We loved the apartment, however it isn’t the same as shown on the photos (no fireplace for example) Similar quality and great location however.

Our family trip to London was scheduled for two weeks. I have booked our accommodations through Booking.com, choosing from lists of properties filtered by location, reviews score and images posted on website descriptions.
The first week we stayed at 37GS Residents in Soho/Mayfair neighborhood. It was a service apartment managed by a professional team. The overall experience was brilliant. We were so used to the fittings and areas that my kids didn’t want to move.
The second week we moved to this privately owned apartment which was near Covent Garden. Location wise, it was convenient with walking distance to British Museum and has many restaurants and bars around it. At nights, it’s considered quiet enough for getting a quality sleep after 10pm, but you can hear the music still playing until midnight during the weekend. This didn’t bother us much since we usually sleep late.
What really bothering me was the fact that layout and fittings of this apartment was not the one shown on the website in the first place. When we first entered the apartment and looked around each room and bathroom, they somehow seemed to be smaller than what we were expecting. At first, I thought it might be the image effect which pictures taken usually looked bigger than real. I raised up this question and the host explained they renovate the apartment monthly with interior designer and curated the space according to seasonal touch. But after I compared in detail, the whole apartment was in no way the same one as shown in the images posted on the website.
The fireplace was not there. Living room furniture, tables, sofa and chairs were all different. Kitchen, bedroom and bathroom layouts including fixtures were totally not the same and the space appeared to be much smaller.
