• Adventurer (8/5): Cheap, comfortable single room option, but no kitchen - Stayed in a single room. The rooms are very small, just a bed and a shelf on the side, but this was sufficient for my needs. Room has AC! This is vital and made sleeping very comfortable. Laundry is a very reasonable 10 CNY (around $1.5) for wash and dry. 5 minute walk from Qufu metro/subway (use Exit 4 if arriving at this station and walking to the hostel). Wifi was solid. - no kitchen facility or anything to heat up food. - mostly local folk stay here, and not many tourists, so don't expect an international hostel vibe. - bring full-darkness eye-patch as the doors of the single rooms are opague glass and there is a lot of corridor light coming in. See photo - this was taken at 10pm. It's a cheap pace to sleep in whilst you site-see around Shanghai.

• Ivan (10/5): - Location is perfect, you can have a nice walk to nanjing road. Pretty clean, enough showers, never had to wait for anything. It is a very quiet hostel, a lot of 20-25 year olds live here but everyone is minding their own businnes, zero noise, so if you don't want to be bothered this is the perfect place. But I met only a few foreigners. Staff was cool, and I received a small gift at the end :) For some reason even though I booked 4 bed shared room, I got a private room for myself. Not sure if this was a mistake but I kept silent because it suit me :D I suppose this will not happen in general. Thanks to whoever gave me the room though :)

Il y a un petit salon communs agréable. Les couloirs sont silencieux, on dort très bien. L’emplacement géographique est super! • Luke (9/5): - Staff - The lady who seems to be the senior staff was helpful - I once got locked out of my locker (somehow I must've pressed the code wrongly a few times) and on another occasion I had problems adjusting the water in the shower to an appropriate temperature (their taps were not the typical ones) and she helped me on both occasions with no grumbles or inkling of impatience. Location - it's reasonably near a fairly central metro station and there are convenience stores and a few eateries nearby Facilities - somehow I had problems adjusting the water temperature and it was often too hot. The locker was annoying to unlock and I was afraid of disturbing others with all the beeping sounds. Comfort - the pillow and mattress were quite thin so I folded my pillow to make it thick enough to give decent support

• ANGEL JAVIER (8/5): Calidad - ubicación - precio excepcional - La habitación individual con baño compartido, era de un tamaño razonable, con mucho espacio para dejar cosas. La buena atención recibida por la recepción fue espectacular en todo momento. Está muy bien ubicado, a 5 minutos de una estación de metro que conecta facilmente con el resto de líneas de Shanghai. Pude dejar la maleta en consigna al check out y luego al recogerla, me permitieron darme una ducha antes de ir al aeropuerto. La limpieza podría ser un poco mejor. Habian obras (puntuales en la zona), y mosquitos en el espacio de entrada.
• Emanuel (5/5): Super lief personeel, tering vieze locatie. - De locatie was niet zoals op de foto's, het was een grote steiger constructie om het gebouw heen en veel werkzaamheden waardoor de vibe van het gebouw wel degelijk achteruit ging. Er was daardoor veel overlast van werkers en veel geluid. Ook was er iets met de riolering en stonk het buiten als de neten. Hoe schoon het was, de schimmel zat van de muren tot het plafond door heel de douche. De schimmel zat ook in de kamer, dat was echt niet fijn.

• Lisa (8/5): Good hostel - I previously stayed at a Weflow Hostel in Shanghai, but this time I tried a different one and I found this one much better than the other! It's much bigger, easy to find, and has plenty of toilets and showers overall, just great. Don’t expect too many internationals, but that’s the case everywhere in China. I’ve seen more foreigners here than in my previous hostel anyway! It's close to the metro and just one stop away from People’s Square. There’s a mall and lots of food options nearby. The air conditioning was set to 16 degrees, but I don't think it was working properly because it was incredibly hot in the room, especially in my bed.

• Andrei (3/5): Overall, the hostel has some good points, but the cleanliness, language barrier, and poor room setup really brought the - - Great Location – Convenient and easy to access. - Clean Bedding – The sheets were fresh and tidy. - Quiet & Peaceful – No noise issues; good for rest. - Air Conditioning – The single room had AC, which was great. - Amenities Available – Drinking water, shared fridge, microwave, and laundry facilities were provided. - Language Barrier – Only one staff member spoke English well. When I needed help, the others couldn’t understand me. - Cleanliness Issues – The room wasn’t exactly dirty, but there was a thick layer of dust under the bed, long strands of someone else’s hair on the shelf, and dirty walls. - Poor Room Layout– There was only one power outlet, and both the outlet and light switch were near the entrance, which was very inconvenient. Since the room was basically just a bed, it would have been more logical to place them near the headboard. - Strange Towel Situation– Instead of a proper towel, I was given a large disposable wipe—never seen that before. - Bad Smell & Poor Maintenance – The toilets were clean but had a strong unpleasant odor. The showers also smelled bad, and the faucets were in poor condition.

Also it is the first hostel in china which I noticed they put internationals together in one room, which helps to make connections. SPECIAL MENTION; I forgot a personal booklet in the hostel and the staff was so so kind to send it as a delivery to my next hostel in Beijing. HUGE SHOUTOUT So I did see bad reviews about the cleanliness of the showers. The rooms were definitely clean but the showers do deserve some more attention. Although it is mostly the smell, which I think comes from a clogged sewer

• Nils (9/5): - Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich, die beiden Damen haben sich sehr um meine Anliegen gekümmert. Mein Bett war sehr bequem und der Aufenthaltsraum groß genug um sich gut zu unterhalten, da man schnell ins Gespräch kommt. Es werden Zahnbürsten gestellt, ein Handtuch, ein paar Slipper und zum Abschied, was besonders süß war, gab es noch ein Goodie. Mir hat der Aufenthalt in Shanghai mehr als gut gefallen und ich konnte durch dieses Hotel/Hostel in die Straßen von Qufu eintauchen, aber auch die Szeneviertel vorne am Fluss bestaunen. Die sanitären Einrichtungen dürften öfter gewischt werden, aber das liegt wohl eher an den Gästen, als am Haus.

Small common area Cheap option for Shanghai Bed are very uncomfortable Staff do not speak English (Some has zero English) and are not welcoming nor willing to help you Bathroom are very dirty Left a day earlier (however paid the extra night and did not asked for a refund ) Many guests are local and seem to live here long term.
• STTKKO (7/5): - 女子4人部屋に宿泊。 小さめバックパックなら収納可能な4桁暗証付ロッカーが各ベッドに備え付けられている。また1.3mほどの長い棚があるところも便利で良かった。（但し棚の奥行き分ベッドの有効幅が狭くなってしまうので痛し痒し。） エアコンで多少和らいでくるが、入室した途端にカビの匂いが鼻をつく。 カーテンではなくロールスクリーンなので、ちょっと当たるだけでスクリーン下の金具とベッドフレームが当たり、カンカンと大きな音を立てて部屋中の人たちを起こしてしまうところは気を使う。 女子用シャワールームはいくつかあるが、一つを除き全て狭いので濡らしたくないものが濡れる可能性あり。広めの一つはなぜか男性も使っているというセキュリティの緩さなので気にする方には全くオススメできない。女子トイレも数箇所あるが、男女共用の洗面所がすぐ隣にあり、暖簾なども一切ないので、こちらもまたセキュリティ上の不安要素。

• Delphine (5/5): Décevant - Proche d’un centre commercial et du métro Qufu (je trouve la sortie 1 mieux) Le lit en bois dur (standard en chine) n’était pas désagréable. Chaussons fournit Sanitaires très très sales! Sûrement lavés qu’une fois par jour (la nuit) ce qui n’est pas vraiment pas assez vu le débit. Prise au pied du lit et qui ne tient pas le courant. Le staff ne parle pas anglais (ok normal) mais n’est aussi pas très souriant. Attention , Serviette en papier, prenez votre serviette ou comme moi au centre commercial on en trouve pour pas cher. Très bruyant. Les gens sont dans des “box individuel” et pensent que le son ne passe pas 🤣
• Bloch (10/5): L'ensemble est bon. - Les besoins fondamentaux peuvent également être satisfaits.Le petit déjeuner n'est pas facile.Les membres du personnel qui ont des problèmes peuvent les contacter. Leurs salles de bains sont sales, Le matin, il sera propre,le personnel quitte le travail après 5 heures, s'il vous plaît renforcer l'hygiène.
• Ruissen (10/5): เยี่ยมมาก - ตําแหน่งทางภูมิศาสตร์เป็นสิ่งที่ดีทุกอย่างสะดวกฉันขอแนะนํา โปรดเพิ่มความพยายามในการทําความสะอาดอีกครั้งอืมมมม.
• Lacoste (10/5): Auf der 1. Etage gibt es ein Café, wo die Mitarbeiter Kaffee kaufen können. - Ich denke, dieser Preis ist angemessen, billig, die Lage ist gut, wohin es geht, ich empfehle immer noch. Wenn Sie wie ich ein Rucksacktourist sind Viele gelbe Regale an den Außenwänden des Hotels sind renoviert, ist es schwierig, das erste Mal zu finden.
