• Sarah (2/5): Not great (: - Close shops, bars and restaurants. Waiting at said bar for ages as we got locked out, no key in the lock box.
• Carmel (3/5): I would advise against booking this property due to the series of faults we experienced. - The location was great, and the main reason we booked the apartment. The apartment was still dirty from the previous occupants, even though we arrived at the expected time and on the correct date. We struggled to get the lock box open to retrieve the keys. We had to stay in a hotel for the Sunday night, and the apartment was still not cleaned when we arrived back on the Monday morning. We could not access the apartment until after 1pm. There was no hot water for the first three days, it was impossible to communicate with the hosts directly and we finally found someone who could speak with them, and even then they did not make any effort to fix the hot water. My son came and worked out that someone had turned the gas water service off. This was incredibly frustrating and had a big negative impact on our holiday. The shower hose was not connected to the wall, we bought tape to stick it back up so we could shower. There was no curtain for the back door, we had to rig up something to try and keep the daylight out from 4.30am, also, we could not lock this door. There were no blankets for the fold out bed, even though I had asked for them. There were no tea towels in the kitchen, we had to use hand towels from the bathroom. To our shock we got a knock on the door from some people who had booked and paid for this apartment while we were still there, and not due out for another three days.

• Josha (5/5): If you just need a bed for the night it's fine - Bed was comfortable enough and had everything needed for a stay. Roof terrace was a nice addition. Interior was very dated and wear and tear was very apparent, the entrance hallway leading to the flat was in poor condition and front door didn't feel overly secure. On leaving in the morning that same hallway then smelt of vomit. If you just need a bed for the night its fine but would not recommend long stays.
• Diana (10/5): - We like comfy flat,terase. Locasion and quet plase!.we found tea,sugar and enother things what nead ut to sty for a couple days of relax with a small familly. Slow internet only 1 problem. But it not a big deal.
• Allars (1/5): Terrible experience — the property was dirty, unsecured, and unsafe. I didn’t feel comfortable stayi - The experience was terrible. I would not recommend this property. I had a very disappointing experience at this property. When I arrived, it was immediately obvious that someone had been inside after it was supposedly cleaned. The bed looked as if someone had been lying on it, there was tobacco on the bed and scattered across the floor, and the kitchen was left dirty with crumbs throughout. Even more concerning, the back door had been left unlocked. I found the kettle outside along with lighters both on the floor and outside the property. This made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe during my stay. I also ended up booking another hotel around the corner at my own expense, as I didn’t feel safe knowing that someone could potentially access the property while I was sleeping. Overall, the property did not meet even basic standards of cleanliness or security.

Trattasi di poltrona divano letto e lo tenevamo alto mettendo sotto le valigie. Camera da letto molto piccola con letto matrimoniale piccolo francese su un angolo e nell'altro angolo il Sofà letto singolo rotto. Bagno molto molto vecchio acqua calda non costante Probabilmente la caldaia da pulire, i con perdite di acqua dal soffitto. Scala di accesso all'appartamento primo piano impegnativa, rampa stretta e alta, difficoltà a portare le valigie In generale tutti i mobili dell'appartamento erano molto vecchi e molto rotti ad esclusione del microonde. Impianto elettrico in casa formato da fili volanti. La camera non era stata predisposta per i tre letti per fortuna che abbiamo trovato una valigia dell'host in casa con le lenzuola per il terzo letto

• Ignacio (8/5): Buena ubicación y agradable - El apartamento es pequeño pero estaba muy bien equipado, limpio, tenía muy buena ubicación y una terraza muy bonita para disfrutar del aire libre La ducha que no logras regular la temperatura entre frío y caliente y la luz de la habitación no funcionaba

• Susie (1/5): Avoid this place like the plague!!! - Absolutely awful. Doesn’t look anything like photos. Very outdated. Kitchen window was damaged on arrival, open wide enough to fit a large adult through so told landlord, it was 5:30pm. He told me he would sort it tomorrow. After me saying that wasn’t acceptable as it was unsafe, being a woman on my own, and cold he told me there was nothing he could do about it. Side of bath also split, lino split throughout property, TV showed no signal on all channels, cooker was dirty, duvet cover seemed unwashed and whole place smelt like grease. Had no choice but to move out after 30 minutes of arriving and found alternative accomodation. I have requested a refund only to be ignored. Had to flag to Booking.com customer service. Awful experience. Everything!

• Bhattacharyya (4/5): Everything is disappointing apart from the location - the location. The nearest tube was Angle which is just 3 stops from London Bridge station and just 1 stop from kings cross. I stayed in the BnB for 3 days. The BnB price was way too much than the facilities. the stairs of the BnB nothing less than the mountain climbing. The kitchen is very small and clumsy. The terrace with the room is literally no use and should be converted to a drawing room. Then it will be value for money. The house is really old, may be built on 18th century. There was someone leaving above our room who used to dance all the nights and footsteps were quite similar to a ghost. The bathroom is only suitable for the thin people and if you are fat then you will not able to reach to the commode will stuck between the bathtub and wash basin. If you book the BnB only for sleeping at night after an exhausting day, looking to make only some basic food and prefer to stay in zone 1 then the BnB may be a good choice. My rating is 2/5 where 1.5 for the location.

We couldn’t stay here and ended up getting a local Travelodge - The location was good The apartment is filthy, the flooring is dangerous because it’s uneven and cracked, the whole place smells of damp. There are unsecured windows, the toilet moves when you sit on it, the bath panel is cracked. There are cigarette ends all over the balcony.

• Susanna (7/5): No concerns. Clean. - This is property is a good location. The market has an amazing cheese stand! Communication with owner was very good and helpful. Property was clean. The building is in need of some TLC as is the apartment but it met our needs for a place to stay for one night. Small but we managed as 2 adults. In need of some repair and a general make-over.

The bathroom requires a fair degree of contortion due to layout and constrained space. Would be much better if it could be remodelled with just a shower - who needs a bath in such accommodation?

• Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely cozy place to be. It had a great terrace where we cooked a BBQ. The host was very helpful too. There is a market on the road which it came super handy. 👌

I am awaiting my refund but booking.com nor the agent is contacting me. Time to go to the media Should not be on the market. It stinks, no wheelchair access, no elevator. The building was disgusting

• Tegan (2/5): Dirty - TV was logged into Netflix, and it has a balcony It was filthy, the bin was full of food, there was a plastic bag full of vodka bottles and takeaway boxes, and the bed sheets and towels hadn't been changed also the bed room smelled like dog and tge floors were dirty. This place could have easily got at least a 2 and a half star rating if it wasn't for this, but it gets one from me

• Anonymous (1/5): Awful - Nothing This has got to be worst place I have stayed, flooring has holes in them, light not working in hallway, toilet door doesn’t, shut, blinds don’t block window in bedroom, oven out of order, bath panel all cracked just a sum of issues not mention the ants and the general state of flat. When we couldn’t access the building due to an issue with the external door I called the owner and he response was unsure what I can do to help. Luckily someone was leaving the building and let us in.

• Jeremy (6/5): Almost really good flat in a great location...in good weather - Very good location in close proximity to local shops, bars restaurants. Easy to reach all parts of central London by bike, walking, bus or tube. The terrace saved this property for me. The weather was lovely and working on the terrace each evening was a pleasure. The host was very welcoming and helpful through messages on Booking.com. Clearly lots of effort to make the place welcoming, with good crockery etc. Even in the lovely weather during my stay the overwhelming smell in the property was of damp. Moving around the property is quite difficult as there are too many walls and posts in the way and, as is common in London, the bathroom is tiny. The gas cooker was out of order and rusty and should be removed. The Lino on the floor is not fitted properly so presents a trip hazard. The entrance stairway is a bit grim, very narrow and steep and not cleaned to etc same standard as the flat itself.
• Christian (7/5): Fine for one night, good location, needs a bit of TLC - Location is great, room is fine for 2 people, terrace is lovely More towels, bath mat and hand towel were non existent. Pull out sofa bed could have been better, not great for 3 people. Cold tap on bathroom sink moved around a lot so be wary.

• Marcelo (10/5): Cosy and complete! - A nice cosy apartment in Islington, moments away from Angel tube station. Great live location with shops bars restaurants and even a market! But inside the flat was absolutely quiet, so a good restful night sleep guaranteed. All the basics you may need to feel like home, and all working in perfect order. Shower with good water pressure, gas centtal heating, etc. All nice and clean. A nice large terrace with artificial grass with table and chairs also equipped with a new barbecuer if the weather allows it! Absolutely great value for money, great check in and checkout experience, no complications! definitely a place to come back again! i recommend it. M P N/A
