First 3 days I had cockroaches. Lots of little damages everywhere doesn't help to the unclean feeling. Found some long hairs. Bathroom has a smell that spreads to the apartment, you can only keep it away by keeping the window open. There's some kitchen stuff to cook but for some reason no plates

- Chiara (10/5): - Convenient position, very clean well equipped! Staff exceptional very helpful and friendly! A very comfortable clean well appointed room in a great location for the short stay we had!
- Dries (1/5): looks like fraud - This location seem to be used to fraud people. I had a booking made 2 months in advance in this building. I started to receive e-mails (non official ones, pretending to be send by booking.com) as would my credit card info being invalid (which was not the case after revalidating with my bank) . On the day itself my booking got cancelled by them. When I tried via booking to book a new appartement in this building, I bumped into this one. After receiving frist and reservation confirmation, I quickly received a chat that the last apartment was just booked by someone. However there apartment stayed open for booking the rest of the day!?!? given the fact it was for a booking the same day they asked immediate payment....And where unable from their side to cancel? Maybe other people have other experience, but my advise would be to not use these apartments and consider it as scam.
- Marie (8/5): Great - we had a lovely stay. - Excellent location, central, lovely eating spots handy to apartment. Pool was a lovely bonus. Exceptional views - we were on the 22nd floor. Washing machine was handy. Kitchen facilities are basic but helpful, and enabled us to cook the gorgeous shrimps and crab we bought at the market. Harry our host was lovely. We were a group of seven, the apartment really is designed to accommodate six, the seventh person is either on the floor uncomfortable or couch in the central living area. Neither good options or particularly comfortable. Otherwise it was perfect for our needs.

The apartment was not clean and even though there where a kitchen it was not clean and there where not cutlery for 2 persons. And all the cupboards were nasty. Would not stay here again.

- Zaida (3/5): Poor - We saw 3 cockroaches. We stay for 4 nights and they left only 2 toilet rolls. Not enough towels only two and they were stinky. No hand towels or feet towel. They said that they have balcony and that’s not true they have a small space where they have a washing machine. They also has advertise that they have tumble dryer we only found out after we have our clothes washing that they didn’t have one Their swimming pool close at 6 pm and you have to register every single day that you wanna go and the owner has to go with you. The air conditioning is not powerful enough and was dripping water to the point that we have to put pots on the floor and we didn’t have a mop to dry the floor either. The bed wasn’t that bad compared to the one we slept in Hanoi. If you stay in this location that is a bridge away from district 1 you will have to pay extra for the tours if you want them to pick you up and they only drop off in district one so you will have to make your own way back to your hotel.

The apartment is missing a few items like not enough cups/mugs and would have liked a toaster.

Didn’t accommodate for 4 guests as there were not enough cups or cutlery and only 2 sets of chopsticks. Air conditioning in lounge kept turning off after 5 minutes. No towels for pool. Shower head was broken which we advised host but my husband had to fix it. When we asked host for additional items he went into apartment without our knowledge to avoid us. Advertised picture differ to actual apartment.

- Jeremy (8/5): Good value for money budget group accomodation. - I liked the size of the appartments, the views and the proximity to significant landmarks. I didn’t like the waiting for the check in outside in the heat and weather with security guards that don’t allow you in the foyer, and I didn’t like the strict rules pertaining to wearing bathing suits in the lifts or the noodles I found in my tea after I boiled the kettle.
- Shannon (7/5): Good - The apartment check in process was easy, WhatsApp'ed me before we arrived to give information. We were able to use the pool and there were lots of convenient shops and a coffee shop in close proximity. Overall the apartment was nice and it was handy having a washing machine and fridge freezer. The building was clean and modern, with a security guard at the entrance and felt safe. The apartment was mostly fine but the shelving didn't look particularly secure- all of the shelving in the bedroom looked slanted like it would fall off if you used it. We enjoyed the pool but we had to message when we wanted to use it to be 'checked in' so it felt a bit awkward to want to go more than once. There were no changing facilities but used toilets/ shower room.

- Wayne (3/5): Poor - close to district 1, easy to collect the key, quick and easy check out, host respond quick but not be able to solve the problem The room located in a very busy area, and because this is not a proper rental apartment, there is no secure for you. I witnessed a woman traveling alone who, upon arriving at the apartment, discovered that her booking had been canceled. It was nighttime, and she had no idea why it happened or where she could stay, booking this type of property in Vietnam, you will take the risk. The host should take a deep clean and focus on maintaining the place better way, the bathroom very small, you are not allowed to entry the gym at all, the towel are so dirty, we did not use it at all, The freezer was heavily covered in ice, so we had to turn it off for a few days to allow it to defrost, as the ice melted, water leaked out, the whole floor is wet and dirty, it was a nightmare, and we had to handle everything ourselves, including cleaning and fixing the mess, host only came to give us some extra towel to clean the water, did not help to clean at all, and this is the same towel they provide customer as bath towel, so do not use them if you stay here. Some old damage stuffs are still in the cabinet, the washing machine is so dirty and old. I felt like they just want to take your money and give you whatever rubbish that they've got, "look after the customer" is not in their rule, I asked them to change room they said all sold out even I booked this apartment 2 months ago, and the room cost me 1million Vnd per day. - Melanie (1/5): Do not stay here. Listing vs reality are very very different - This apartment was very disappointing. The bathrooms were very tired and weren't particularly clean. Towels and sheets didn't seem well laundered, bathmats were mouldy. There were partially completed 'repairs' to walls and ceilings with several holes unpatched. Mouldy ceilings. The kitchen was so different from the listing and nothing was clean. The property listing did not accurately represent the actual apartment in any way. We were very disappointed and do not recommend this apartment to anyone. It has taken me almost two months after my return to write a review because I felt so let down by the listing vs reality.
- Moonphong (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! I got a free upgrade to a suite and it was amazing. I loved the room. It was so comfortable and had everything I needed. The rooftop pool was so cool and nice to jump in during the humid afternoons

- Kim (2/5): Most disappointing experience - The complex had a nice pool which we didn't get to use and there were a couple convenience store downstairs. The host at the time appeared accommodating as we requested for 1 day earlier arrival in which they were able to meet. We were disappointed with our accommodation as the condition of the property is nothing like the photos posted. Photos advertised appeared to be possibly when the unit was first built, looking clean, with decor, television in rooms etc. We had booked two apartments, 1 x 3 bedroom and 1 x 2 bedroom. Upon check in, we find out both units are in different blocks. We met with host and made full payment for both. Host then went down to take our family to 2nd apartment. After host left, we tried to settle into the apartment only to notice there were alot of disprepency with what was advertised and what we were put in. In one unit, there was wet spot with mold growing through the ceiling, new paint appeared to be painted over to cover it but it was still showing clearly, mold in bathrooms, furniture and walls were dirty with stains. Rooms didn't have TV like advertised. In the other unit, we had similiar issue with old furniture, walls were a little dirty, ensuite bathroom and kitchen cabinets were expanded, mold in bathroom, tvs in bedroom were absent with just stand on wall. Tv in living room wasn't even attached properly with cables hanging everywhere. In the bedroom of one room, there was damp odour smell. Decor in unit was absent. After we checked in we notice air condition system was leaking water so we advised the host whom arranged for technician to come out to fix whilst we were out. Upon coming back, the floor was filled with technicians shoe print, bathroom floor, kitchen floor was all wet . We cleaned it up and advised the host, who sent someone later to clean however we had already done so. We made contact with host and asked to be moved, however was advised no other units were available. We requested refund of the remaining night so we could move to different place and was willing to pay for the 1 night we stayed however this was also rejected. After much contemplation, and for our comfort and health, we decided to leave the units.

- Tim (5/5): Underwhelming Experience at RiverGate Apartment - Good cafe and 7/11 downstairs just a minutes walk. I found my stay at RiverGate Apartment overall underwhelming. If you’re considering staying here, I recommend searching “RiverGate Apartment Saigon” on Google for a more accurate representation of the place. Unsettling Experience with Transportation I had a sketchy experience with the security guard. While waiting for a Grab (15 minutes away), the guard offered to get us a taxi, using Google Translate to communicate. Unfortunately, this turned out to be an unmarked taxi with no meter, something I wouldn’t usually take but before I realised we were already inside. Initially friendly, he agreed to the same price as on Grab, the driver drove just 50 metres before trying to “change money with me.” When his scam attempt failed, he dropped us off almost immediately, claiming his wife was giving birth. Which was a very unsettling experience. Check-In Process The check-in process was inconvenient. You have to message someone on the day of arrival, and they’ll come down to let you in. Despite exchanging messages 30 mins before check-in time, I waited for 10 minutes with no response before they replied and came to check me in. Infinity Pool Restrictions The infinity pool is advertised as a feature of the property, but it’s designed for long-term residents. You have to request registration from the person who checks you in, which adds another layer of inconvenience. Location The location is just okay. It’s next to busy main roads, and there isn’t much to do in the immediate area apart from visiting a café. To explore District 1, you’ll need to take a taxi, which takes upwards of 20–30 minutes depending on traffic. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but felt it necessary given its good rating on booking.com
- Khaled (6/5): It's OK. - The staff and security staff were all friendly. The location is close to the main attractions across the bridge, which you can walk, or Grab on bike or taxi to (walk or bike is preferred). There are convenient stores in the building, which is a plus. There are two gyms also within walking distance. Luggage storage was also offered, another added bonus. I'm surprised the building itself didn't have a gym. The bathroom flooded because the shower drain overflowed quickly. The staff said they would send someone while I was out, but the shower still overflowed quickly. So I don't think it was addressed. I was charged an extra 3% for credit card fees when paying. This is typical in Vietnam. Though I think it should be stated before confirming the booking. I don't recall it was. The staff were friendly, but I also expected more proactive communication when it comes to checkout and using building amenities.
- Andrew (2/5): Very disappointing - Fabulous view from the balcony. Spacious apartment The Wi-Fi did not work even though they kept promising to fix. the communication was poor. The pool is not supposed to be used by guests so you have to book in advance. the security is very strict at the pool. This was disappointing as we booked the property for the pool. You can find much better much cheaper.

- Weng (10/5): Exceptional - Good located. Good restaurants and cafes nearby. Very nice and really helpful owner. Appartment - clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our holidays here. Perfect for parents, travelling without children :-)

- Glenn (8/5): Very good - Very positive and service minded host and nice apartment. The pool area has a poor standard and you have to wait for your host to sign you in every day or time you want to enter the pool.
- Thi (7/5): Apartment is spacious but needs a thorough clean and Reno. - Our 3 bedder apartment was spacious and has a working washing machine, TV and fridge. The apartment did not look like the photos. I felt deceived but cannot change my mind after arriving at the property. It was dirty, worn out and mouldy. The bedding and towels were not fresh. There were stains on the blanket and mattress cover. There were ants in all the rooms as well.

Managing agent who only works from 10am had to come down to sign us in & if he wasn’t available (which he wasn’t for 1 entire day) we weren’t allowed to use the facilities. Also no cooking utensils or coffee cups in the apartment.

Gym is not for guests and cannot be used. Room has a great view but sheets towels etc were dirty. Check in was difficult. Far better options in this price range
- Stacey (8/5): Perfect location for HCMC - Great location, just outside of district 1 but very easy to get there either by foot or by grab. Our apartment was a very good size, smart tv and the washing machine was a great addition. Shops at the bottom of the building and local restaurant and coffee shops also a bonus. John messaged us en route and met us within 5 minutes of arrival - very smooth check in and out process. Door staff are lovely and always had a smile and a wave for us Although we could have used pool we didn’t as had to contact John first (although sure this would have been fine if we had wanted to) Also gym is actually only for permanent residents so we could not use this which is misleading in the description. There are obviously multiple apartments available through this booking and there are multiple bad reviews on google. We had a positive experience but can only comment on our experience.

Very nice service and clean room. rooms well appointed. Well priced. Would definitely recommend to couples.
