Guest Reviews
- Bryan (1/5): Dirty and uncomfortable and over priced - Absolutely nothing. Everything. The sheets looked dirty, the floor was dirty, the bathroom was dirty. The mattress springs were digging into our backs. Definitely not worth the cost . I would not recommend this to anyone. The parking is non existent. The only thing available is street parking on a busy street where a car almost hit us while taking out our suitcases.
The ratings on this place are absolutely false and fabricated by the owners i predict.
- Polly (9/5): I enjoyed seeing the people in the area when I went out for walks - I did not know that there was breakfast available. Getting used to the entry codes timeframes I felt safe at all times during my stay.
- Rudy (10/5): Excellent Place to Stay! - Room cleanliness Nothing

- Marta (3/5): I wouldn’t stay there again. - Bathroom was nice and modern. The room was dirty. There was a toilet paper under the bed. I couldn’t find the remote. Ig was under the bed. The sheets were dirty- I hope they were changed and it was just stained. I hope. There was a lot of door banging. Newly coming guests couldn’t figure out how to enter the building and were knocking loudly on the door and windows to in. At 11 pm.

- Davide (1/5): Wouldn’t stay there again - Booked a triple bunk setup for me and my teenager.
Instead got a double bed and both didn’t get any sleep.
Heating was central for the complex so was either too hot or freezing. Rest of the room was below standard re privacy with blinds etc
- Farizah (6/5): Just want we needed for the night, close to the airport - Close to the airport and clean. Pretty basic. Noisy from all the traffic. Need the windows to be sound proof. Need lights front and back in the parking area or security lights cause it was pretty dark. The towels was damp, maybe a bit more thicker ones

- Kelgray (1/5): Unsatisfactory - The lady whom we spoke with, owner perhaps, was super nice and accommodating. just like the accomodation we stayed in when at Uni... a series of single rooms with a shared kitchen/lounge area. Horrible bunk bed. So low we hit our heads. Water damage repairs to floor and wall were shocking. We felt we would fall through the floor and there were numerous trip hazards. (Flooring lifting) Busy, noisy road. We could not wait to leave
- Liam (1/5): - Crap
- Steve (7/5): Nice choice for airport needs - As advertised. Ok for the cost and close to the airport. No issues.
- Janelle (7/5): Close to airport - A 10 minute drive to the airport and close to our rental car drop off. Very noisy flooring.

- Sean (7/5): Quick Airport Stop - Close to airport walking distance from shops and local authentic Middle Eastern shish restaurants. Walked from bus station on Pascoe Vale. Took a $20 cab ride to airport mainly because I was too lazy to walk to bus station

- sebastiano (8/5): Good location, clean and tidy, but noisy - Easy check in and Check out, nearby the airport, clean Very noisy all the night
- Camila Belen (1/5): Disappointed - Not much Toilet had a very strong bleech smell. No air con, super hot. Room was with a lot of crumbles everyday no worth the money
- John (7/5): Met the two criteria of inexpensive and near the airport. Not memorable but serviceable. - Very convenient from the airport, good communication with clear check in instructions. Very practical choice and easy to park with plenty of spaces. Great WiFi. There was a minimalist quality to most of the furnishings and of course because it is a "common area" kitchen that brings it own set of complications and quality issues. When I was there a huge group checked in...about12+ people who all knew each other. They were friendly but loud and took over the kitchen and the house completely!!!! I think if you are going to book a large group you have to alert the other guests. The room was OK but very basic and the mattress could have been better. The TV did not really work very well (but as noted before the WiFi was excellent.) The kitchen had everything you could need except there were no dish towels or paper towels .
- Prabh (7/5): - Me and my partner had a nice stay at Maruve Guesthouse. The beds were comfy, plenty of room, clean bathrooms, and the kitchen was cosy and nice. It felt like a home. Had all facilities. The lock on the room doors are a bit tricky to open, it would be nice to have an easier option. Overall really nice. The check in time was also at 2pm which is a bit inconvenient.
- Norbert (10/5): Ajánlom átutazóknak, és turistáknak is. - Korrekt, rugalmas. Nem volt ilyen.

- Geza (7/5): zu empfehlen - Lage relativ nahe beim Flughafen somit ideal für einen Zwischenstopp. Zimmer mit Bad. Betten bequem
- Krzyzanowski (8/5): - Simple but clean and comfortable. Close to airport and very good value. Perfect for an early flight
- Robert (8/5): - The front door entrance was sometimes faulty and needed to be retried a few times, on a couple of evenings.
- Charlie (7/5): -
- Philip (6/5): - Easy to find. Facilities were fine. Second bed was a trundle bed with no extra pillows or blanket or quilt. Accommodation had stairs which weren't listed.
- Bingjie (8/5): -

- Sara (2/5): Bed bugs!!! - The property was convenient to the airport. I got severe bed bug bites from this property, the aircon was not able to be turned off either!

- Janet (8/5): - Close to airport. Kitchen facilities.
- Rod (8/5): Clean basic accommodation, kitchen area was clean, tidy & quite functional. -
- Mavis (8/5): -
- Rhoda (7/5): - Cheaper and accessibility The bed creaking every time you move in
- Nils (7/5): Functional and clean - Close to airport and easy to get to the room with clear instructions.
The private room and bathroom was clean.
Quiet area at night. No noise isolation between the rooms, some others were up at 5 am and woke us without making special noise.
Stacked bed is functional but very low distance to the upper bed. Also the bed is short, my feet hang of it so I think it’s only 1.9 m long. The bed is noisy with every move.
Kitchen was a bit untidy with food on the stove.
- Jackson (8/5): -
- Nichole (5/5): - Easy entry, communal facilities good Guests leaving early for work??? Rooms are double beds, if you have an extra person then one sleeps on trundler bed on floor. Stayed 5 nights, each night from 11-2am there were cars and dirt bikes racing down the street

- Wesley (9/5): Really enjoyed this place - This place was great. It's a very private bnb type building, and was really clean, bright, comfortable, and nice. My priority was finding one of the lowest cost places to stay in Melbourne with a private bathroom, and I was willing to stay a little further outside of the city to achieve this, and this place delivered. My room had two queen beds, bathroom was clean and well-maintained. Parking was easy, you just go down the driveway beside the building and there is a small lot behind the building with spacious parking. Check in instructions sent ahead of time were easy also, there's a keypad on the front door, and then a lockbox on each room with a key inside, provided codes worked for both. Not much I didn't like. The building's air conditioning is centrally controlled so you can't adjust it for your room specifically, but I felt comfortable the whole time so no big deal. My room was near the street so moderate car noise but not really an issue, just bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to that. I could also hear someone snoring through the walls, but again the earplugs helped. May recommend to the host to spread out the residents if possible. This is a solid choice if you have a car and just need a low cost place to stay. Not sure if it would be challenging to get to by public transit.
- Sridhar (7/5): -
- Dharam (8/5): Reasonably comfortable & budget friendly facilities fully automized & digitized. - Check in & Check Out (without any staff) Front Desk/Reception
- Thomas (1/5): Rooms require sterilisation and renovations - Nothing we did not stay the night No aircon, if you opened the window you got loud street noise as it was a main road. The sheets were dirty, someones hair in the sheets, mouldy bathroom.
- Ian (3/5): - Too many screaming kids right opposite my room for the whole day and night. Air con didn’t work properly I was really hot and it was very noisy. No desk or table inside my room but there was a spare bed and apparently I got upgraded. To what? Also bad location
- Merle (6/5): It was ok. - It was easy to get to in a great location. Whist there is a shared kitchen and other guests are supposed to clean up after themselves… they didn’t. We had to clean the kitchen before we could cook.
The beds linen had what looked like oil/liquid stains on them and hair. When speaking to owner, was given code to linen room so we could get unstained and clean sheets.
