- Oliver (8/5): Stunning villa with breath-taking views and excellent amenities - PawPaw cottage overlooks a green pasture with a few animals in it and fireflies bobbing about all over the place at night. Behind that you can see out to the sea. We were wowed when we opened the door and walked through. It has a great pool (bigger than the one our friends had up the hill) and the rooms are incredibly spacious. The kitchen has all the amenities that you could ask for and they even stocked the fridge with supplies to get us going considering all the shops were closed over the xmas period. All the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help out where they could. We were incredibly unfortunate to get to the property the week that the heat pump went on the blink, and being Christmas eve when we arrived we ended up spending 2 and a half days without any hot water. Not ideal when you have made plans with friends to do nice things in the afternoons and evenings! That said, the team did everything they could to get it sorted and eventually they did, but it felt like a lot of money to spend on a villa to not be able to shower properly and wash your hair. It took the shine off what was otherwise a fantastic villa!
