Guest Reviews
- Halina (6/5): Great location! Joel is awasome trying to be a good host! - Could be better.
- Dotan (4/5): - - Location, locatio, location This is not a hotel – it’s an apartment building with a dirty, poorly maintained entrance. The apartment itself was in bad condition, especially considering the price we paid. It was not properly cleaned and felt unsafe. To make matters worse, at 2:00 a.m. a drunk individual was knocking on our fragile glass door, which left us feeling very insecure.
- pranjal (9/5): - The staff was friendly, they let us store our luggage there after check out and also accomodated our request for early check in. The location was superb! The kettle in the room was dirty and would have appreciated facilities like microwave and clothing iron
- Leandre (10/5): Wonderful - The property was in a central area. We loved the cozy vibe. It was clean, and the staff were helpful. The breakfast is very limited but filling. Nothing

(K dispozícii boli len sladké raňajky -croasan, bábovka, džemy a nutela)
- Mary (10/5): - This was such a cute place, way more than enough space for me and my three friends for a few days. The host is extremely accommodating.
- Weber (8/5): -
- Vincence (8/5): -
- Elisa (6/5): - La colazione era in uno stabile separato Gli standard di sicurezza dell’edificio, praticamente assenti.
- Farrukh (4/5): Definitely I will not select again and will not recommend someone else. - The only good thing was toilet. The apartment was in a very old and smelly building, one air conditioner was not working properly, and the door handles were very loose.
Breakfast was below basics and the man serving the breakfast was having the impression that he was not happy to see us.
Location wise also not a good choice. The only good thing was toilet.
Definitely I will not select again and will not recommend someone else.
- Daniela (8/5): -
- Hana (8/5): Great location - Location was excellent. The building itself is old (has its charm), just would probably need lil bit of detail cleaning. Rooms were very clean. The included breakfast was a great bonus. I would come back. A/C did not seem very strong
- Anonymous (1/5): SCAM - all the good reviews are fake! - looked nothing like the photos—dirty, disgusting smell, the entrance looked like something out of a horror movie, full of cobwebs, filth everywhere, and the floor was pitch black. The elevator wasn’t working, the stairs were tiny and dangerous, and everything was in terrible condition.
This place is run by scammers and thieves. What they did was beyond outrageous. A COMPLETE SCAM. No one should ever stay at this hotel.
- Rozza (10/5): The gorgeous views of Rome, the views, the views 😍 - We were lucky because our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so we were upgraded to a nice apartment with a beautiful view of Rome, so beautiful you would want to cry. We were able to see a drone show from there as well. Every room had a beautiful view.
The apartment had plenty of space, 2 bedrooms each with its own TV and air conditioner. There was a sofa bed as well.
The area nearby was so alive. Especially at night. Coffee shops and bars and shows and singers in the streets. The breakfast was simple, mostly croissant and coffee, but tasty. To have breakfast you have to go to another building nearby. The fridge was small, a mini fridge, but that's just to be picky. We loved the place.
- Madhan (10/5): Good accessible to every thing - Very accessible to all Nill
- Shawna (6/5): Pleasant - location and view are wonderful and the best part of this room. it’s also good value in terms of the size and space. both rooms have super cool city view and on one side vatican view. historic funky building in a perfect area to walk around and actually my favorite area of rome we stayed in. the bathroom shower was very dirty and the check in process should be outlined much more clearly and simply because you have to walk from one meeting point to another apartment building. it felt like we were unsure of it’s legitimacy but honestly if they clean up the balcony and put some more care into the rooms this place could be a truly wonderful stay.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Great location, comfortable room. Nice set up.
- John (8/5): Very good - No hot water the first day but staff was responsive and fixed it quickly.
- Jeffrey (6/5): Potentially fine but several shortcomings - It was in a nice area of Rome , particularly for eating out and for the atmosphere The property was fine, once we got installed, but the initial registration was misleading, possibly due to translation? This is a b and b business with a main house and one up the street. It wasn’t clearly written that you had to arrive at the main house to register before going to your booked place up the street or that the reception time was specific or there’d be no one there! In reality, we were late for the estimated arrival time, due to a huge thunderstorm at the time when we should have been travelling across the city. Taxis were all full so when we eventually arrived, both the main house and our boomed address did not respond. Eventually a WhatsApp conversation took place and we were guided to collect keys etc and got access to our paid for accommodation. Coffee making was provided but only one cup - shower was excellent but only one sachet of shower gel - breakfast at main house was ok if you liked sweet food - sugary croissants plus apricot cake were the only option.
- Patel (2/5): Poor… Would not recommend - The location
Spacious It was very dusty , the cleaner didn’t come for the 4 days we were there, there was a leak in the shower, the toilet paper was cheap and paper like.
- Francesco (7/5): Good location -
- Matthew (9/5): Superb - Nice place. Great location. Enjoyed the patio. Just a lot of stairs, other than that it was great.
- Tomas (8/5): Very good -
- Greenaway (8/5): Very good -
- Karla (10/5): 100% recommendable - Location Nothing
- Adriana (7/5): Good - Location is good They didn’t have iron plank
- Alexandria (1/5): Steer clear of this place…. - The location is great, but for the same price to be by the Spanish steps where there’s not graffiti covering every wall— I’d stay over there instead. Our experience at this so-called “hotel” in Rome was nothing short of a disaster. While I’m typically quite relaxed when it comes to places that blur the line between a hotel and an Airbnb, the property manager’s unprofessionalism was astonishing from check-in until the moment we left.
The issues started immediately when we discovered that our front door lock was completely broken, leaving the room—and the entire building—without any real security. You could literally push the building’s front door open without a key. I sent photos of this serious issue to the property manager, only to be met with incredibly rude and dismissive replies. I’m unsure if it was a language barrier or sheer arrogance, but it was downright unacceptable. Fortunately, someone did come the next morning to fix the door, which offered some relief. However, be aware—there is no safe in the room.
Throughout our stay, the property manager continued to provide appalling service. He refused to tell me his name, which added to the strangeness of the entire experience. Even more laughable, the business cards he leaves at a nearby restaurant (where you have to check in) have the incorrect WhatsApp number—one digit off! Haha. Careless.
Housekeeping was another complete failure. Though it was supposed to be included, after two days, I had to request fresh towels. Someone dropped them inside our door but didn’t bother to remove the used ones or restock essential items like toilet paper, which we were nearly out of. When I asked again if housekeeping was included, I was reassured it was. Yet the following day, all we received were more towels and toilet paper—no beds were made, no floors cleaned. By that point, the place started feeling disgusting. Between the humidity, the rain, and all the walking you do in Rome, it’s entirely reasonable to expect basic housekeeping, which we did not receive.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this place.
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Tanya (8/5): Very good -
- Elena (7/5): Clean room to sleep in an old building that if its upgraded it would give it an extra value - The guest house is located in a central location in Rome, in the heart of Trastevere, one of the most lively neighbourhoods of the city. The flat iinside was very clean and had all the facilities needed. Airconditioning was working very fine in an extremely hot summer. Personnel very friendly. Instructions very clear how to get into the flat and where to go for your breakfast. The breakfast was nice, but a bit poor. It can be improved if some more things can be added to it i e cheese for the toasted bread, ham, milk and cereals for the children that if added would make more sense for the price we paid for. The customers need to be more aware that they are going to be hosted in a historic building that is very interesting but at the same time has its restrictions i.e very small lift, stairs.
- Jean (4/5): Disappointing -
- Antonio (10/5): I would jump at the chance to come and stay there again - The host was so kind and we received a discount at the Polpetta restaurant. The location was so perfect, plenty of shops and coffee shops and fun atmosphere I liked everything
- Dana (9/5): Superb -
- Diana (7/5): Good - Close to the city. The atmosphere in the cartier. Wasn’t so clean as we thought .
The door at the bathroom was broken.
The breakfast was a little bit to simple. But the personal so friendly.
- Jennifer (9/5): Central to the action in Trastevere but relatively quiet. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. - Clean, large rooms, great location, good value, provided soap and shampoo, breakfast included.
- Gloria (7/5): Good - Our room was recently renovated and it was clean. It’s not quite a hotel so it’s divided in 2 different buildings and the building where the room was placed needs a remodel and the breakfast was terrible! Only coffee and bread.
- Gianluca (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect stay in the centre of trastevere!
- Yasmin (2/5): Not worth the money - The location in Trastevere is conviniente and nearby many restaurants at night, so you can just walk and you will find something nice. The description wasn’t accurate. If you are planning to go with family/ friends, be aware that the bunkbed is for teenagers/ kids (if you’re more than 55kg, I’d be concerned), in the first days I didn’t even had the ladder to go up. The description says: double bed, bunk bed AND sofa bed, but actually the bunkbed is the sofa bed. It also says the room has 30m2, to my feeling it has maximum of 20m2 including toilet. Toilet was the only good thing about the room.
It was a bit uncomfortable the 4 of us there. If you are just 2, then it shouldn’t be a problem.
The entrance is terrible, smells like pee and cigarette. Luckily there’s a lift, so not a big problem with the luggage.
If the room was cheap, I wouldn’t write these complaints, but it’s quite expensive for what you are paying.
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Merete (9/5): Great stay and perfect location - The breakfast was nice, but poor. it would have been nice to have more options like fresh bread, cheese and so on. The same poor options every day made the breakfast a bit boring. The coffee was good and the girl at the breakfast very kind and smiling Problems with the electricity every day at 7pm, but staff always willing to help and re-establish shortly after the power cut
