• ileana (1/5): Impossibile soggiornare in una camera così piccola - La camera è sicuramente in un ottimo. Ma eravamo sei persone e non avevamo neanche la possibilità di camminare all'interno della camera perché non essendoci spazio alle valigie vanno lasciate vicino ai letti bisogna scavalcarle per potersi muovere. Questa è una camera che al massimo può avere tre persone un letto matrimoniale e un letto singolo invece ci sono due letti matrimoniali più un letto a castello ed è impossibile muoversi nella camera. Il prezzo è altissimo e non vale proprio la pena prenotare questa struttura perché si arriva a Manhattan comodamente anche da altri quartieri ed è impossibile vivere in questa camera.

• Raudales Puerto (6/5): Good and close to metro. - Lots of beds and good air conditioning. The hosts were kind and we could leave of luggage without any issue. We had enough of everything, you pay what you get in a good way. The TV was small and the internet was very bad. Could say much more than that.

• Bas (6/5): Krappe studio centraal gelegen in mid town Manhattan. - Locatie is prettig en centraal in midtown Manhattan. Voor ons gezelschap van vier was er weinig leefruimte. Er is nauwelijks ruimte voor bagage of andere spullen op te bergen. De aangeprezen zithoek is buiten en bij koude dagen dus geen reeële optie. Enige zitplaatsen zijn dus het bed, en dat moet ook wel, want anders kan een ander zich niet door de ruimte bewegen. Er is veel lawaai van de nabijgelegen lift en leidingen in het gebouw.

The host supposedly had office hours but was never there when I tried. The toilet leaked and kept us up at night. The air conditioner worked for 2 nights, then stopped. A cleaning staff worker smoked in the hall outside our room.

• Emilie (6/5): Je ne conseil pas si vous avez des enfants - Chambre propre Prix accessible mais on comprend mieux pourquoi une fois y avoir séjourné La grandeur des chambres ne reflète pas les photos Malgré le fait de ne pas être en plein centre un groupe extérieur a fait beaucoup de bruit chaque nuit. Après de grosse journée cela n’est pas agréable de ne pas pouvoir passer une nuit à dormir La vie sur l’empire et le prix ne doit pas être un facteur de choix

The beds were comfortable and it was perfect for our one-night getaway. The noise! The heater or pipes or clanking of something in the middle of the night was SO LOUD! I was amazed my kids slept through it but my husband and I were up for awhile because of the noise

• Lauren (10/5): We had a great stay and would definitely consider staying again in the future! - Location was great, close to the the train station and food options. Room was the perfect size for our small getaway. Staff promptly provided more toiletries and towels when asked. Reception also kept our luggage upon checkout so we could enjoy our last day. Room was slightly cold (it was also 7 degrees outside) but a space heater was available for use. Also, there was only 1 pillow per bed.

• Kayleigh (8/5): - Easy to communicate with staff. Laundry room. Great outdoor space and view of ESB which is why we booked. Beds were comfortable. Warm, clean and safe. 24 hour reception. Small fridge, hob, crockery and kitchen utensils. Provided a kettle on request. Shower was hot and had good pressure. No room to move really, no storage for clothes so had to live out of suitcases.

• Tiffany (5/5): Great location, hard to sleep. - The property was clean and in a good location. Check in and check out was very easy and the luggage service was nice. The building is VERY loud with excessive issues with the pipes in the walls, the elevator motor etc. These issues remained loud and vibrated the room all night. Igloo does not look like the photos and elevator is slow…..like waited for over 15 minutes kind of slow.

• Alejo Cunsolo (9/5): - Ubicacion inmejorable, comodo para 4 personas, las vistas al empire son increibles! Henry es un gran anfitrion, siempre predispuesto y amable. Nos permitio dejar las valijas y retirarlas mas tarde, eso nos ayudo a disfrutar nuestro ultimo dia en NY. La calefaccion en invierno es un poco ruidosa por las noches, no se si es mejorable o no, pero solo eso.

• Sadie (9/5): - The location was excellent and we had pretty much all we needed for a comfortable stay. The roof terrace was great - as long as you put the heater on in advance in the igloo it's a cosy spot to relax and look up at The Empire State Building. The apartment was a perfect size for me and my daughter and we had a double bed each. I would recommend this place to a couple or a family with two children. The pipes are extremely noisy! Nothing that can be done about it but it frightened the life out of us when we first heard it as it sounds like someone is breaking in! The only other small point is there was no tin opener or wine glasses.

• Dejan (7/5): Roof terrace is a top - Location was perfect, close to the city centre, and everything is within walking distance. The roof terrace is a quite charming area with a direct view of the Empire State Building. The price is very acceptable for this location. Didn't have any problems with WiFi. The maids completely took away the elevators from the tourists. We were to wait for 15 minutes to get in and they didn't care at all. The rooms were too small for 6 people and had no places to store clothes. It should be reduced to 4 persons at most and provide some storage area ... even for the same price. There were everyday construction works on the building, which made a lot of noise.

• Scott (8/5): Great location, clean, compact space, ideal for a short stay. - The location was perfect, the host and communication were very good. It was compact, but we knew this before booking. There was no kettle, but one message to the host and this was provided within ten minutes - they provide only on request. Fresh towels were also provided when requested. There were 6 cups, plates, etc, a fridge, and a microwave. The shower and bathroom were clean & relatively modern The rooftop terrace was a nice open air space for coffee in the morning, and ideal to get some space while others showered and got ready, as it's quite a tight space. Ample outdoor seating for all members of our party. The free luggage holding service was ideal for the day off departure as well, as our flight home wasn't until after 9pm. The WiFi was poor. The host did try several times to fix it, but it was difficult to get into, and slow at the times we did manage to get on. There was no safe available in the room - this band we had to take our cash and passports out with us. Although we were confident they would've been safe, we didn't want to take a chance.
• daniel (8/5): מיקום טוב אבל דירה קטנה ל 6 אנשים ויש מה לשפר - מיקום מאוד מרכזי וקרוב לטיימס סקוור למי שזה חשוב החדר סך הכל נקי ומאובזר דירה מאוד קטנה ל 6 אנשים, היו שתי מיטות זוגיות ומיטת קומותיים… ממש עדיף 2 מיטות קומותיים ואז שיהיה יותר מקום למזוודות וציוד. לנו היה ממש צפוף. אם אתה מגיע אחרי 17:00 אתה מקבל את המפתחות מהשומר בלובי. אנחנו הגענו מהטיסה ב 23:00 ובדיוק השומר התחלף וזה שבא הלך להתארגן… בקיצור חיכינו בכניסה לבנין בלי להבין מה קורה והילדים התחילו לאבד סבלנות וזה היה מרגיז
• Gibb (8/5): Loved it - just what we needed - a bed, shower and excellent location to explore NY. - The receptionist at Hotel & the City, and I can't remember his name, was exceptional - very professional, curteous, helpful and efficient. he helped hold our bags before check in and let us leave them after check out and before our flight. Even the receptionist and night security at the front entrance were helpful. This was a great room / large balcony space for our family of 5 (5 adults) who were exploring NYC for 3 days/2 nights. You are all sleeping in one room, but we managed fine with two doubles and a bunk bed and 3 cases. Everything worked, everything was clean, and the location was superb. Being able to look up at the Empire State Building from the outside balcony was great too. Excellent location on 31st between 5th and 6th Avenue. Good value for 5 adults. It was noisy in the morning - from about 9am, but that was work on buildings outside the control of the host - and that's progress - New York was being repaired and built around us.

Estábamos en el piso 12 y solo podíamos subir con un ascensor porque a ese piso solo sube uno (había que esperar bastante). Justo a lado estaban trabajando los obreros haciendo obras en la azotea No repetiría en este apartamento.

• John (10/5): It was all about the location. Views of Empite State Building from the private rooftop terrace. Where we stayed was a la - The location!! Being able to sit on the rooftop and see the Empire State Building The air con was noisy - it didn’t bother us and we were very happy for the air con!

• Gary (9/5): Great start to our US adventure, brilliant location, friendly staff, stunning views from the rooftop patio. - Stunning location, clean, great shower, beds comfortable, A/C, outdoor space and views. Great selection of TV channels including free to view cable tv with films and shows, Disney + We knew what we were booking, but space is tight. End up walking around and climbing over suitcases. Not so much of a problem if the weather is good but you can’t stay in the room for long when it’s raining. Don’t think we could have stayed much longer than 3 nights, but again we knew what we were booking and the location etc all make up for it, so can’t fault the hotel.

The Empire State Building is literally in front of you 😊 The elevators can be quite busy as there is only one that goes up to the 11th floor where the accommodation is located

The place is extremely clean and the location is excellent. It is very cozy, two double beds and a bunk bed - which is fine if you’re out exploring the city - just for the price it could be a little more reasonable.

The views of empire state are exactly as you see them! The size. For 2 adults and 3 teenagers, we struggled. The shower was not very powerful.

The Igloo was actually brilliant and provided extra living area. Great experience! 1 pillow provided per person. Would be good to have 2 pillows per person

The dome in the terrace was fab & the views from the terrace were amazing. Loved everything about the apartment.
• Maria (8/5): Excellent and comfortable - The location was great and steps from everywhere . The room was small but the 5 peaople felt very comfortable anyways and the beds were great ! The bathroom was spacious and everything was very clean n It didn’t have drinking glasses or a coffee machine , but we asked for a carafe and they provided one for us as well as some extra light for outdoors .

The elevator to reach the roof apartment is a nightmare, you can stay up to 20 mins waiting. The bathroom has no window and this creates humidity and a smell of mold. The lobby is a mix of different people as there are different hotel businesses on each floor. Sometimes it feels unsafe.

Outdoor area is exceptional with great view of Empire state building - perfect for morning breakfast or evening glass of wine / beer etc Easy access and room itself has all you would need for family of 5 Option of free storage of luggage on day of departure is also a great service

• Gena (8/5): Our stay was great overall, and we would stay here again. - Location is accessible to lots of restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The room is small, but cute and clean. It worked out great for my daughters and I. The little adjacent patio is so cute, and we could see the ESB from our rooftop! And the price was great for our budget! The elevator is very slow, and the water pressure for the toilet was not the best if you had just showered or were using the sink. Both issues are probably because of the age of the building. Neither would keep me from staying here again though.

Plenty of wall electrical outlets for our devices. Only minor things. We would have appreciated some coffee pods or teabags in the room. Towel changes are not free. No hair conditioner provided.
