• Ethel (1/5): INSALUBRE ET CAFARDS - Le logement est bien situé géographiquement. Appartement extrêmement décevant et surtout insalubre. Nous avons été choqués par l’état général du logement. Le ménage était clairement inexistant : chewing-gum collé au sol de la salle de bain, plaque de cuisson du four sale, traces de mains sur les murs, toiles d’araignée, mousse et eau stagnante à l’extérieur… et surtout présence de cafards dans la salle de bain. Inacceptable pour une location. De nombreux équipements étaient cassés ou manquants : * support du pommeau de douche cassé, * porte-papier toilette cassé, * tiroirs qui tombent littéralement dans les mains, * fenêtre de cuisine qui s’est décrochée, * rideaux cassés, * pas de porte pour fermer un des toilettes, * une seule brosse WC pour deux toilettes, * manque de vaisselle, * absence de torchon, d’aspirateur ou de balai, * taie d’oreiller manquante, * trou dans le sol, * absence de volets/rideaux dans certaines pièces. Le jardin était également inutilisable : herbes très hautes, bassin sale avec bouteilles de protoxyde d’azote à l’intérieur, ambiance totalement laissée à l’abandon. Le logement donne une impression générale de négligence totale et de manque d’hygiène. Louer un appartement dans cet état est irrespectueux envers les voyageurs.

Keittiö oli tosi rasvainen joka puolelta. Laitoin tästä viestiä saapumispäivänä. Luvattiin hoitaa samana / seuraavana päivänä, mutta mitään ei tapahtunut oleskelumme aikana. Keittiön pesimme itse, että siellä saattoi olla.

• federica (8/5): Buona soluzione per un soggiorno breve - Ho occupato l'appartamento al terzo piano, è in un'ottima posizione, luminoso, piuttosto grande, abbastanza pulito e fornito anche nella cucina. L'edifico è senza ascensore, le scale sono piuttosto ripide, la scala interna per accedere al soppalco che ospita il letto ancora di più. Senz'altro un aspetto da considerare al momento della prenotazione. Manca l'abatjour sul comodino. Migliorabile la parte del bagno con doccia e lavabo.
• SONIA (5/5): Buena ubicación pero apartamentos con muchas incidencias - La ubicación Nosotros cogimos 2 apartamentos. El dúplex tiene escalera desde el salón al dormitorio super empinada, con peldaños muy estrechos, es muy peligrosa y no es apta ni para niños ni para ciertos adultos. Es más, no creo ni que cumpla con las condiciones necesarias. La persiana del dormitorio de este apartamento estaba rota y se quedaba a medias. El radiador de la cocina y una del salón no funcionaban. Había muy poca presión de agua para ducharse. El apartamento del segundo piso tenía el horno muy sucio y al encenderlo se formó una buena humareda por toda la suciedad. De las 2 ventanas que hay en el salón, la cortina de una estaba rota y en la otra ventana no hay cortina, por lo tanto te ven los vecinos de enfrente cuando duermes en el sofá cama. En el salón no hay casi luz, una sola bombilla sencilla colgando de un cable. Además, la limpieza deja mucho que desear, nos encontramos una sábana manchada de sangre debajo de la cama. Los colchones de los apartamentos son muy finos, parecen colchonetas. Las puerta de entrada a los apartamentos son muy sencillas y dan poca seguridad, además que entra bastante aire frío porque no están ajustadas. Sinceramente, a estos apartamentos les hace falta mucho mantenimiento.

• Irma (3/5): Zeer slecht appartenent - Temperatuur in huis was comfortabel Wat een schandalig appartement voor deze prijs. We zijn teleurgesteld over de verwaarloosde indruk. Meerdere kapotte lampen, een bank die gescheurd was en tijdens ons verblijf uit elkaar viel, geen gordijnen voor de schuifpui van het slaapgedeelte, kapotte vloeren, zeer karige keukeninventaris, defecte magnetron, loshangende snoeren ....enz. Wij hebben contact gezocht met de verhuurder, tot 2x toe, maar geen enkele reactie.

• Martina (1/5): BORDERLINE SCAM - STAY AWAY - Impossible to contact the owners. Number indicated in the contacts is wrong - someone else picks up and says they are no longer involved with the property. I had several problems during my stay - including the entrance door to the apartment, which is in very poor conditions - no longer closing - and it was not possible to get any help. I have moreover tried to request the invoice for several days as needed for work - at first I got answers in the app chat that they would send it, but I did not get the invoice and am also no longer receiving answers..... I would warmly advise to stay away from this terribly bad service. The building is old and poorly renovated, there was even a leakage of water next to the bathroom. Only one in 5 radiators works, so the apartment was very cold. Windows have no curtains or curtains were too small for window and partly broken, meaning it is not possible to get the apartment dark at night. As the house is old, sound isolation is not great.

• Martin (3/5): Bon emplacement mais appartement très en dessous des attentes (lmauvais qualité du mobilier) - L'emplacement était bien Tout était cassé ou en mauvais état et nous devions prendre des photos de tout car risque de plainte derrière. Nous n'étions pas tranquille. Nous avons aussi un couchage de cassé donc nous avons dormi par terre puis a 3 dans des couchages pour 2.

• Mayank (3/5): For the price we paid, this condition is unacceptable. - Appartment is not congested Very disappointed with the apartment. There was no elevator, and both the heater and A/C were not working. A terrible smell kept coming from the shower drain, and there was no exhaust fan in the toilet. The kitchen tap splashes water outside the sink, making it very inconvenient. On top of that, door handles were loose and not fixed properly.

• Jiri Pachman (6/5): - Apartmán je poměrně velký. Vybral jsem jej, protože je umístěn blízko místa, kde jsem měl jednání a byl za lepší cenu než hotel. Schody do ložnice jsou velice příkré a dlouhé. Sprchový kout s igelitem patří spíše do minulého století. Koupelna by si zasloužila rekonstrukci. Ručníky nebylo kam pověsit, dvířka od skrini sotva držela... Celkově by to chtělo apartmán trochu modernizovat.
• Romulus (1/5): The worst "stay" ever! 👎 - To be honest, this was the worst "stay" ever! Address: Rue du Prince Royal 79, 1050 Ixelles, Belgium. Apartment location: the ground floor one. Apartment name: Rue Royal - Rez. The ground apartment door handle was not secure. We found only 1 screw that was actually holding the door handle, on each side. One of the sofa beds was broken/damaged and had cigarette burn holes. The apartment presented itself dirty, dusty - not used for some time/not taken care of properly. The apartment floor was damaged in various places - as highlighted in the photos. The electric cooking plate was not functional. The ceiling lighting in the dining room/zone was not working and it appeared to only have 1 light bulb. The fridge seemed to be broken as well. The bed sheets were missing for at least 1 bed. Thus, the conditions were not appropriate for staying. We've spoken several times with the first person of contact - Nathalie (phone number found on Booking.com). We tried to resonate, but Nathalie seemed to just try to waste our time, so we would actually stay there for the night. We asked for another apartment, but she told us that all her apartments were fully booked. Afterwards, we called Booking's Customer Service - explained our situation. We were given the "ok" to leave the apartment, as the issue will be escalated further, as well as our refund request. Now, after 2 months+, we are still waiting for the refund. Every time we contact the CS, we are told that they can do nothing, as the property management team is not answering at all (calls, messages, emails). We were advised to try to contact the property as well - we did try, but still with no answer (but a 'seen' on WhatsApp). Some of the photos used to advertise this apartment were mixed, from a different stay. We were a group of 6 people, we were all disappointed. We decided not to stay here and to book another apartment.

• Andrea Matteo (7/5): Carino per 3 giorni ... senza formalizzarsi troppo - Posizione semicentrale con metro a 10 minuti, alloggio ampio. Arredamento funzionale ma che presenta i segni del tempo Pulizia accettabile, necessaria un po' di manutenzione (finestra non si apre, tenda rotta, 2 maniglie della porta rimaste in mano, tenda strappata). L'alloggio è al secondo piano senza ascensore. Le scale sono ripide ed i gradini piccoli ... quindi sconsigliato a chi non si muove agilmente.

• Arantxa (3/5): Unas escaleras de muerte - Ya cuando nos llegó el correo nos habían cambiado la hora de entrada de las 15:00 a las 16:00. Nos daban un código para la caja de las llaves y un teléfono para WhatsApp únicamente. Advirtiendo que el piso era el último. Cuando entramos a las 16:00 nos encontramos unas escaleras empinadisimas donde no cabía el pie y el piso era el cuarto. Al ir a abrir la caja el código no funcionaba y el número de teléfono no admitía WhatsApp. Nos dedicamos a llamar a todos los teléfonos que encontramos, hasta que nos dieron el contacto correcto. Encima nos manda un SMS diciendo si no nos habíamos leído las instrucciones. Cómo no nos creía nos pidió un vídeo por SMS y Dijeron que el código no era correcto y nos dieron otro. Esto no acaba aquí, al entrar en casa, nos encontramos que las escaleras que subían al dormitorio eran empinadisimas y tan estrechas que daba miedo. Bajarlas era un problema porque al tener q dar la luz despertabas a los de abajo. Mis hijos no saben ni como es la parte de arriba. El baño estaba sin cortina y tuvimos que llamar. Las cortinas de la ventana de la habitación no cerraban y a las 5 de la mañana despiertos ... Aunque el apartamento está bien situado, las escaleras hacen que no merezca la pena más la problemática de las llaves.
• Maria Clara (4/5): - A localização é muito boa e o valor da hospedagem também. Éramos 3 casais. Dois precisaram dormir em sofás camas que desmontavam o tempo todo porque estavam quebrados. Nao tinha cortinas na sala, o dia clareva 5h. Os banheiros ficaram todos no andar subsolo, péssimo pra quem estava dormindo no piso térreo. Somente um chuveiro e uma banheira no meio do nada, nao dava pra usar. Todos os banheiros sem portas. O chuveiro sempre inundava, era preciso esperar muito tempo de um banho pro outro. O lugar dava um pouco de medo, pra falar a verdade. Nao vale o preço e localização pelo restante que foi bem ruim.
• adnan (1/5): - Daire nezih bir semtte ama merkeze biraz uzak Daireye girişte sorun yaşadık, 2 saat kapıyı açmak için bekledik, üst kattaki Alman misafirler olmasa sokakta, kalacaktık. Daire sahibi bu daireleri kiraya verecekse biraz yatırım yapsın(klozetler bozuk, dairenin içi dökülüyor,sokak kapısının kolu elimizde kaldı, temizlik yok v.s). Bizden sonra üst kata konaklamaya gelen Afrikalı misafirler aynı sorunu yaşadı, saatlerce kapıda kaldı. Bir daha aynı tesiste asla kalmam ve kimseye tavsiye etmiyorum
• Alvaro (1/5): Dirty and poorly mantained. Has potential health hazards - The property has potential but it is dirty and very poor managed. The problem with this property start outside. The main door’s glass was broken and it was not fixed with dangerous sharp pieces of glass next to the doorknob. The carpet in the staircase smells of dirt and seems not to have been cleaned in years. The railing in the staircase is loose and someone could fall downstairs. The apartment was given to us dirty. There was a medicine leftover in the living room, leftover bread in the kitchen, and the trash bin in the bathroom was not emptied. The blind in the upper window is broken. The property offers little to no appliances. Even there was no soap at all in the bathrooms and one of the towels has holes in them. The railing to the upper floor is loose and one can easily have an accident. This place should be reported to the local health authority for potential health hazards.

• Beyza (8/5): Thank you to the Huswell team. - We stayed in this beautiful house for 3 nights. The house is right next to the sea, 5 minutes walking distance, which was great for us. The staff is very attentive, for example we had a small problem with the dishwasher and they solved it immediately. They answered our questions quickly. The house is very clean. There is 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed for 2 people. If one person sleeps in the living room, 5 people can stay comfortably. The vacuum cleaner, oven, coffee machines etc. work. The oven and cooking utensils are spotlessly clean. Thank you to the Huswell team. Even if it was a washing machine it would be 10/10.

There was a lot space in apartment so it’s also an advantage. It could be more clean inside, especially in bathroom, but the standard acceptable.

• Javier (4/5): Owners should improve the overall comfort of the apartment - the place of the building was quite ok the apartment is very old with many outdated things on it, for example there were no courtains in the bathroom and not screen on the shower tray, therefore everyone from outside could see the shower :(

• Peter (6/5): Could be improved - The location was excellent for our needs. A little way down a quiet side street just off Louisa platz where we could get anywhere by metro, bus or tram. The apartment was very characterful but needs more work doing to it. The door locks were not easy to secure. The stairwell is painted black and very dark even with the light on. There's no lift to the upper floors. There was no hot water in the kitchen, we notified the landlord and he said he'd fix it but didn't. It sleeps 4 but there were only 3 mugs, all were dirty & 1 chipped. No clean wash up sponge or tea towels provided and no tea, coffee etc. Bathroom blind not fitted and bedroom curtains don't fit. We also returned on our last night to a flood from upstairs into the dining room which had soaked a coat and rucksack. I phoned and spoke to Nathalie who was helpful and said she'd advise the landlord..... We were also unlucky with the upstairs neighbours who were noisy until midnight and then from around 5am. don't know if they were on holiday or permanent residents.

• Alyssa (5/5): It was enough to rest, but it wasn't the most enjoyable. - It would've been nice to know how the floor system worked, if the first floor is considered ground for floor 1. But overall it was easy to get the keys. The living room and downstairs area was cute and open. The TV worked amazingly. Location was nice! Close to shops and restaurants, but not the best for more tourist attractions. It was sooooo cold when we arrived and it took 24 hrs to reach our desired temperature. The wifi was horrible. The connection only worked at the table and did not go upstairs. The bathroom images were not listed on the website and I assumed it would be as nice as the rest of the apartment, but there was black mold all around the shower. I was too scared to use it. There were not towels in the kitchen or soap in the bathroom. The stairs are very steep and scary to get down from. Even with the heat on, it did not go upstairs and the living room was the only place. Location wise, it was far from central Brussels with their main attractions. It does require a lot of walking to get to the central city. There were no other blankets to keep us warm, we had to use the towels for extra warmth.
• Sajra (2/5): Very poor - The apartment was extremely cold throughout my stay, with no adequate heating provided despite the low temperatures. As a result, I became severely sick during my time there, and unfortunately, the illness has persisted for months. This has had a significant impact on my health and well-being, and I believe it is directly connected to the poor conditions of the apartment. I urge you to address this issue and ensure future guests are not subjected to similar experiences. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

• Davit (8/5): Good for the price but be ready for some interesting surprises - Excellent location and great atmosphere in the apartment. The toilets didn't have doors, and some part of the kitchen's floor was broken. Also the draining of the bathroom was horrible and the water stood still very fast.
• Elghazzaoui (7/5): A great appartment but it needs curtains - Location and easy access, The apartment is very spacious There was no curtains in the living room and the ones in the bedroom don’t close properly so u can’t sleep late if u wanted to , the shower also had no curtains so at night while showering u have no idea if someone is watching…. Also the floor in the living room makes so much noise while walking so u have to be careful walking if ur friends are asleep

• Anne (5/5): Passable - Location and size of apartment are great It was said in the description that there was access to a terrace and garden but we were on the first floor and there was nothing of the sort. I believe that I was mislead as the flat downstairs has access to the garden and this is the one they show in the pictures on the advertisement. There is one bedroom and a sofa in the living room where my daughters were sleeping. The flat is meant for 4 but there are no curtains in the living room. There is NO HOT WATER in the kitchen - the sink is only connected to COLD WATER. not very practical for washing the dishes (as there is no dishwasher). The communication with the company dealing with the apartment was very poor - they do not address the questions.

• Michael (8/5): Great location. Comfortable apartment. Very steep stairs to the mezzanine bedroom - The key code and access process was very good. The apartment was very clean, warm and well appointed. I stayed 2 nights and it was very comfortable. The location was very good. The stairs to the mezzanine bedroom was extremely steep (almost a ladder) and difficult to get a suitcase to the bedroom. The railing did not feel sturdy. The stairs should be fitted with more/better hand-holds.

When we had an emergency, WHILE I WAS TALKING TO THE AMBULANCE the point of contact to the property was annoyed that I had reached out to him. Place full of dirt, with broken tiles. Pictures are confusing, as they show many different properties. There was no working TV.
