- Paquita (1/5): - Nothing This place should be taken off of Booking.com, as it gives a bad reputation. The place was advertised as a one bedroom appartment, just to find that it was a room in a shared house. The room was dirty and smelling, I couldn't even sleep there for one night. The owner refused to give me a refund, although I booked 7 nights and couldn't not even sleep one night because of the conditions in the house and the room.

- Zara (1/5): Bad - Honestly, nothing. We booked 1 night but didn't stay there because the place was filthy!!! Nowhere on booking.com did it say that it was a shared house but we came into a property with a shared bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom was filthy, limescale on the shower head, feces in the toilet bowl, the bed had crumbs on it, cobwebs everywhere, sticky floors, dust everywhere. We couldn't stay at this property.

Smell was so bad. When I booked it was one bedroom apartment and when I paid the money, they changed it for a different ne room ! I bet for tonight I stayed only one night. The location is great, 10 mins from tube station and 5 mins from some nice restaurants.
The room is spacious with nice facilities including a sofa near the window and bed.
There is a toilet with shower that’s shared with another room at ground floor.
There is a kitchen with a large fridge.
The heating is controlled by the agency, so you need to talk to them.
Luckily, agency is responsive and very helpful. When I complained that there isn’t cutlery in the kitchen they immediately got new ones. First of all, the management is a mess. I booked this apartment as shown in the picture. I arrived at the address and it was a nice house, however, the agency does not send codes to the door. Someone opened the door and said they have the code but won’t let me know. Then the agency redirected me to a ‘sister property’ 10 mins away from this one on Fernlea road. They then explained that the original apartment is damaged. The replacement room is of similar structure, but old and in terrible condition which I’ll explain below in detail. I got compensation for this, however the management is really terrible: in the subsequent days, multiple groups of people appeared and claim that they booked this room. The agency just told me to ignore them.
The house has code lock, so anyone with the code could enter.
The heating is central controlled. In old houses of UK, heating is facilitated by bas boilers, which makes heating exceptionally expensive during this time. Thus I totally understand the need to centrally control the heating and be a little bit stingy. It’s a really spacious room thus maybe an electronic heater could be helpful. In UK the electricity choice is more flexible and you can maybe try hybrid options with renewable sources. I lived in an old house before where electricity is subsidized by government, and electricity is like 50% sustainable.
The kitchen has everything, but it has an unknown smell. Also could benefit from refurbishment a lot. The fridge is marked with different zones for each room, however my food is still stolen…
Cleaning lady came in every 2-3 days, which is really helpful as the toilet gets really unpleasant.

- Munachim (1/5): Deceitful, dirty, bad host!!! - Nothing to like at all. There’s nothing to like about the property. They are renting apartment in deceit. Picture shown on here is not what you see. Host can’t be reach over the phone because they know they are doing the wrong thing.

- Yahya (1/5): Not worth the amount paid. - The location. The light fixture in the room only had one light working, the bed was broken, and there was mould around the window. The house was occupied with a family, who were arguing and running around the property. So no quiet time was had.

In order to be able to "check in early," we were advised that an alternative location (not on booking.com) was available where we could go to instead of waiting until 5 pm that day. Accommodation was not near the standard of what we were meant to get, nor was it ready when we arrived. It was absolutely disgusting. The host avoided our calls. We attempted to get our original room back shortly after arriving, but it was unavailable for some reason. Checking booking.com again, the original room was put up again on booking.com for a greater amount than what we had paid for the night. Host confronted and again came back with a bs excuse that there was an issue with the calander. Clearly, the room was booked by us and should still have been available when we asked less than 2 hours later.

- Locrese (1/5): Bad - The very friendly and welcoming lady who allowed me to check-in before their usual 5:00pm check-in time. I went there before time just to confirm that they really have the room and the 3rd reservation at one of their properties will not be canceled at the last minute again. To my surprise the beautiful lady let me check-in easily. Verschrikkelijk!.The dirtyness, the noice, from very early till very late, the busyness, lack of privacy and the attitude of the owner and friends, that female solo-travelers, like me may find very intimidating. I will just cut the very long story of my 2 days adventure in this property short. The property is a great investment that is terribly mismanaged, even though the owner lives there. I thought that the lady that checked me in was the cleaner, when she said 'Wait and let me get your room ready" but I later realized that she is too beautiful to be the cleaner, because practically nothing is cleaned. The property is managed by 2 handsom black men and 2 beautiful white and Asian women., and they are very much precense everywhere, expercialy the owner. The owner is a huge and very tall men and when he is taking or walking around, you will clearly know it.

The host said I had to cancel so that he could waive the fee, but the request sent by booking.cool customerservice to waive fee has not been accepted.

- Caldini (1/5): Worst place I have been in 40 years of traveling - It was close to Balham Station It wasn't at the address I was supposed to be located and found myself in a dirty room, filthy sharing bathroom with other 5 bedrooms. Used bed sheets with hairs, not hot water, awful smell of smoke in the entire house. No heating in the room. Rude host. This place is a scam.
