• Mttmk (10/5): Hotel com quarto espaçoso e localização perfeita - O quarto é confortável e ideal para 3 pessoas. Recepcionistas atenciosas e simpáticas. Localização do Hotel é bem fácil, pois tem Shopping Manauara, Hipermercado Carrefour e Restaurantes próximos. Não tenho comentários negativos.

• Caterina (3/5): - The pool The owner was not professional at all. He said that my card didn’t work through booking (he was supposed to try 5 days before the arrival but checked only on the day we arrived) and when we arrived and they didn’t let us in. We tried to understand what was the problem since we paid every other hotel with the same card and had no problems. He sent us an email with a link to pay him outside booking, which is known to be very unsafe. In general everything was very sketchy and I didn’t like the way it was managed. We waited more than two hours in the hotel hall to get in. At the end we sent him a bank transfer and it worked so I don’t think he had bad intentions but the whole process was very stressful unfortunately. If I have to pay directly through the owner it need to be shown in my booking. On the other hand the room was okay and the pool was very nice.
• Renata (9/5): - Sehr schönes, geräumiges und gepflegtes Apartment. Der Gastgeber reagierte sehr schnell auf alle Anfragen und war sehr hilfsbereit. Schöner Pool auf der Dachterrasse und schnelles Internet.
• Luciane (10/5): É uma ótima opção de hospedagem em Manaus. - O quarto é grande e confortável, a proprietária responde as mensagens com rapidez, a localização é muito boa, o restaurante do hotel é ótimo e o atendimento também. Não tenho nada a reclamar, não tive qualquer problema com relação à hospedagem.
• Rita de Kassia (9/5): - O apartamento estava muito bem cuidado e equipado. A área de lazer no terraço é sensacional e foi recém reformada. Está ótima. O café da manhã do local também é muito bom. O apartamento parecia contar com janela anti-ruido, mas mesmo assim entrava um pouco de barulho da avenida movimentada. Mas nada de mais. Normal em cidades.
• Victoria (9/5): Beautiful & Worthwhile! - I was thoroughly impressed by our stay in APART HOTEL SENSE II – We stayed in the above detailed property for 6 nights. The room is within the hotel but is owned by a private Landlord (strange but a common phenomenon known as “aparthotel”). The room itself is spacious, clean, tidy with large windows which let in lots of light (my favourite part). The bathroom was beautiful with a great shower and large mirror. I found the bed quite comfortable. The room itself is 10/10. The location is also quite good as it is not too far away from the main tourist centre and the Theatre. There are plenty of amenities within the hotel such as the rooftop Pool (it is beautiful), Sauna (you need to pre-request to use this), small Gym, Bar and Restaurant. The view from both the room and the pool was spectacular. There is breakfast available in the hotel for R$60.00 per person, with a large variety of different foods from cold meats to fresh breads and cakes, to juice, coffee, yogurts and fresh fruits. Dinner was also lovely, and the staff were, by far, the nicest people. Carlos at reception went above and beyond for us. He not only provided excellent customer service but also had the patience to list different/unique tourist attractions, answer all of our questions/queries and recommend trustworthy taxis/drivers. He deserves a raise. There is also a small convenient store/shop within the Hotel that is open until late and has all your basic needs such as water, sunscreen, snacks and much more. My biggest issue was with the proprietor’s chosen form of payment. We believed that the money would be taken by booking.com upon check in, or a card machine provided by the proprietor to make the payment. Due to the fact that we were booked in for so many day trips/tours and had no internet for the majority of the trip, it took 4 days and a lot of stress and anxiety, for the payment to go through as all of the options given by the proprietor did not accept a foreign card and/or required a Brazilian Bank account. In the end, I had to transfer the money from my Irish Account to a Brazilian Bank account and finally pay via PIX. It was all very stressful and could have been avoided if the proprietor simply used the booking.com payment method. It should be noted that the deposit was paid via the same card/Bank account and there were seemingly no issues with this. The bathroom smelled a bit due to bad plumbing although this is an overall issue in Manaus and Brazil and therefore not the proprietor’s fault, though I recommend leaving the vent on whenever you can. The juice provided by the hotel at breakfast is also very watered down. The plugs in the room were all pushed into the walls, and essentially unusable. It was very hard to find one that our EU adapters fit into without pushing it further into the wall. This was a little annoying, but we managed to eventually find one and share it between us. The hotel starts cleaning the rooms around 7/8am and we were awoken a couple of times during our stay with a hoover being rammed into the door early in the morning. When asked if they could come back later we were told “no” and continued banging. It was not a nice experience considering checkout is later on and guests are staying in a hotel with the intention of resting and enjoying a holiday. But this was not the proprietor’s fault.
• Constance (8/5): Great hotel! Comfortable room, good location - The pool was under construction during our stay so we couldn’t use it. This was not mentioned on booking.com and the reception also didn’t tell us. They only told us after we asked because I read some previous reviews.
• Caroline (5/5): Passable - It was not at the address stated. The taxi couldnt find it . The reservation was actually for the intercity hotel. I did not want to stay at the intercity hotel. The bar was closed. The restaurant was closed.

• Gwen (8/5): Comfy bed but needs soundproofing - Large bed that’s fairly comfy and very spacious apartment. Good air conditioning - windows are pretty useless at keeping sound out. Dogs barking all night - issues with the WiFi - the lift has a mind of its own, the button actually stopped working to my floor so I couldn’t use it
