Guest Reviews
- Mikołaj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helena (8/5): Great stay, perfect for what we wanted. - Location to the London Stadium, bars and restaurants. Apt was comfortable, clean and just what we need. Communication with host was spot on. No issues. Nothing, all good.
- Esther (5/5): So-so, wouldn't recommend. - The location was easily accessible, around 15mins walking distance to the Stratford station and Westfield shopping mall. (However, if you are carrying many luggages, it can be quite tiring to walk). I used to live in this neighbourhood before and thus I quite like it. There is an Asian grocery shop which is a stone's throw away. Host's colleague passed the key during check in and showed us the place. Easy checkout by dropping the keys in the mailbox. We stayed there for 6D5N and we weren't enjoy the stay at all. Everything looks nice on the pictures but if you look closely in real life, there will be a lot of thing that hosts can improve on.
1. Many clutters in the house, you can find some random toys or used towers in the drawers/cabinets.
2. The shower head has spoiled with the water splashing towards the ceiling, instead of showering downwards. We messaged the owner about it but he just ignored our messages. =(
3. Very dirty kitchen appliances, trust me you won't have the appetite to eat the food if you are using the kitchen appliances to cook or boil water. We ended up buying a new pot for cooking.
4. Dead insects was found on the sofa and dusts on the bedding. My sis has rashes on her body after sleeping on the bed. We've sent the pictures to the host and he just mentioned that it could be due to the opened window, but we weren't open the window at that time.
With the price we paid, we appreciate a clean and comfy place to rest, especially after long days of travelling. Hope owner can improve on the cleanliness, replace the kitchen appliances and repair the spoiled parts in the house before publishing it for listing. Wish you all the best!
- Andreas (10/5): Exceptional - Centralized and near to Stratford Underground and Supermarktes. Good Communication to the owner.

- Elizabeth (9/5): Stratford Stay - Excellent located accommodation, met our needs exactly.
- Vikki (5/5): Comfortable beds - The area was fanatic. Westfield shopping centre is a 10 min walk with train station . The view from apartment was great as on 6th floor Previou review had stated the shower in main bathroom when in full the water is spraying ontop the lights above and water goes everywhere. This should have been fixed as previous reviews had stated this. Also we had the call to get the prepared meter topped up as only £1.42 on it. We had to clean the apartment as dust and stale smell, luckily theirs was cleaning products . The flat is definitely a residents holiday home. Loads of kids toys and family stuff laying about . We asked for an iron as said this was in apartment, was told it would be delivered and never was. If the cleaning was a better standard then this apartment would be ideal in every way, unfortunately the cleaning needs to be better standard. The fact the guy kept saying when me met him to get the key was " mind alive us a 5 star reviews. Unfortunately this is no something I could with issues we had
- Terri (10/5): close to everything and anything - it was in a great location and the team was very easy even when i was a bit confused or miscommunicated they worked with me . it was all fine but next time i need an iron.
- Carole (1/5): Don't go there - Location is good. The property was warm. Needed cleaning, dangerous showers, damaged furnishings, tv not working, owners personal stuff around, very poor.
- Eve (6/5): London Bolthole perfect location for O2/ABBA arena/Olympic Park/Westfields/ West Ham - 3 Bedrooms
2 bathrooms
Spacious lounge/diner/kitchen
Location
Quiet
Good supply of useful items- washing up liquid, plenty of toilet roll, hand-wash, kitchen roll etc
Heating was constant and consistent We provided arrival time but we were told to message when 30mins away which we did but our message wasn't picked up until 20mins after we sent it so we then had 50mins wait for key delivery.
Luckily we gained access to entrance hall to block of flats as it had started to rain and was bitterly cold.
The meeter/greeter was apologetic and we understood about traffic but having been absolute about our arrival time and on time it was disappointing.
Terrible showers - rusted and made the jets aim upwards not down- in both main and en suite- narrowly missing electric inset spotlights which is a definite safety hazard.
We would describe it as basic not luxurious
TV was impossible to use - power but no remote instructions or dead batteries???
Lots of 'strange' personal items randomly around the flat
- Mosharaf (7/5): Good - The layout of the flat, very nice rooms with a lovely terrace! We stayed with family and it was really nice. Also, the location was absolutely spot on!
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): We would definitely book this apartment again!! - Location was perfect...just a 10 minute walk into the town.
Really nice apartment, lovely and warm... and so quiet!
Everything there that we needed - except a corkscrew.... Good job we brought our own 😃
The owner very kindly let us stay an extra hour before we checked out which we really appreciated
RECOMMENDED!! Could have done with a mirror in 2 of the bedrooms, but it was no big deal

- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, 10 minute walk to Stratford station. Very clean and modern. Great communication with the hosts.
- Margaret (1/5): Stay away very poor - Nothing poor owner Owner Cancelled 2 hours before we arrived.
Very poor service and unprofessional.
- Mina (4/5): Location was great, that’s it. - Location The host Jay message me to cancel the booking just minutes before the check in time as he has alibi of the previous tenant won’t leave. Knowing the check out time is 11am, why he did not settle and did not even bother to inform me that there could be a possible problem. We were so stressed as we planned and booked a month before so everything will be smooth, me and my friends came from different far places of UK and some came from night shifts, how would you feel if he said that just minutes before check in. If we did not pushed him to find a new place to stay, he would just keep saying sorry and just refund. But after all we are still thankful that he found a place for us even closer to the central, however, the facility is not that clean enough, the new host was helpful only on the first day, he said he will fix the internet the next day but never heard of him until on end of our stay. The rice cooker was not working but he was not replying to our message.
- Sian (10/5): Exceptional - 10 out 10 stay. Property was great, large rooms, plenty space in living areas. Great locations easy train and tube access from central London. Great shopping 5 mins away. Clean flat and area surrounding them. We didnt have children but very kid friendly, will bring them next time. Definetly stay again. Not an issue but watch pre payment meter if youve got heating on, money goes down quick. Watch out for the blinds as well.
- Christine (6/5): Not 10 stars but nice enough - The apartment was really spacious, and the balcony was lovely, it was clean, although the fridge wasn't as clean as it could have been but a bit of soap and water sorted that. Shower was great, great location to tubes/station around 15 mi Ute walk. The apartment was a bit less luxurious than stated, the stools at the table were very worn and all of the blinds were ripped and looked shabby, thanks balcony was great but very cluttered and it was like living in someone's home and felt a bit strange with toys etc and clothes in the cupboard but still comfortable and clean.
- Rizal (10/5): 5 stars property with super convenient transport links - Love everything about it! It got everything and so close to the transport (bus, train, tube) and shopping centre. 1 week or few days before the checkin, I tried to contact the property to arrange for an earlier checkin but the staff that responded just ignored a lot of my messages, so it left me in dark wheather or not i can check in early or not, what is the checkin process etc. And on the day of the checkin, they only responded a few hours before I checkin to confirm and the guy that responded only then told me to contact another guy to arrange the checkin. Thankfully the the guy that handling the checkin after that was super nice and make the whole checkin process really easy. If they can improve the process and their responds prior the checkin process, it would definitely be better :))
- Jill (8/5): Very good -
- Nadia (7/5): Large apartment in convenient location close to transport and shopping, but doesn’t hit the standards of luxury as state - The apartment is very large for London has 3 decent sized bedrooms, a large kitchen and living area with an outdoor balcony that has nice views over the nearby apartment complexes. The host Jay was responsive when contacted and meet us for check-in. The apartment whilst a little way from central London, was very easily accessible to the Stratford train station servicing various tube and district line options. Additionally, Westfield shopping centre and grocery stores all within close walking distance, and we were able to find parking on the street overnight for free from 9pm to 8am in the morning. The apartment is clearly the regular home of the host and as such does not offer the same high standards of cleanliness or professional operation of other permanently hosted homes. There was a lot of clutter throughout the apartment including many old, broken and dirty, unnecessary items in various rooms like bathroom, kitchen, balcony and cupboards that should be removed or replaced. There are lots of toys throughout the house and whilst our kids loved these, they just created more clutter. The ensuite had a broken mouldy wooden floor step that we had to remove to the balcony for our health and overall the apartment lacks ventilation, making it quite stuffy. Blinds need to be provided in the bedroom and lounge, as these are currently just black folded cardboard stuck onto the windows with tape.
I understand the host is trying hard and with some small changes this apartment could be great. We were encouraged by the host to provide a 10 out of 10 review, which I didn’t find appropriate, so have obviously reviewed honestly here for the betterment of the apartment in the future.
- Kadeem (10/5): Exceptional -
