all fine when you get used to it.
- Keith (8/5): We loved the place and will certainly return if we need to revisit Melbourne CBD. - This is a very spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet apartment that is located a 10 min short walk from the Southbank promenade. There is a Woolworths store a short stroll from the apartment. Parking free was convenient. For those who dont mind a walk we found we could easily access the city, Fed Square, Skydeck and the Art Gallery. A little further afield, if the weather is good, a longer walk to the Melbourne Museum and the Botanic Gardens. For those who have mobility issues, access to street level is via several flights of stairs, and the shower is over the bath - these were not issues/problems for us.
